My nail tech today also did a lovely job with the nail design. She was very skilled and meticulous with her work (grooming, polish and design) so I expect this set will last longer than my last. If you're getting a Russian mani, take note that you can expect it to take nearly 2 hours, so feed the parking meter accordingly. Overall, I am happy with my experience and will be back. :)

There is a code you need to get into the building that they gave me prior to coming in. I showed them my inspo pic and they got the color and everything right. Things I hate about them -- there's a very good chance the nail tech will hurt me. Well... love/hate changed to LOVE when I started seeing Tanya at The Nail Hub. She's the first nail tech who not only noticed the places where the skin on my toes grows closer and higher up on the nail bed, but made me feel like that was a normal thing that a good nail tech would notice! No more wondering if my experience would be blissful, or if someone would cut me! Enough about my trust issues. The Nail Hub is located inside of IMAGE Studios, in the same mall as the Alameda Target, though not TOO close to Target so it's fairly easy to find parking. It's basically an office building for salon service providers. It can be confusing to find their suite their first time, but after you've found it once, you'll get it. It's a cozy space with two stations each for pedicures and manicures, but has everything you need: individual plastic-lined tubs for pedicures (no questionable massage-chair-tub-combos), tools that ACTUALLY remove my foot calluses, hot towels, and a great selection of colors in both regular and gel (Bio Sculpture as well as others). Tanya also has her own collection of fun polishes, and has done some nail art for me -- stickers, glitter, ombre, magnetic cat eye! I can't wait to work with her more. Also, 5 stars alone for her excellent hand and foot massages. I have friends who have visited Tanya as well as other nail techs at Nail Hub, and they also have given me rave reviews. I always look forward to returning there, and I hope you will too.

(See my other reviews for example) it might look like a regular nail salon, but the artistry is next level luxury. My first time coming in I saw Jojo, then Hannah, then Cherry, all great work. Today I saw Lee who is also the manager and watching her work I was in awe. She was doing my builder gel mani while booking appointments, managing walk ins, checking out customers and answering calls texts, I don't know how she does it all without error but I can see why she's in charge. They are quite busy, so I recommend booking an appointment and coming during slower hours (it's never empty though!) sometimes I find myself waiting after walking in on a weekday afternoon or morning even because their customers always come back. No matter what they always find a way to get me in. They are very transparent with pricing, they will tell you how much everything is, add ons shape change etc. and it is good that they do this. This is not a cheap salon, they charge fairly for their quality of work. The employees seem happy.

I'm satisfied with my nail art but I felt I didn't ask for the most intricate mani because I was scared of being there even longer, based on how long things were taking. Overall very good service, just more expensive and not as fast as my usual spot!

just now Every time I go there, it could be 1 person getting their nails done and she says SORRRY IT'S A WAIT HOUR...Like there is literally no one there...maybe it's because one day the thought I was a teenager. I've been coming to this nail salon for over 13 years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my nails, pedicures, or eyebrows! The team always does an amazing job and takes their time to make sure everything looks perfect.
