When I called he says his milling machine is broken and he can take them to his buddy's to do them. I say let's get them done. Another week later they are finally ready. He charges me $335. This is a $150 to $200 job at any other shop. When I questions the bill he says they charge hourly. I think all he did was take them to another shop and double charge me. I will never step foot in that place again and bad mouth them any time I get the chance.

Monday i get a call saying it's ready. Tuesday i pick up. They want $65 plus tax. I scoff stating i was quoted $40. I get a response something along the lines of "Well it's $65, so unless you want to leave it here...". The gasket surfaces weren't clean. There was still a bit of grease embedded in the casting. I asked why it wasn't very clean, and they said "Well you can't put it in the hot tank." (No sh!t, A{}hole, it's caustic to aluminum, this isn't my first rodeo, i used to work in a machine shop). Apparently they don't even have a jet/steam cabinet and they WASHED IT IN THE SOLVENT TANK, or so they said. I got it home, cleaned up the mating surfaces, blew it out with the compressor and found glass bead (sand) all throughout the lifter bores and oil galleys. They didn't bead blast it, nor did I ask them to. It should not have had ANYTHING in it and should have been in a bag. Not sitting out on a stool in the open like it was when i went to pick up. The men that work here are not men at all. They are scoundrels that should not be trusted. They do shoddy work. Check google, they have many awful reviews. I hope the business goes under soon, because it's a waste of space. This experience with Jim Green's was more of a barometer to see what kind of work they do, as i do a lot of work on mitsubishi performance vehicles for myself and others. They'll not ever see my face in their shop again, let alone a penny from my coffers. I actually contemplated taking this particular head to the car wash and blasting it off because it wasn't even all that filthy. Customer lost a timing belt and some exhaust valves got bent. No cracked guides, and everything else checks out, so I just wanted to be working with clean parts, not throwing it together with grime and grit all getting in the way. I should have taken it to the car wash. I would have saved about $60 and whole lot of frustration. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CLOWNS FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER!!

I dropped my 22 ft boat and trailer March 3, 2025 to have the boat trailer brakes checked and…read morebearings repacked and replaced if needed. A few days later it was ready and I paid $700.00 and thought I was getting a great deal. I used the boat only a few times locally at Edmonds and Everett. Only a 50 mile round trip one way. Then drove up Vancouver Island for a week and then towed it to Port Alberni and home. This September when I returned, I was trailering the boat to Edmonds Marina and saw smoke coming from the front wheel. I called Kenny's Truck parts and told them my problem and that I was stranded. They took no responsibility even when I paid them a visit the next day. I limped the boat to Les Schwab in Kenmore and they were more than happy to help. After diagnosis, the trailer needed an entire new spindle, bearings and brakes and the spindle arm replaced. When Les Schwab realized the spindle arm was welded in, and recommended me to 3 Rivers Marina. I was treated well by both businesses. Maybe this message can help someone else!
