After I phoned the office a few times, I was refunded $600+, but my insurance provided a breakdown indicating that my refund should have been $800+. So I am still owed a refund for the remaining amount. The fact that I had to call and request the refund was further evidence for me that that trust had been removed from any rapport being built. I also explained that my bite was not corrected based on the filling that had to be drilled after the initial placement (without any nerve blocker to control discomfort). The doctor said, "you can handle it". To date my bite is not correct. Also, the night guard I was sold for $600+, I was never told how to keep it clean or much about its use. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Remove my email from any and all future mailings.

The environment is kept immaculate and very pleasant. Dr. Ch Rx takes excellent Care of his patients. He is an excellent dental health care professional and I look forward to ONLY seeing him annually as I will work more diligently on my oral hygiene habits. Since I recently got braces I've been visiting Vibrant Smiles monthly and I get an opportunity to observe on a monthly basis and I am even more impressed with Operations. Brandy is very patient with me when I have to reschedule and accommodating as much as possible when I am late. I am particularly impressed with how well the veteran staff works with the new staff and dental assistant interns. While there may be some technical challenges, because they are learning on the job, they are very patient with each other. This prompts me to be patient and understanding because everybody deserves the chance to learn. UPDATE: I appreciate the "new" front office staffers, Kelsie and Giselle they are such a great fit. I came in with a challenge with my bite and requested to see Tiera and they were so accommodating. Tiera carefully and gently met my needs. She managed my anxiety and reassured me through her professionalism and skill. Thank you Dr. Rainford for hiring such an excellent group of individuals. You all take great care of me and my family.

I had a root canal about five years ago and three years ago the tooth woke me up with a searing,…read moreelectrifying, throbbing pain, that spread to the entire right side of my mouth. I went to a dentist who gave me antibiotics and told me I could either have the tooth extracted or see if the pain subsides and if it does do nothing for now. The pain went away and did not come back for three years until two weeks ago, the same pain. I went to my dentist and she said that maybe the tooth was cracked or the dentist who did the root canal didn't remove all of the canals. She recommended I have the tooth extracted and get an implant, this came up to about $5,000. I told a co-worker about my situation and she recommended that I get a second opinion and referred me to her dentist Gary L. Johnson. I was able to get an early morning appointment the next day! The entire staff was extremely friendly. Dr. Johnson examined my tooth and offered two options, one get a 360 degree x-ray of my tooth to have the best view of its condition and if the Endodontist recommends it, have the tooth retreated or go ahead and have the tooth extracted, get an implant, and be done with it. Dr. Johnson referred me to Drs. Navid Akbar and Elias Haddad. After the 360 degree x-ray it was determined that the retreatment had an 80% chance of success and if I did the retreatment the dentist could get a better view of the condition of the tooth, i.e is it cracked. The dentist let me know that even after the retreatment there was a chance the tooth could become re-infected and at that time the only option would be to have the tooth extracted and replaced with an implant. I decided to do the most conservative and least expensive option first (360 degree e-ray, root canal retreatment, and crown came to about $1,100). The doctor said the procedure went great! Hopefully this will be the end of it. However, if a few years from now the tooth becomes re-infected and I have to have it removed I am still glad that I had a more conservative option I could take first. I don't want to lose any of my teeth even if I can get an implant. I am so thankful to Dr. Johnson because he gave me options to try that left the most radical thing as a last resort. He is also very friendly. The two weeks prior to seeing Dr. Johnson were very scary because I was in pain, I was in the process of moving, I had a lot of work to do, and I didn't want to have my tooth extracted, but I didn't think there was any other option. Thank you Dr. Johnson.

Before any procedure, I asked Dr. Lola Oh twice if she used--or knew how to use--Biodentine. It is the best liner, bio-base, and direct or indirect pulp-capping agent made of pure tricalcium silicate! She replied, "Yes, we use it; we use Biobase." That was her answer both times I asked before treatment began. She finished the restoration on that tooth. Two weeks later, I felt sensitivity and discomfort when chewing. I went back to see her and asked what type of "Biobase" she had used on my tooth--what the name of the Biobase was. She replied: GLUMA Desensitizer THIS MATERIAL IS NOT A BIOBASE, AND IT WAS NOT THE MATERIAL I ASKED HER TO PUT IN MY TOOTH FROM THE START!!!!!!!! GLUMA Desensitizer does not form a bridge of new dentin!! It does not have compressive strength similar to natural dentin; that is why the pressure and chewing forces irritated the dentinal tubules. Biodentine has a modulus of elasticity similar to natural dentin, so it distributes loads in a more physiological way. GLUMA Desensitizer is not a restorative material AND HAS LESS BIOCOMPATIBILITY THAN BIODENTINE!! Furthermore, GLUMA Desensitizer forms an extremely thin layer. Biodentine can offer a more stable and biological seal, especially in deep cavities, because it not only seals but also promotes the repair of dentin tissue. BUT THIS DENTIST DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THAT MATERIAL; SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT. Stay away from dishonest, "old-school" dentists who don't use bioceramics for pulp protection! Thank goodness I found another dentist on Buford Highway who actually used Biodentine and universal adhesives! Thankfully, I didn't need a root canal. My advice: Stay away from Cobb Dentistry--they lie and use low-quality dental materials to boost their profit margins.

The other 'issue' is that they don't offer gas for patients that don't like needles for procedures. They are hard to reach by phone. Most times I'm calling back to back or leaving a voicemail. Also, if you have an issue with your bill (which I did), they are not customer service friendly in that regard. The person they have handling the financial aspect of billing works remote in another state. I was told that they had to check with her but didn't know when she would respond to them and/or when she would get to resolving my issue. I was fine with that, twenty plus minutes still waiting. I finally ask again and it's like deer in the headlights. So I said I'll just reschedule as I have been here for a few minutes shy of a hr and I'm sitting outside waiting. The dentist was aware of the delay, the staff was aware of the delay and nothing was said until I approached the desk to inquire. The kicker was two of the three people who came after 11 were seen before me. This is totally inappropriate, no type of options were given due to the inconvenience.
