The problems occurred with the people at the registration desks. They were not polite or helpful either time that I went. The first time was this past Monday when I went for an mri. The information I thought I needed was in my purse but when I first entered the building, I was told I didn't need it. The registration clerk said I couldn't go forward with the mri because I didn't have the right information. She was snarky and impolite and finally someone else came over and said that what I had thought I didn't need, I needed to enroll for the mri. I want to be clear, the mri technicians were wonderful and kind. I have had the experience many times of an mri, so I know it is never easy or fun. The following day I was scheduled to have a mammo, and again the woman at the registration desk was not helpful and seemed to have a bad attitude. The problem this time was that the original script was from an oncologist I was no longer seeing. The registration clerk was not helpful in trying to get the new doctor at Tunnell to write a new script and send it to the registration desk so I could get the mammo. She was so rude that I simply got up, took what papers I had, and walked out. The training for registrations clerks should be critical in making them understand that people who are coming for tests, treatments, etc. usually have a medical condition and paramount to everything else, kindness, courteousness, and helpfulness is most important. I apologize for having lost it both days. It's not in my nature to be rude but I simply can't understand what is going on at Beebe. I am high risk for a second breast cancer but I really am unsure how to proceed. Vicki Lant 12/9/21

My back had started hurting a few days before ER. I had no previous problems with my back but kept mentioning the pain including not being able to get out of bed without assistance. They may have done a catscan but dont really remember. Nothing was ever done to figure out the pain in my back. I was released after 4 days and sent on my way with no results. I followed up with my primary Beebe doctor and was told it was this or that again no answers and maybe another catscan. I went to Beebe ER 2 additional times to no avail. The pain was excrutiating. They evidently do no MRIs in ER unless it was brain. That is what they told me. I ended up getting a referral to pain management doctor and was seen 3 or 4 weeks later. I requested an MRI and he was nice enough to refer me. Went for MRI and followed up with doctor again weeks later. I ended up having a very fast spreading bacteria infection in my thoracic spine 2 verebrae. I needed surgery immediately. I just wonder why this could not have been discovered back in late october. Instead I went to Johns Hopkins and had 2 emergency surgeries. January and March. I now have 2 rods, many screws and a cage in my thoracic spine. It has taken me 5 1/2 months and Im finally close to walking again. Spent 70 days in inpatient rehab and now continuing with outpatient rehab. If only they took steps when I first brought up the back pain back in October 2025. manag

I saw Dr. Perrin as a child for allergy treatment (cats, dust, mold, stuffed animals, etc.). From a very young age, this practice was one of the places where I felt the most unsafe and uncomfortable. Most visits with the doctor left me feeling uncomfortable and uneasy. The way Dr. Perrin looked at me and interacted with me felt creepy and inappropriate. He frequently touched my ears, earrings, hair, neck, rubbed my shoes, and feet in ways that did not feel medically necessary. During allergy shots or examinations, he often insisted that I remove my shirt so he could "check my posture," despite me insisting that posture checks were already being evaluated at my school. There was another time I had to complete a fitness test. You run in circles behind the office. Most of the patients would complete it and come back in, get set up to a machine. But for mine, he would watch me run for the entire 10-15 minutes. Watching and smiling. He'd also insist to clean my ears and rub them. These requests happened repeatedly. I regularly complained and expressed discomfort, and I hated going to appointments. I often begged my mother or a nurse to come into the room with me because I did not want to be alone with him. At the time, my concerns were brushed off because he was a doctor and considered a professional. And her friends said he's great and does a very thorough job. The most disturbing incident occurred when, as a 12-year-old, he told me I needed to remove all my clothes for a vaginal exam. When I questioned why an allergist would need to do this, he claimed he needed to check my hymen and said it was connected to my lungs and could be affecting my breathing. Even as a child, this logic felt weird and wrong. I became extremely upset, refused, and cried to my mother. Looking back as an adult, I now understand how inappropriate and frightening these experiences were. No child should feel confused, scared, or unsafe during medical care. If that is constantly the case, look at the doctor, not the child. After the Olympic doctor scandal, I wanted to do something, but I never did. I was relieved to learn that this practice is now closed and that Dr. Perrin has since retired. My heart goes out to anyone else who may have had similar experiences. I hope this review helps others feel less alone and reminds parents and patients to listen to that inner voice when something doesn't feel right. I hope I was an exception and not the rule. I release and let go of this.

Medical Aid of Long Neck Review…read more If I could give zero stars I would do so. On Monday, December 2, 2019, I drove myself to the Medical Aid Clinic in Long Neck, Delaware. I had a sizable cyst on my back and the pain was getting unbearable. I thought a visit to the clinic would be faster and more efficient than sitting for several hours in the emergency room. There was no car out front other than perhaps the staff and no patients in the waiting room. This should have been my first clue. After completing all the paperwork and handing it to the front desk clerk, I sat down to await seeing the doctor. After a period of time a woman came out from the back, and asked me about my cyst. Without even seeing it, after I explained it to her, all she could say was, "I don't think the doctor can handle that." "Really, what did she go to school for, basket weaving?" The doctor did not even take a look at me to see what the problem was. I was diagnosed, as I stood in the waiting room. No patients and it took them 35 minutes to address me and then they could not even help my problem. So, after traveling all the way from Seaford to Long Neck, I returned home untreated. I should have gone to Nanticoke. I would NOT go here again under any circumstances, either the medical professionals do not know what they are doing or they are lazy. From what I can gather from other reviews, they charge excessively for co-pay and perhaps once they saw my military ID Card, they figured they cannot squeeze the government for those overcharged rates.

They told me that my insurance was inactive. I work for a big company and we had just renewed. They weren't going to see me without me paying $125. I wasn't going to pay since I have active insurance. I got the insurance company on the phone. Even after they told them I was good they were going to have me pay!! Finally the "supervisor" agreed to just submit it. The MA who did my vitals didn't even clean her hands. When the doctor came in she never even introduced herself. I got what I needed. I was supposed to be called with some results. This was a Friday. The doctor told me by Monday. I called Monday to be told it would be a couple more days. I NEVER got called. I finally called over a week later. The guy in the phone seemed unsure of what he was doing but I finally got my result and asked them to send it to my doctor. I will NEVER go back there again. I cannot recommend them at all. I was desperate and it wasn't life threatening. I'm in the medical field and say this place should be looked at a little closer.
