I LOVE THESE PEOPLE. They are knowledgeable and practically family after getting parts all these years. I know of many local companies who chose to get their parts from here as well, because you're going to get the right part the FIRST time. The owner is a fantastic person; who does his part to help the whole community any chance he gets. I ordered a part and they typed in manual instead of automatic when doing the search in their system, so once I got home and got my old part out, I realized that it was the wrong part. So I had to then call them back and have the guy tell me "Nah...that's just how those parts are, it may not look exactly like the one that was in your car as they are designed to fit many models of cars". So I go back to my car, and sanity check myself that NO, it is not the right part. It was then that I called back and we figured out the problem. Okay, no problem...one error that anyone could do. It was a little frustrating to finish removing all of the parts of my car and wait another day to complete the repair, but I understand these types of things happen. So then I go back the next day to pick up my new (correct) part and also turn in my core for the rebate (if you don't know, you get money back if you bring in your old part) and I ask them "Do you just give me cash for the part or does it go back on the card?" and they told me that it will go back on the card and according to the receipt it has already been handled. I thought this was a little strange as I had not brought in the core until that minute, so I was confused as to how it was "already handled", but I rolled with it. After waiting 3-5 business days, I still saw nothing in my bank and called to check on this. As I suspected, they had no record of processing the rebate at all and I needed to come back in to reswipe my card and get that money back. After that, I still had to wait an additional 3-5 days for the money to get in my account. I am a very patient person, I took all of these as simple mistakes, but as I am reviewing this place I still have to document them and express that while I understand that mistakes happen, I didn't have a pleasant experience with this personally. It was a LOT of back and forth with them on the phone and I just don't have time for all of that. And at the end of the day, all I got was a "Ah, yeah...sorry, man, haha". So, in conclusion the part is fine and the price was acceptable, but they need to drink a little more coffee or something because these mistakes don't need to happen for a first time customer on a first time visit. Lucky to have such a quality parts store in Monroe. Honest men with substantial knowledge and experience. Answering any and all questions about their inventory while making great recommendations. I would rather write positive reviews. So it's a drag that I have to be negative about this store. The folks at the Monroe NAPA were pushy and rude, both on the phone and in the store. I tried to tell an employee the exact part number I wanted, but he kept cutting me off before I could finish. He then handed me off to the manager. I stayed calm and receptive, but the manager *also* kept cutting me off, assuming he knew what I would say next. Even after I asked him to let me finish speaking. Neither person would let me finish reciting a 7-digit part number, though the final digits were in fact different than what they were expecting to hear. I tried at least 4 times. And yes, it was a NAPA part number; I was reading it directly from the NAPA website. Later that day I walked into the store, hoping to have a better experience face to face. No such luck. The manager was openly disdainful of the corporate website, and though he let me finish reading off the part number I wanted, tried hard to sell me another part that cost quite a bit more. All in all, an unpleasant experience, which is a shame. I'm new to Monroe and while I am not a professional mechanic, I do regularly buy auto parts and supplies. In the future I will prefer a competing store a few blocks away, or the Duvall NAPA instead. I know the Duvall NAPA employees are polite enough to avoid the rudeness of constantly interrupting their customers. read more

Great store, lots of product and staff was knowledgeable so getting the right part was easy. I would shop here again.
