He didn't even acknowledge me. Talked to her and then said I'm sorry my hands are tied the policies 15 minutes. He didn't even listen to what I had to say. Honestly, that's just poor customer service. I'll always go to Lowe's for now on firsthand. Don't fall for the in-store credit scam. Also watch out for the manager Gavin he sucks! They have lots of healthy looking plants in the clearance section! They actually water their plants. Most of the time it just seems to be making room for new arrivals. The associate calls it "the happy shelf". The employees I've interacted with have been great too! The gardening section people are nice to talk to. They actually also garden and so can tell you tips or about their own experiences. The nice thing about their plants is they have a one year guarantee. So if they die you can get a replacement or refund. I think all of the plants I've bought from Lowe's have survived so far. I can't say the same for the big orange competitor. Tip: If you're buying mulch you can simply tell the gardening register person and pull your car up to the curb for assistance. No need to load and push around a heavy cart yourself! When I went into the main store two associates helped me find a tape measurer. That's without me flagging someone down for help. The prices also seem to be fair and they often have good sales. I bought major appliances here after comparing with a couple other stores. Delivery and install was good even though it's contracted out.

When confronted with some impossible to eradicate mold, I suddenly realized I needed a drill brush. And since my current drill is a little too expensive to risk shorting out, I needed an inexpensive drill. So I quickly turn to the Harbor Freight app and priced the purchase. I was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea you could buy a drill for 15 bucks. And I've priced drill brushes before, and the package at Harbor Freight was approximately half the price of what I expected. Now the store is meticulously labeled, making it trivially easy to find what you're looking for. Unfortunately the drills and the drills accessories occupied and inordinately large amount of space. Luckily the harbor freight app clearly listed that both items were located on aisle one. It was just a matter of scanning every item to find the ones I wanted. I was pretty astonished by the array of tools. I spotted a few items on my wish list, but I managed to refrain. All in all my trip was quick and pleasant. I had a nice little chat with the security guard who seemed very friendly and was obviously bored with the lack of crime in the store. Check out was quick and efficient except for the coupons. I needed help at the register to figure out how to clip them.

The security guard watched my husband's newly purchased items while he joined me in the search for what he was looking for which was very nice. It's weird because after visiting the store in San Rafael ages ago and making a big purchase, my husband said that everything he bought was cheap and complained. And yet, like a lemming running to a ledge, every time we see one of these he wants to stop. I still don't know why. But, I think he's more careful about his purchases which means that he's learned something.
