Which I had to pay at the time of service. After the second visit I was hit with another bill for $450. I was told that the insurance company rejected the claim. The insurance company said the dentist was out of network and would not be paid. This should have been made clear from the first call but I was assured that this service would be covered at 80%. I called and agreed to payments and actually sent the full amount within a month of the bill. 1 week later I received a notice from a collection agency. The letters had crossed in the mail and everything was paid but I refuse to use any service provider that sends me to collection due to a misunderstanding between them and an insurance company.

I have used Cornerstone for several years for my interim cleaning. However, after their unprofessional treatment this year, I am done with them! Last summer, their hygienist told me that I needed a "deep cleaning", because I had gum disease. She stated that this deep-cleaning would require several one-hour visits to complete, costing several hundred dollars! I refused. And when I had my regular Phoenix dentist examine me later, he told me that my gums were fine, and that I had no need for a deep-cleaning. This year, I had made a regular teeth cleaning appointment four months ago with Cornerstone. Two days before my appointment, a hygienist called me to inform me that she would only do the teeth cleaning if I had a full set of X-Rays prior to the cleaning! I found another dentist. This is a money-grab dental clinic. Find another dentist in Missoula!

I love the gentle humor of the staff and being treated like a friend. I have never had a dentist I was happy to go to until now. Dr. Duke is very knowledgeable and compassionate as is his staff. Plus they LISTEN to you. The atmosphere is very relaxed and unstressful. Everything is explained thoroughly and plans of care with the cost estimates are printed out and given to you so you have a reference to go to. For a large plan of care, it is also broken down into individual appointments so you know what happens during each one and when. You will always know what to expect.
