She asks you a series of questions and checks your pulse and tongue, a traditional chinese technique. She answered all of my questions and put me at ease and has educated me on acupuncture. I just had major surgery to have stage 4 endometriosis removed from multiple organs. I even had my appendix removed during the extensive abdominal surgery. She seemed uninterested in my post-operative report. My insurance company dropped me two days before the surgery and she yelled at me to stop crying and told me to get insurance. I did, & then her office was very rude to me over the phone & they didn't even call to confirm my appointment beforehand. I have over 20 years of medical trauma from being misdiagnosed with depression and anxiety when in reality I have had one of the most painful conditions. Dr. Weisbein's demeanor completely changed when her next patient (an older male) walked in and she quickly changed her tone and said, "hello my love!" to him. Bottom line- ladies!!! Don't go to this woman. She's mean. *I almost forgot to mention, when I told her I was in a car accident, she said it was against her policy to talk about more than one injury at a time. *Go to Dr. Eric Grigsby or Dr Melanie Johansson if you need real help and you are a woman. I got on this site and read some of these reviews and was shocked! I have lot's of plastic surgeon friends here in Marin, but all of them were twice as expensive! (literally double!) I looked at their reviews here too, some were absolutely horrifying as well!! It frightened me to death...so I waited. Then, I noticed, after several months, once my friends joined Yelp and starting paying the monthly advertising fee, their reviews, (at least the one's that show) were suddenly glowing. Dr. McClure is very established and doesn't feel he needs to be a member of Yelp, nor does he pay the fees. Hmmmm, just sayin' don't believe everything you read! So, I decided to trust my friend and my gut and proceed with Dr. McClure. I couldn't be more pleased and happy!! Not only is my turkey neck gone, but I had a bump on my head for many years that Dr. McClure removed, free! Dr. McClure asked me to follow up about a month after surgery, then a year after. At the 1 year mark I noticed a very small bump. No one even noticed, besides myself. I showed it to Dr. McClure and he said, that's easy to fix, we can do it in 15 minutes without anesthesia and I'll do it for free. I scheduled an appointment. While fixing the tiny bump, he noticed a small portion of my scar hadn't healed to his liking. (I didn't see anything) So, he fixed that too, again, for free. As I was thanking him, (btw, my scars are almost undetectable!!) he said, "I tend to be a perfectionist, if I see something I fix it, even if my patients can't afford it. If I feel it really should be done, I simply include it free". Dr. McClure is an excellent surgeon and truly a very kind man. He volunteers his surgery skills, (several months a year) all over the world, fixing untold horrific scars, cleft pallets and burns. I'd recommend Dr. McClure HIGHLY to anyone that needs plastic surgery. Save yourself some money and come to beautiful Napa. You'll be glad you did...

My Mom died and left me some money and I think the best way to honor her is to think about her every time I look in the mirror! So, I'd been thinking about going to Dr Zimmerman who was referred by a friend as the most skilled plastic surgeon in the area, for some other procedures. Then I broke my nose and that surgery will have to come first. Charlene was so kind when I called for my appointment and expediently sent by email the office paperwork so I could complete it before the appt. At the office I met Lynn the doctor's office and surgery assistant. She was amazing. She told me allot about their practice and the procedure I was being evaluated for, Rhinoplasty. Very kind! Both she and Charlene. Then the doctor came in and I could now see why they were so awesome - because HE is!! He never once spoke down to me. He explained the procedure but not is any frightening terms (like my healthplan - who were trying to scare me from even wanting something done) but was always gently, respectful, kind, explanatory. When the staff gave me the bid for this surgery, he told me he felt the insurance should be paying for this. Told me he knew someone he could call who might be able to see me and impart the importance of my needs to the healthplan! I ask you, Is that not the most amazing? What doctor is ever that caring and selfless these days? But, I would want Dr Zimmerman to do any plastic procedure on me, so I will try to get my healthplan to refer to him as the specialist in his field that NONE of their doctors are, so that he can do my surgery and get it paid for. I hope and pray this might work. As for you all reading this, go to Dr Zimmerman! He has excellent bedside manner. Hes been in the plastic surgery arena for many years and as such has the experience others don't and he thinks in terms of how your body will heal and how it will look when healed!
