It was a pleasant surprise to find a good Japanese restaurant inside Manila Polo Club. I really usually do not find a reason to be at the Club, or even the Dasmarinas area in general (hence my initial cluelessness), but I found myself in this Japanese restaurant one random night to accompany some friends. Everything that we ordered had good quality, from the sashimi and sushi, to the tempura. The fresh selection was relatively good, with uni (sea urchin) and ikura (salmon roe) on the menu. Boy, did those orders put a smile on my face that evening. The service was top-notch, and the ambiance was nice and classy. The prices, however, I found a tad bit steep for the usual Japanese meal (well duh, Marco, you're at Manila Polo Club).
