They were very friendly and the place was clean . I got a pedicure it was so comfortable and relaxing, they did the exfoliation treatment and the massage was great! Also got gel nails set with multiple color . Nancy did my nails she was efficient and great at her job. The woman that did the pedicure was also not rushed and very attentive to my needs she did an Amazing job! I will definitely go back. Shop was clean and the service was good. My shaking cause I'm so cold. She finally comes back to me and works on my feet. Then she moves to someone getting eye brows waxed then comes back to me. Worst experience ever. I had gone there since i was young like 16 for 10 years until one day she messed up my eyebrow and waxed off so much that till this day it's never grown back. When i told her, out of respect i made it discreet and away from other customers. She then started screaming at me at the top of her lungs saying that there was no problem what do you want. I was so embarrassed and hurt that she chose to treat me so poorly. She then banned me on the spot from ever returning. I not once raised my voice back or said anything rude in return i just looked at her teary eyed and baffled at the exchange. Even the customers looked at me like damn. She still charged me and since I'm not confrontational i just paid and ran out so upset and embarrassed. My eyebrows are very thick always but now one doesn't grow in at the bottom im forced to draw it in everyday. I know she's the only place around here but trust me they aren't that good there are better places where they spark real conversation and have more integrity. I read reviews before coming but I am at JBMDL so it was convenient to go in and I thought it couldn't be THAT bad. I'll start with my mani, I was getting a regular manicure but I had gels that needed to be taken off. At any other place I have gone, the nail technician soaks my nails with acetone to loosen them and then they come off way easier and simply use the dremel at the end to finish it off. I sat down and he used the dremel from the start to grind all my gels off to the point where I slightly pulled away twice bc he was going so hard and it was actually burning me. I think he got the point once I flinched. When he got to the "massage" part he asked if I wanted lotion or not, I said yes (thinking why wouldn't I? Considering manicures usually come with the lotion and massage and I fully expected that since the regular mani is $15 which is a few more dollars than I usually pay). He just rubbed the lotion on in 1-2 seconds WITH the dust that was still on his hands from when he was dremeling/filing my gels off so the lotion felt grainy. I thought the nail polish itself and nails looked fine besides being put on a little thick. It wasn't until I got outside in the bright light that I noticed how visibly thick and bad they looked (I'll post a pic). Moving on to my pedi: I opted on the special spa pedicure which includes an exfoliating treatment, hot towels and longer massages for $35. The scrub I assume she used for the "exfoliating" treatment was rubbed on my shins for about 2 seconds and then taken off (didn't even do my actual feet). Warm towels were put over a clay mask type thing which actually felt nice but then she started someone's fillings and left the towels on for 10 minutes which I thought was too long considering the towels got cold and uncomfortable. I would have taken them off if it wasn't for the fact that my manicure was still drying. Then on the massage at the end, I was looking forward to just relaxing and enjoying the "longer" massage since I had been wearing boots for a while...she ruined that hope by stopping mid massage TWICE to attend to others. Don't get me wrong, I understand she wants to get to everyone but it seems they are understaffed and that is not good customer service. Hire some more people or turn people away if you can't keep up. Not only that, it wasn't that long as was advertised for the spa special. It was maybe the same amount of time you would get somewhere else with a normal pedicure. All in all, my toes actually came out fine despite the less than satisfying rushed spa pedicure so that is the only reason I gave 2 stars. read more

They were so bad I could not stand to look at them anymore. I went as a walk in and was taken immediately. Bobby had to remove my old acrylics and redo them with tips. For the process needing to be done he was finished with polish in an hour! He was so quick and did an excellent job. I LOVE my new acrylics. It was on my way home from work so I decided to stop and the only way I will go back is if I am in a rush. It's not the nicest inside and the selection of polish is not that big. Probably the smallest selection I have seen in any nail salon. The workers are nice, very nice, which is why I was happy. BUT my pedicure did not look that great. She needed to use a brush to clean it up on the sides because it was all over. That is the first time that has ever happened for a pedicure for me, usually they're so precise that they would never need that. It was only $20 though so it was pretty cheap. Needed a fill with gel and acrylic. I didn't get the name of the gentleman that helped me, but he was fantastic. Brief: DISGUSTING/NOT CLEAN, NAILS BROKE AFTER 3 DAYS, and MOST EXPENSIVE GEL MANICURE EVER. While visiting my parents for the holidays I needed a quick gel manicure. I came to Nancy's with my younger sister to get two gel manis. Costs: $10 just to remove previous gel Nail Polish... I live in NYC and even there no one charges just to remove polish. The manicure came to $40 total and I tipped $10. Removing the polish: they use the sanding tool (not sure it's actual name but it's electric and gas a top that spins really fast to grind down in things). This tool was coming close to nail, like really close, and it started to hurt. The dust was going everywhere and I was trying my best not to breathe it in. Cleanliness: Absolutely disgusting. The lights were very dull in there so it was hard to really inspect everything. The towel she asked me to put my hands on was dirty with nail polish and old nail clippings/cuticles. I asked if I could have a clean towel and the woman rang it out behind her and refolded it for me to put my hands on... Later, when I put my hands under the UV light to cure the gel manicure, the floor of the machine absolutely disgusting, dirty and some sort of gunk cakes onto the bottom. I had to hover my hands inside the machine. It was so gross and the outside was covered in dust. The cuticle cutter she used on me had old cuticles in, when I asked for it to be cleaned she banged it on the table and started... When doing my gels, the tech did not put polish on the ends of my nails to seal it, by leaving it exposed makes the nails more susceptible to chipping or even breaking. The male tech is very talented and this place has potential but they need to take time to clean! Clean the tools, clean the towels, clean everything!! I broke two nails after 3 days. Unacceptable for a $40 gel manicure plus $10 tip. I pay way less in the city and receive much better quality. read more

I had a fill and manicure done here and won't go back. No a/c doors wide open the smell of sewage in the shop. I had to go back because after 1.5 weeks one nail popped off. The owner hurried me to sit down because 2 customers walked in behind me, guess she didn't want them to hear me complaining. She the came over to me and got in my face and told me exactly when I had been there and she would have to charge me $5.00 to fix the nail (of course I paid) I think that she should have repaired it no charge. IMO, not the most personable staff as they seem to be irritated more than I've ever seen in a salon but they do get the job done. I went to Nancy Nail Spa for a refil since the place I normally go to were closed for the day. I never get gel, but for some reason she kept telling me to get gel because it's better. After I told her " no thank you, I rather get a regular polish", for the 4th time, she got upset, & started to rush. She cut me twice & my nail was sore. She also filed one of my nail wrong & you could notice it was crooked, when I asked if she could fix it, she replied with " what do you want me to do?" I paid, but did not leave a tip. called this place at 9:50 a.m. this morning to make a noon appointment. When I spoke to the lady I asked her if they would be on time because I had somewhere to go. She guaranteed me that everything would be fine. I got there at 11:55am There were people waiting and also the only 3 nail stations were filled. I sat there while they finish doing other people and even painted 2 young girl's nails. Now it is 12:21 p.m. and she takes two other pedicures in front of me. When I approached her about my appointment she said the other people were there before me so she's going to take them. So I walked the hell out of there! I read a few reviews about this same problem online but I figured because she guaranteed me by phone that I would be okay. Needless to say I will never go back in there for anything! I usually go here because it's close by where we live. If you are looking on something cheap this a good place. You are getting what you paid for. I got a nail gel and it only lasted a week and it started to peel off. Then came back here to get my fake nails remove and just get a regular manicure. When i came there no one was there and they work on me pretty quick but since im getting my fake nails remove it took some time. Same time few people starts to show up. By the time im getting manicure (i got mani and pedi) , it seems like she was rushing to get other customer in. Yes, she filed my nails and do the regular things but she did horrible. Came in here as I was stopping through McGuire AFB. I called ahead of time to ask if they did eyelashes. She said they did. Once I got there, I asked about the service again because it wasn't listed on the pricelist on the wall. They do not do individual lashes. The cluster lashes were $30 and the strip was $15. There seems to be only one person that actually does fills, so there can be quite a wait for that. He is good though, not amazing, but good. The language barrier can be an issue if the English speaking workers are busy as the woman who seems to run the place and act as receptionist doesn't speak English. After the technician came to the counter when I arrived and understood I wanted a gel pedi and full set--so she's aware I'm already spending a MINIMUM of $70, I sat in the chair until the water went cold for 45 mins while they took 3 other walk in customers ahead of me. One for a full set, another for a pedi, and one for a waxing. Even after I mentioned the lack of service and my disdain for the priority in which I wasn't being helped, they continued in their activity. I put my shoes on and walked out with not even a word getting said to me. The customer sitting beside me was sympathetic, but it wasn't her place to say anything. What a shame. Im still in disbelief. I arrived at 9:22 they took me immediately because I was the first to arrive the polish they have is brands I have never heard of in my life. I sat down she barely cut my toenails wiped lotion on my leg and gave it a 10 seconds massage then drained the water from the tub and started painting my nails but first she set up another girl in the tub next to mine and started filling her tub and tending to her. Within 15 mins I was done and she said ok have a nice day. WTF. That was worth maybe $10. I work in the service industry and always believe in tipping but not today. This is the worse fill that I have ever had. Nancy only used a thin coat of acrylic, one coat of polish, and super thin coat of gel. After 2 days the gel is starting to peel. I usually only get my nails filled once a month but I will be lucky if this lasts a week. Complete waste of my money! read more
