Nanee's Donut Hole is a gem in Thomasville, Georgia. They're located in a strip shopping center on Jackson Street. There is ample parking in front of the store. The store is under an interior redesign as of early April 2025, but don't let that deter you. The donuts and pastries are as good as they have ever been. Staff are polite, friendly and personable. They go out of their way to help fill your order and will take their time to name every donut in the display case. My personal favorites include the apple fritter, cinnamon swirl roll, glazed twist, Chocolate glazed creme filled, the peach pie and the chocolate chip cookie sandwich. If you're in a hurry, don't forget to request an order of glazed donut holes! You can tell they're made fresh daily. They taste so crisp and melt in your mouth. I do recommend going on the early side. I tend to visit on Saturdays and you can tell they've been busy because the case has few options if you go after 10:30 am. The service was amazing along with the sweets. I asked the employee what their favorite flavor was, but they were out... so he whipped them right up for me. And to say that the doughnut topped with chocolate, cream and caramel were great is an understatement -- literally the best doughnut I've ever had. My husband loved the peach fritter, which came in multiple flavors.. and my children loved the strawberry sprinkled doughnuts, which were actually strawberry, not just pink frosting. The best donuts ever. Even after sitting around for days. Everything is good here. I used to take them to work in Tallahasse on Friday and my employees loved them. Then I had to increase it to 2 dozen. Big motivational tool for any coffee break room at work. And remember these Tallahasee people liked them more than Kristy Kreme, the so called King of donuts. They put the word out that "Nannie's is here". For a road trip, I like the donut holes to pop in my mouth as I drive down the road. The breakfast is pretty good too. The coffee is good. The service is certainly friendly. When they run out of donuts they start closing. This is typically about noon to 1pm. They open early about 5:30. Never a bad day after going to Nannie's. EVERYTHING BUT THE HOLE! We stopped by today to check out the donuts because no trip is ever complete with out such as visit. Nanees has been around for approximately 13 years and we were surprised to find that they still had donuts left although it was later in the day. We chose the donut holes, a large braid which is like a twist and my husband decided on the chocolate iced donut. We both agreed that we liked everything but the holes which my husband said tasted like chicken. I liked my braid because it ate like a dinner roll, (substantial, not greasy,). My husband liked his chocolate cover donut which I found disgusting. However, I believe that anything other than the standard icing on a donut is inappropriate! These donuts were okay but I do think that my donut could have used more icing and would have been even better had it been prepared in a lighter oil. Now you know! read more

Great doughnut shop. When I wanted a sprinkle doughnut they didn't have any in the display counter. But, they were nice enough to go to the back and make me some. Cairo syrup city doughnuts didn't do that for me. When they sell out they don't make anymore doughnuts. Even if it's just a glazed doughnut with icing and sprinkles. Like come on how hard is that to make. I love thomasville doughnut shop way more. read more
