I shop here almost exclusively now for chainsaws, trimmers, pumps, and other commercial-quality equipment. Yes, the prices are a little higher than at the box stores, but they carry stuff in a whole 'nother league. This is COMMERCIAL-QUALITY stuff for people that actually use their equipment on a scale beyond the average homeowner. Of course, if a homeowner is quality-minded, yeah, shop here. They do a pretty good job of sharpening chains too, and overnight service which is great. They could put a slightly finer grinder on and make sure the cutting edge is sharper... I would pay a little more, like $15 instead of $12.50 for more QC. One more little thing, I wish they carried 4-stroke gas too, running the 2-stroke mix in my 4-stroke engines works, but is a tad stinky. read more

I never go in this store anymore after the way I was treated a while ago. Rude clerks, arrogant attitude and not honoring a verbal agreement regarding repair parts ordered for my Honda generator. I usually support independent stores rather then big boxes.. but feel these guys are disorganize & are history for me as an customer .Try leaving a power tool there for repairs good luck might be lucky if it's repaired in a month plus no communication from them the item is finally ready. Their inventory for parts I most say is impressive however services are the chitys! read more

This place is a joke. Nice products, horrible staff. I was told labor fees are $120/hr, seriously? Heavy equipment mechanic's don't even charge that much. Their business is not service and repairs, they should just cancel the program. read more

Went in there not to long ago with my leaf blower that I could not get started. The man with the pony tail told me it would be 4 months before they could even look at it! I tried to buy a line trimmer there and keep my business local, even though I found the same trimmer for $50 less online with free shipping and no tax. The clerk wouldn't budge from full retail. I asked if there was anything he could do, I'd even just take it in the box and he wouldn't even have to assemble it or anything. No dice. I believe in keeping my money in my town and I also believe in value added service. I worked in a similar type of retail business and even though we couldn't compete with Wal-Mart or Target, we had good customer service and we could always take 5-10% off. I even asked if he could throw in some trimmer line with purchase at full price, but no deal. Their cost would have been about $3. I can't justify paying 20% more plus tax to keep these guys in business. read more

Have to say you do pay a premium on equipment here but they are there for you when there is a problem. I had a Oregon Electric blower battery issue and they made sure that they were promptly replaced under warranty. Have also had issues with a Stilh blower in the past that they promptly serviced. Have to get past the harsh bedside manner of there customer service style but they deliver all business. read more

The people running this company are a joke. We dropped off a chainsaw for a tune-up. Over six weeks later, they still did not get it done. Every time I called, they gave a lame excuse and promised their mechanic would look at and would give me a call. Guess what - no phone call and when I was able to contact them, just another lie. Overall just rude employees. They give you some crazy timeline to fix your equipment because they want you to buy their products - then they'll fix it faster. Go to Aloha in Vallejo or Fairfield. Much better folks. read more

don't know of if its the owner or the owner son but very unprofessional, I go in there often to get parts to fix my friends power equipment and out of no where they start asking me that I need to show proof of where I worked and if I didn't that I wouldnt be able to shop any more equipment there because I was poching there clients? wtf mind you that im Hispanic and I never once ever saw them ask any one eles where they worked or proof of what company, have stopped going there ever since the incident took place read more

Sharpened my chainsaw chain for $12.50. Pretty reasonable price. It is $30 if you leave the chain on the chainsaw, but $12.50 if you take it off. Good shop. read more

11-17-2012 I have tried when in need of service on my personal equipment, husky- chain saw, tru-cut-mower, stihl- blower and have been told I needed new equipment because they would not work on my stuff. All of the power tools I own are commercial grade. I ask why they would not work on my stuff and the employee and the owner tried to use small engine repair lingo/verbage to make it sound like the tools were worn out. All this with almost no personality on there part. The truth is I was a 20 year owner operator of a landscape maintenance company in Arizona and I know they were at the very least not honest. When confronted with my knowledge the owner turned and left his employee alone to look foolish and humiliated. In the 5 years I've lived in Napa many people speak of the same experience and total lack of personality. I have found a small company with 30 plus years in business in Vallejo ( ALOHA SMALL ENGINE REPAIR ) that is great to work with. By the way all of the work needed on the above tools was done by ALOHA for less than $200.00 compared to about $2500.00 for new equipment off the floor of NAPA POWER EQUIPMENT. read more
