The atmosphere and decoration in the coffee shop was very nice!!! Loved it! The service was fast and friendly. Honestly; our coffee was just ok. My wife ordered us a latte with toasted marshmallow cinnamon oat milk.

Loved this coffee shop in downtown Thomasville. It was adorable inside, the baristas were friendly and they were fast as getting the drink! I was in town for work and was told about this place by a local and it didn't disappoint. I had it two days and had a chai tea latte! It was delicious and would recommend if you are looking for something local to try!

Had a delightful first visit to this establishment over the weekend. I was with a party of eight on a Saturday afternoon and there were a few people already in line, but everything moved fast. The area is spacious and the bathrooms were clean. The lady who took my order was very patient and gracious as I decided what I wanted. I ended up getting a green smoothie and piña colada frozen lemonade. I enjoyed the smoothie and got the lemonade for my husband which he enjoyed, the flavor was exactly what you think of the but I didn't love it personally. Another person in my party had the white chocolate mocha which he enjoyed and the other had some sort of coffee drink with a raspberry flavor which was an aquired taste. I believe Chelsea took my order and gave me a sample of the hibiscus tea to try. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

I've visited Grassroots Coffee Co. a few times and I have had the most positive experience each time. It's a quaint and warm restaurant, perfectly located, where you can't miss it. The service has been consistently great. Very nice and helpful staff who are patient. Their coffee and specialty drinks never miss a beat. Also, there are plenty of sugar free syrup (flavor) options, which I tried this visit. Normally, there is a difference in taste, but I can honestly say I couldn't tell the difference because it wasn't too much of the syrup to the point of a bad aftertaste. This is important especially if you enjoy specialty coffee, minus the excessive sugar. When I visit Thomasville, this coffee shop is a must and I highly recommend!

    Coffee accessories too!

It has probably been a year since our last visit here. You can definitely see how much the seating has been reduced inside. Thought it odd that no sanitizer was available and the employees were not wearing masks on their faces more of a decoration perhaps? Hot chocolate was definitely hot but way too sweet and not much chocolate flavor. :( Guess it was an off Saturday for this place. Thomasville is a fun destination from Tally. Hopefully, more shops will open after Covid restrictions are lifted to keep business levels up for these restaurants.

Very yummy biscuit egg and cheese sandwhich. I love the vibes here. A lot of space! Service is great and great place to study.

This place is so wonderful! The interior is very cute and clean and the food was great too. I went with my girlfriend and her daughter and the staff was so kind in accommodating their various slightly off-menu requests. For example, my girlfriend wanted a mocha which was not on the menu and they were able to make it. Same thing with her daughter. She wanted a grilled cheese and they basically converted their quesadilla into a grilled cheese with their sour dough bread. All that with a smile on their face. Would definitely go back and recommend to all.

Cozy dairy free sugar free latte and art

This cute and cozy local cafe is a family run business. I was greeted with a smile and assured that they could meet all of my dairy free, gluten free, sugar free needs! (I know, I'm a fun hang) It's hard to find places to go where they have options and don't make you feel like you are putting them out with your food allergies. But this place made me feel at home! My "millennial toast" (a hilarious name for the avocado toast) was delicious! I asked to add an egg and it came out with big toast for gluten free. Usually the gluten free bread is tiny and not worth the visit. But I felt totally included with my portion size. I sat and warmed up from the rain and admired all of the local art on the walls and momentarily forgot where I was. In a quaint small town in GA.

Love the decor/vibes, the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Their coffee is amazing!! You have to get there early to grab a table and avoid waiting in line, this place gets full pretty quick!

Large chai latte cold without ice:(
    Charity F.

What a disappointment. I have been coming to grassroots for years and have ordered a cold chai latte without ice. I walked in today and while JR makes my drink "correctly" was there, the GM Kerrie was in today and she continued to tell me it would almost be a full cup but not. I was not feeling good about it but went with it anyways. I should have walked out. This is not the grassroots way to making a cold without ice drink. Extremely disappointed and I will not go back. My heart is broken and I have always been the one to refer grassroots to family and friends and now I have to do just the opposite. :( Kerrie was rude and snarky to the barista. She said I threw him under the bus. That is not how a GM should act in front of customers and about patrons. Sorry Ed and Spencer this was a bad experience!

Great coffee with an awesome location and layout. We've been coming here for several years and have always received exceptional service and coffee. They have wonderful selections of fresh roasted coffee and well and coffee mugs, chemex coffee makers, and anything coffee. Enjoy.

Last night we came to celebrate my son's birthday. We were seated promptly for our reservation. Service was great with our server telling us if the specials (the daily blue and the yellowtail collars they had as an appetizer). We ordered a round of drinks for the table. All was going well. The smoked fish dip was good - a solid performer. We especially liked the pickled veg that came along side it. Our mains consisted of the daily blue, two had the new chicken sandwich, and I ordered the duroc aged pork chop. Liam's is fancy now, with mains not coming with sides. This certainly cranked up the bill. I had the pork chop, which was really small despite the declared weight and the price of $45. The taste was good, but didn't really impress me. The daily blue had skin that was charred, but the fish part was good. My daughter wasn't impressed with that. The chicken sandwiches, however, were a hit. Go figure. All but the daily blue ordered a side dish. Two had the mashed potatoes, which were good, I ordered the side with stringy cheese, prosciutto, peaches, and sliced peppers. No flavor. I get the bill and there is a $9.40-something charge in there for a "non-cash transaction". Also, my two drinks were charged a dollar more than the menu price. With everything there at a premium price (a larger and much better pork chop can be had at St James for more than $10 less - with sides!), everything is a la carte, and a silly charge for not having cash means I'm done with Liam's. The place where I discovered my first and favorite scotch, a love for unique cheeses, and great cooking techniques has been outdone by at least one local competitor while increasing prices and serving less. It's a shame, but they never seem to be full, so instead of improving value and delivery, they've gone to increasing prices.

The line upon arrival was at least 15 to 20 deep, but it moved so quickly. If you arrive to a wait, do not let it deter you. They hustle!!! It was just a short wait for our food to be freshly prepared. We both opted for the same sandwich with different bagel flavors. The sesame bagel was absolutely loaded with sesame seeds. There's nothing worse than a bagel that claims to be a "sesame" bagel that only has a sad smattering of seeds across one side. This bagel was absolutely loaded up. Crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside, loaded with a huge portion of scrambled egg , this breakfast sandwich was enough for two people to share, but we did not! I would literally drive up to Thomasville from Tallahassee again just for the sandwich. You cannot beat their price point. This breakfast would be twice as much in Tallahassee as it is at Empire. Empire has a quaint, local NY bagel shop vibe. You can order bagels for the office or just a sack to take home. The assorted smears have something for everyone, with Canoli flavor being a bonus for your sweet tooth. I'm already planning a lunch trip in the near future.

Lunch and dinner options include burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups, chicken tenders, quesadillas and wings. Most options range between $5 - 8, with a few options up to $16. Henderson's is very budget friendly. Service is pleasant and swift. We ordered a burger and a Philly style Cheesesteak. You order at the counter and they call you when your meal is ready to be picked up. Both were served with crinkle cut fries. I put in an appetizer order for cheese curds right away, knowing I wanted to try them- but when you order appetizers, service slows. They don't take your order for regular food right away. Meanwhile, bathroom situation here is one stall rooms. AKA- one at a time- that was a little brutal. Cheese curds were phenominal- only better I've had were in Milwaukee! Food was ordered and it took forever and a day- my poor niece didn't get her food till everyone was finished eating. She actually left and stood in line for the bathroom to avoid watching us all eat. The burgers that hit the table- huge, juicy and cheesey. The charcuterie board- spectacular! The bowl of soup huge and filling. Our cheesesteak- bread and a ton of cheese and over cooked meat that didn't meet the ratio of meat-bread-cheese. For a very small, curated menu- I expected everything to be delicious. I was genuinely sad that our meal failed. And the wait on Addy's lunch was unacceptable.
