Came on a week night and sat at the counter. They're open pretty late (I believe until 11pm) which is convenient.
Ordered a handful of skewers and some appetizers and a beer. The quality of the chicken, pork, and vegetable yakitoris was adequate. They cook them in an open kitchen setting and I can see they were using charcoal (or called binchotan, in Japanese). They also have the 7 spice seasoning (shichimi togarashi) and soy sauce at the table. The beef tasted interesting..it was too sweet to my liking, so that was the only thing I would pass on next time.
They have a good variety of foods on the menu and there and the crowd was both young adults having a good time and older businessman grabbing a bite after work.
Service was a bit slow and one of the girls didn't have the best attitude but overall the experience was good. read more
