They always leave happy as well and then the take a nice long rest when they get home , which makes my life ten times easier. Taking my dogs here gives me and my daughter a well balanced life with free time, while giving my dogs a big place to play and exercise. I actually made sure to brush her body before the appointment and again, without even touching her hair you guys decided she was unable to get a cut only based off knowing it's been 3 months. The only option I was given was she needs to be shaved, to which I responded please don't shave her too short because what else was I supposed to say since I was being told NO when I asked for a cut only. You're contradicting yourself because those who have this type of a dog will know the one place that gets most tangled is by the face which is the only place she got a cut!! So yes, you're capable to cut when she has tangles.

I have an older cat who was taken care of by close friends when we traveled. But when they had their third child, we didn't want to saddle them with our cat. And our cat's terror of vets made boarding out of the question. We saw the ad for Fat Cat in the local village newsletter, interviewed her over the phone and had our new sitter. That was a few years ago now and we could not be happier. Now, even if we're only away for a weekend, we'll have her stop by, and when we get home - short trip or long - our cat is so much more relaxed and we're forgiven for our abandonment much more quickly. Unless you have a cat, you can't really appreciate the power of feline disdain. Of kitty contempt. Having a pet sitter we can trust utterly, who spends time hanging with our senior pet, and who definitely makes a difference we can see when we get home is priceless. And as that goes, price-wise, I'm paying on par with what I paid before I moved here, which is more than reasonable. Don't settle for someone who doesn't come with a pet sitting pedigree: The woman who runs - who is - Fat Cat is insured, she has a long history in the same business in my area, and she has a network of long time sitters she works with for coverage if she's unavailable for any part of our sitting term. And it's rare that she's ever unavailable. In all the years we've worked with Fat Cat, that's only happened once, and the woman who covered did an equally great job with our pet, and she had an equally strong reputation and history. When you're giving someone responsibility for you pet AND access to your home while you're away, trust is the most important factor. Despite being anxious people, we have no reservations about Fat Cat Pet Sitters and only the highest praise.

When I found Fat Cat Pet Sitters (pretty close to me) and spoke to Meryl, I just knew I found someone who will look after my furbabies. We talked few times on the phone, arranged a meeting, she came over and we were able to discuss everything and anything. While we were away, she would message me every two, three days about the cats (I have 3), just to let me know what they've been up to, she'll send you photos, bring mail in, play with them little. I was truly able to enjoy my trip knowing she was looking after them. I will be using Meryl in the future when we travel again. You can just tell she loves cats and they love her back :)

In keeping with what appears to be an annual tradition, today is May 23, 2025, and I just picked up…read moremy most valued pet, Shyla, from Wiggly Tails and although I missed her terribly, I know she's in great, loving hands at Wiggly Tails! It's a wonderful place for dogs! You can see that everyone who works there loves dogs and really cares about them. I have been taking Shyla here for day care for several years, and I board her there when necessary. I wouldn't trust Shyla to anyone else! The place is HUGE and very clean. There are several different areas of play, both inside and outside, and a few different types of sleeping areas for overnight guests. When you board your dog you get a report card, letting you know everything you'd want to know about your dog's stay! Plus they have webcams all over the place, but I don't use them anymore. I know Shyla is in loving care, safe and happy! Wiggly Tails is where you want your dog to be! (And this is about the 3rd review I've given them in the past four years! The wonderful people who work there have become our family! And it's Shyla's second home!)

I'm sharing my very bad experience with Wiggly Tails Dog Daycare in Northbrook in hopes no one will…read moremake the same mistake I did. I will not be going back to Wiggly Tails after a second, and this time horrific, biting incident resulting in severe injuries to my dog, the defenseless, kind and loyal Bailey. I apologize for sharing these horrific pictures, but I do not want any other unsuspecting owners to land themselves in the position that my dog and I are in. The photos are after my dog was cleaned up. It was much worse, looking infected. I'm heartbroken and mentally exhausted. I gave them a second chance the first time and I was assured it wouldn't happen again. The first time, I didn't post anything and I was asked to give them a second chance. I'm not sure why they neglected my dog to allow it to happen. There should have been some supervision to avoid this. The facility refuses to share surveillance tapes of the injuries. I gave them an opportunity for explanation and was told "We can't guarantee this won't happen again". Why not? Is Wiggly Tails staff extensively trained? Is the staff trained to handle emergencies? How do they organize dogs? by size or by play style? Are "dangerous" or aggressive dogs allowed in group play? Do they let the dogs do what they want until a fight breaks out? Is the facility more concerned with revenue than safety? Doggy daycare places will tell you that they watch the dogs and stop inappropriate behavior from happening but in most cases it's either a lie or they don't intervene until it's escalated too far. Wiggly Tails were negligent in their duty of care which led to my dog getting bitten and severely injured. There is no excuse for my poor little dog to suffer like this! My poor family has to deal with the trauma of an injured dog due to an irresponsible daycare business! Irresponsible decisions were made that lead to Bailey's injuries, and I would not want this to happen to any other pet or pet parent. Please, if you are considering a dog care facility, do not take your beloved pup to Wiggly Tails. I wanted to share my story in hopes that others who see this post will share it, and perhaps other pet parents will think twice about using Wiggly Tails.

After finding Diana's business online for mail trimming for our two long haired cats, I am really…read moreconfused and disappointed in our former groomers at the salon in PetSmart. They continually claimed that they could not trim our girl Suki's nails because she was too aggressive. Instead, we had to wait until she was having procedures done at Banfield, their pet hospital, and they would cut her nails while she was under anesthesia. We took Suki and her brother Sasha to Diana and she did them both with no problem. She handled Suki easily with either my or my husband's assistance in getting her out of the carrier, and she even commented, "this is the difficult one??" We've been back many times now and each time we're in and out in minutes. Very reasonable cost too. I don't know about any of her other services (I wish she did dry hair cuts) but for regular nail trimmings, we now go every 5 weeks or so to prevent them from scratching our new hardwood floors and furniture, and we couldn't be happier.
