Less than 48 hours in advance we were able to get all 20 chairs and 8 umbrellas with the online reservation process. They called the next morning to confirm. We arrived right at their opening on a busy Saturday and everything was ready to be loaded to our vehicle. Upon returning everything was still pretty sandy but they were ok with this as they hose everything upon arrival. Great experience and would definitely do it again.

The selection of clothing and baby items clearly shows that the owner has done her research! You won't find any cheap plastic junk in this store, only items that were responsibly designed and produced and that are known to last. Prices are very reasonable too! I was expecting to pay "island tax" (the extra cost associated with bringing merchandise over to an island) but the prices were the same or comparable to what you would pay for the same item online. And with their fall sale (everything is 35 - 50%), everything is a total bargain right now. As an island native, I haven't had the need to rent baby equipment or use their other services so this review is exclusively based on the retail store, but based on the selection and the customer service I received from 2 different employees and the owner, I would highly recommend their services to any friends that are visiting the island and want to travel light. Lastly, my baby shower was last weekend, and it was very clear who shopped where! The gifts from Petite Travelers were the envy of the other mothers and passed around the most :) Some of the favorites included organic crib sheets, a Brio dachshund pull toy, a beautiful collapsible toy chest with a whale on it, and a handknit baseball rattle from Peru. The delivery people were the same both times and they are very nice and super tidy. This last time the nightstand was backordered which was no big deal but then after the delivery guys left I realized that the dresser had loose joints and was damaged on one of the drawers. I wrote an email to baby beaudoir and the manufacturer to tell them about the defects, complete with pictures. The manufacturer wrote back that they would not replace the furniture and just send parts! This would be pretty difficult since the entire side panel needed to be better assembled. Before I could even respond, baby beaudoir wrote back that they would be replacing the entire thing at no cost. At 8 months pregnant this was a HUGE relief! Due to weather and delays, the dresser replacement did not arrive until after my baby's arrival but again, the delivery men were so kind and careful, there were no issues! The store also had great communication to tell me when it would arrive. I will make sure to recommend this business to anyone who is expecting!
