Been going to Turning Heads for a number of years. Been with the same stylist for a few years. I usually get a trim. Last visit the stylist didn't listen to my wishes not to cut my bangs short, just a trim. She cut off more than 2 inches. Now I look like a rock singer. At my age I feel ridiculous. In June I have a graduation party to attend... I hope my bangs grow out by then. Needless to say I won't be going to that business again. read more

This was my first time at this salon and I had a wonderful experience here. It's located in a strip mall right next to a Wawa and Anthony's pizza! Super convenient! I grabbed some coffee from Wawa right before my appointment and afterwards got a slice of pizza! When I first approached the door I was greeted with smiles and a very welcoming feeling. The counter to check in is directly in front of you; to the left is a little boutique and the nail stations. To the right are the hair stations. You can find different products for sale from hair care items to specialty soaps! My appointment was with Allison and I didn't have any wait time! She started my hair right at my appointment time which was very nice! She asked me what I wanted done/ look I was going for. I showed her 2 photos that I had brought in and she knew exactly what I was going for! I could tell Allison was extremely knowledgeable in hair! She took into consideration my face shape as well as other features of my face when we discussed the layers that I desired. I had a wonderful experience with Allison and my hair looks great! My husband gave me a Gift Card for a Single Process Color Cut and Style for $85 including Tip $105 during my Visit the Girl ask if I wanted Highlights I was NEVER TOLD A PRICE. She brought me to the sink to get Shampooed out and but Some Surem on my hair that had to be left in for 10min didn't know or was told their was additional charge for this. She charge me for a FULL Head Foil that was a $100 and when I got home only Half my head was Foiled. Than she charged me to Shampoo my color out which I though was included with the price since you cant walk out with color left in your hair. Than she charged me blow dry and Style which I assume was included with $85 which it says cut & Style. Total I walked out paying $245. I totally got ripped off!! They charged me Ala Carte!! I will Never Go back there again. There are way better Salons around for less Money and Better Quality... read more

So my wife didn't ask about how much the service would cost all she got was a color and my daughter got a trim and it was $217!!!!!! I didn't want to pay for it. I felt robbed. I honestly felt like this was $100 over charge for some reason. I was shocked when the stylist said $217...this was outrageous. Always ask for how much a service is. I feel cheated and robbed. Not worth the money and I really wish I could get $100 back because I honestly feel like I was overcharged...still the next day I'm stunned that a simple color and trim was $217!!!!! Every single time I had my hair cut and colored at Turning Heads, I was well pleased. I'm sorry, but I cannot remember the name of my stylist; I haven't had my hair done in over two years. However, I'll be making an appointment on Tuesday. Turning Heads will pull up my name on the computer and find the name of my stylist so I can have my hair done by her. She's amazing. I'll amend this review once I find out her name. Again, I'm sorry, I am terrible with names. You walk into the shop, you are greeted warmly and the most you have to wait is 5 minutes tops! I've never had a "bad" haircut or color. I ever had a Brazilian blowout once, which I loved. I highly recommend that you visit this salon and give it a try! read more

This was the first time I went to Turning Heads for a haircut and a color I had alli my hair was a little more difficult but she did a fantastic job the color came out great and she gave me a haircut everything went fine she was very pleasant and the place was very pleasant I will be returning and my appointment was for 10 I walked right in and sat down and she was ready. read more

EVERYTIME I've come here, they never gave me what I wanted. I asked for a balayage, I got a few streaks of blonde. I asked to get my hair dyed grey, they dye half my head an ashy blonde and after one wash, my head is yellow and brassy. I paid over $300 for damaged hair. The worst part is, they make it seem like it's your fault. Save your money. Don't go here! read more

These ladies are great! Always honest and realistic about expectations and will let you know if a color is achievable or not right off the bat. Their pricing is fair, and you even have the option for them to tell you the price up front too which I love! i can't speak to the quality of the cut and it is certainly not a fancy place, but I can speak to the fact that the owner Linda is a compassionate and helpful person. She cuts my mother's hair, and takes her time to make my mom beautiful and feel good about herself. As we age, there is no pricetag on that. read more

I found this place on Yelp and I wasn't disappointed. I was greeted warmly when I entered. Allison, my stylist, was right on time. She was super friendly, and knowledgable about what kind of cuts would work with my face shape and hair type. I really appreciate it when someone is honest and will tell me if something won't work for me. Even though the place was super busy (one of the other stylist was out sick and they were picking up her appointments and fitting them in with their own appointments), Allison took her time and didn't make my appointment feel at all rushed. I asked the girl to do purple ombre on my hair. I felt like she rushed everything. She was a hot mess running around. Tried to convinced me she saw purple on my hair after. Told her I saw bleach spots everywhere. Explained that I had Virgin hair and haven't done anything to it. She damages my hair. Wouldn't even think twice going back. read more

I don't know the name of the woman who just did my eyebrows, but she made them ridiculously thin and uneven. A quarter of my left brow is gone. This is completely unacceptable, and I should not have had to pay for this. Highly don't recommend.
