So fun! If you are looking for something different to do this is the activity. We went to the 9am group and it was just the 4 of us and the tour guide. The tour guides are ran by a mother and son. We had the son, James. He took us to 4-5 different places known by locals and let me tell you, lines were out the door for these places. We tried one thing off the menu that was chosen by the tour guides. I was skeptical because I'm picky when it comes to food but everything was so good. The segways were so fun too. This was a nice guided tour of the small downtown area of Napa. The guide showed up on time and showed us some safety features of the segways, then had us practice balancing, moving in different directions, and stopping. We went on a 2.5 hour ride atipping at different picturesque and historical areas. We stopped at a local store where we got to sample some of their fare. I would've given this a 5 if the segways were in better condition. They were a bit rundown. All in all, a nice, fun experience. read more

So much fun and so worth the experience. Gail was our tour guide and it just happened to be the four of us on this particular Sunday Morning tour. My sister and brother-in-law (25th wedding anniversary) and our 19th Anniversary. Met up with her at 1000 at the park and received quick lessons ( first time for the four of us). Gail was so great , patient and provide such assuring and effective training. Our tour began at the park with fascinating stories about the 100 yr old redwood tree, Teddy Roosevelt, the Victorian Homes in the neighborhood (2nd most Victorian homes per capita in CA) and the cork tree. 1st graze experience and stop Val's Liquor Store where we try the infamous Malfadi - fascinating and wonderful story and met Mr Clemente himself! Gale is such a wonderful story teller and so much fun fascinating knowledge ! It was out of this world. 2nd stop was Model Bakery with its fun facts and stories. Had their infamous English muffin. (These are hard to get because they sell out quick) but she was able to secure hot fresh baked ones for our group! The best English muffins in the world! 3rd graze was lion roll at Eiko's Fish Market inside Oxbow Market. They sear the roll right in front of you - very dramatic! 4th graze was Kara's Cupcake in honor of our anniversaries! Then we checked out Copia to see the wonderful fork sculpture made from 10,000 forks! Then of course must try a food truck so graze 5 was the taco truck La Esperanza where we had street steak tacos - mouth watering. We heard stories of the Napa River, the Chinatown that used to be in Napa, saw beautiful murals (city commissioned artist to beautify the wine train route), and the unexpected 911 tribute park - so touching and humbling to see the actual pieces of steel and all the names. 6th graze stop was the local favorite Napa Valley Bistro where we had their beautiful and delicious empanada! 7th graze was Melted the grilled chicken waffle sandwich (American Culture Club) - they have the funkiest names for all their sandwiches! We were so stuffed that my sister and I just took a bite and asked for it to go! Came with their delicious well paired tomato soup! Special bonus stop was at Vintage Sweets where we got to choose their handcrafted chocolate/fudge. On our way we even saw one of the oldest house built that used to be an African American church, they rolled it down the neighborhood on logs to the corner of the street and became someone's residence. So many little stories and places that we'd never know about as many times we come here to Napa! Gale ended the tour back at the park with a thank you home-baked Segway cookie! She really made this such a memorable and super fun experience for us. Seriously, the food will fill you up and you will leave quite full and satisfied. Family run business. Gale's husband even came out to order and hold our table at oxbow. Gale was gr8 about making schedule adjustments and is personable. She seems to enjoy what she does and is knowledgeable about the area. Asking her questions makes the experience more rewarding. Segways were easy and fun to ride once u get over the initial awkwardness. We opted for the food and wine/chocolate tasting. The amount of food is not over filling as we thought it would be but enough. 1 person said she could have had maybe 1or 2 more things. It can get a bit chilly on the segway in the morning so a jacket is good. Considering Covid restrictions and crowds, the tour went pretty smoothly. I hope to return and try a different tour. I probably would not have tried some of the places on my own, and everything was yummy. Note: We wanted to return to la Paris to buy more of the pastries but they were sold out. We contacted Gale at the last minute to see if there was availability for "Glide and Graze" food tour the next day. Gale responded promptly and was able to accommodate our party of four. Two of our party had never ridden Segways. Our tour guide was Bob and his associate, James. We found out Bob was Gale's husband and James, their son. Bob is a Napa native and very personable. He was a wonderful tour guide. Our whole party had a terrific time and our friends fell in love with Segway riding! We went to some places we wouldn't have found on our own. We especially loved the Clemente's Malfuttis, Taco Esperanza tacos and Gamling and McDuck. We even went back to Clemente's to pick up some takeout for dinner. I do recommend you bring some water with you or you can purchase drinks with your tastings. It was a great way to explore Napa, learn a little history and find some food gems. My wife and I decided to spend our 24th anniversary in Napa. Along with the usual wine tasting we decided to do a Segway Tour. I wanted to do the History Tour but my wife said the Glide and Graze tour was only a few dollars more. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. This was the highlight of our stay. James was our tour guide and although he was shy at 1st, he came out of the shell and his stories were great! The segways took some getting used to, but after 10 mins we were good, these things were Fun! I thought I would buy one but they are as much as a Harley! James took us to about 7 places, and we got a taste of all these different types of foods, (my first time having "Malfatti" at a liquor store[?!?!], and "papusa" at a food truck!) at 1st I thought "this isn't gonna be enough", but when the tour was over we were stuffed! It is the best way to discover what the locals already know. If you go to Napa this is a must. We sure will do it again. read more

My husband and I dined at French Laundry the night before, but Napa Valley Segway Tours was the highlight of our trip!! We did the 3 hour Glide and Graze, but it should really be renamed to Glide and Stuff your Face because there is so much food, your bellies will be exploding from all the goodness. Firstly, I can't say enough about Gail. She is just so wonderful! Gail was very patient teaching me to use the segway. She wouldn't know it, that I'm usually very coordinated, but it took me a while to get used to riding the segway. But once I did, it was SO MUCH FUN! We went in the glide and grave tour with Sherry today and it was terrific. I was told in advance to be hungry and I'm glad I was. We started a Oxbow market and had breakfast pizza and bbq slide which were AWESOME!! Then we went to another 6 places for food which were all great. We took the Yountville Wine & Cheese Tour. Our guide, Russ, took us through the country roads and had great stories about the history of the area. When we got to to the wine tasting at the vineyard his explanations about the different grapes and wines also added to the tasting. The actual segway experience is SO FUN !! It's easy, it's playful, anyone can do it. You get to experience the outdoors and you ride a good distance without breaking sweat :) We had a great day! read more

This was such a fun and unique experience. Low key and just time for ourselves we thought let's do a segway napa tour for our anniversary! It was really affordable to rent segways for a couple of hours and zoom around exploring Yountville on our own. They provide free tastings at various rooms/stops...but being cheap dates we only stopped at one. We wanted to ensure we didn't get too buzzed that we couldn't operate properly and our safety compromised. LOL. Just kidding we had other wine tasting appointments later in the day that we still wanted to make it too. =) The segways were easy to operate and we got a comprehensive overview and lesson from the segway guy. He provided us a map and let us know when he expected us back and away we went. Loved looking at the cute neighborhood houses, had fun chasing after eachother down pathways and along vineyards, took a nice break at some park and just being in Napa the scenery was absolutely beautiful. It was a gorgeous fall day. If you are looking for something new to do, Segway Napa is a great date idea. The only thing we didn't like is wearing the safety vests & helmets...think mall cop but we were a funny sight to see and I'd rather be safe than sorry so oh well. read more

Gale is a gem! We had a girls' weekend in Napa and decided to give Segwaying a go. We are so glad we did! It was surprisingly easy to get the hang of it and such a fantastic way to see downtown Napa. It was raining but we didn't let that stop us. We got to visit about 7 different places for little bites to eat on the Glide and Graze tour. Everything about it was absolutely wonderful! Gale is so sweet and knowledgeable and it's clear that she puts a ton of thought into making it a great experience for her clients, it made us feel like we were with a real insider with a backstage view of the city. It was not the best experience as I was expecting. I decided to make a reservation to do the Segway tour for my other half's birthday. I was convinced by the reviews from Yelp and Facebook that it was worth booking. I booked the Glide & Graze which is about a 3 hour tour around Napa and 7 different food stops. Our tour guide was James. He had some knowledge, unsure of certain things, and also could have made it a little bit more interesting and fun during the tour. Our first stop was at a liquor store where the owner of the Depot Restaurant(Clementes authentic Italian Takeout) is now serving its Malfatti. The 2nd stop was at the Farmers market. We were taken to the Pupusa food truck and ended up having to share one Pupusa instead of having one of our own. The third stop is still at the Farmers market for a quick cookie dessert. We had about 10min time of our own to walk around before segwaying our way to the next stop. Our fourth stop was pretty random and ended up getting a taco from a taco truck on Soscol. Model Bakery was our fifth stop where we got a plain English muffin and some butter. The sixth food stop we made was at Melted. My other half and I have been here once and it is pretty good. Our last stop was at a small vintage chocolate shop on third street where we got to choose one piece of chocolate of our choice. Overall, the food stops could've been a lot better for the price of the tour. The only 2 places that were descent was the Malfatti from our first stop and Melted (waffle sandwhich). One thing to add, we were not offered water during the whole trip considering we stopped at these different places to eat. I ended up having to get us our own water. I would not recommend or take this tour again. If I could, I would've chosen a different experience more worth it. I do want to say thank you to Gale, who I spoke to regarding the reservation in notifying one of the stops that we were celebrating my other half's birthday and one of the family owner gave him a little rock souvenir with his name painted. read more

Today our family took a Segway tour to Yountville, celebrating our son's recent birthday. We were also excited it would be our daughter-in-law's first segway ride. Though we've been on many tours with Gale over the years, it was as thrilling as ever! It happened to be one of the windiest days of the year and there was a power outage, but that didn't hamper our ride in the least. The valley was beautiful and the vines were rich with fall color. Smiles, laughter and constant comments of "this is so much fun!" were voiced by all. The Yountville tour is a great choice if you like to get out on the country roads through the vineyards and and you enjoy learning local history and lore. Gale is such a fabulous tour guide. I scheduled a Yountville History Tour with a group of friends as part of a birthday celebration for myself, and we had a WONDERFUL time on this tour. Gale was incredibly professional and responsive as we made reservations for the tour, and she was very accommodating of our needs. When we arrived for the Segway tour, Gale was helpful in getting those who were new to Segways up and running, and after a few tentative circles around the park, the eight people in our party were ready to go! We had a BLAST speeding around on Segways, hearing about the history of the places we visited, and just enjoying being outside in a beautiful area on a gorgeous day. Throughout the tour, Gale snapped pictures of our group. She e-mailed these to me later, and they beautifully captured the energy and joy and excitement of the day (this was an unexpected gift, and it definitely made this trip more special). At the end of the tour, Gale left us all with a treat, and with wonderful memories. As I spoke with everyone on the tour later, it became clear that some of my friends tagged along JUST because it was my birthday. HOWEVER, everyone who went said it was the most fun they could remember having in a LONG time, and as we piled into our cars on our way to the next birthday celebration stop, we were comparing calendars for our next Segway outing. We settled on a date and already have another group tour scheduled: this time, we're taking the Segway Foodie Tour. I've just had my second adventure with Gale and Segway Napa! I had some friends visiting from Germany and I thought I would give them something they have never done before. We had such a blast. I don't know what we all enjoyed more, the wine/ history tours or simply the thrill of riding the Segway. Just like the other reviews. Gale and her team made the entire party feel safe and comfortable. We have enjoyed two tours: Historic Downtown and a winery tour in Yountville. I've been to Napa countless times and toured many wineries, but none compare to the one-on-one attention from Gale and the details, like a traveling picnic! I scheduled the "Beyond Wine Tour" as part of a birthday present for my boyfriend. The experience was great beginning with when I first contacted Segway Napa to the end of the tour. Gale was very quick to respond to emails and the registration process was easy. She was also accommodating with adjusting the start time of the tour, so that I could fit in the other activity I had planned for earlier that day. (We were the only two people signed up for that day and time slot, but it was still very kind of her to adjust her schedule to fit ours.) It was super easy to learn how to use a Segway. If you've ever gone rollerblading, you'll find using the Segway particularly easy, because you shift your body weight in a similar fashion to start and stop the Segway. I've been to downtown Napa a few times, but I still learned a lot of interesting stuff about the area. Gale is a wonderful tour guide. She used to work in the wine industry in Napa and I think that helps her provide a more unique perspective of the area. Well, this is what is was for us, the best darn tour in Napa! We had no idea of what to expect. Never being on a Segway, we thought that we would get lost in the middle of the pack, so to speak. Not this time! Bob, our tour guide, met us with smile and a twinkle of adventure in his eye. After a brief and informative orientation on the Segway, we were off to explore Napa. Bob is an excellent historian on Napa's early (1850's) to present history. We made numerous stops along Napa's old and new parts of downtown all with stories told by Bob. We just returned from another great Segway tour. This time it was a wine and cheese tasting tour in beautiful Yountville. We glided through the streets and walking trails to see the Veterans Home and the winery grounds next door. We learned a lot of local history and saw so many interesting things. We had lots of long stretches where we just glided along enjoying the beautiful houses, and then the countrysides long the way to the Goosecross Winery. We enjoyed the very tasty wines they make here, and then Gayle set out some really great cheeses for us to enjoy.
