Our tour guide Jesse was excellent and the side car was so much fun. Loved touring the city and seeing some amazing vineyards and the tasting room. It should be a bit better noted that the tasting fee is not included. It took us by surprise that we booked this tour that included a reservation for a tasting at a local tasting room, however we were required to pay separately for the tasting. Still very much worth all the miscommunication, however this could be improved. Such a highly recommended experience though for anyone in the area.

My husband and I in a sidecar in Napa for his birthday. We had the best time.

We had an awesome experience. Perfect way to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our driver Ron was the best. He knew a lot about Napa. He was a safe and a courteous driver. It was also his birthday. We had the best time.

Absolutely terrible service We pre-paid for tour, they cancelled via email due to their staff having COVID about 4 hours before tour started. Email stated they would attempt to reschedule the tour or if they couldn't then we would receive a refund. Emailed them back within 2 hours and informed them that we were available for rescheduling but we were leaving the next day. No response! Then emailed them again 10 days later asking when we could get our refund, again no response! 2 weeks later I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge, when they contacted Sidecar Tours they lied and said we had never contacted them and we had in fact been on the tour.

AMAZING! My husband surprised me for our anniversary and I had the best time! Rob was our guide. He was so fun to be around and made sure we were comfortable and had an incredible time! He took so many pictures of us! Thank you Rob! You made our trip so fun!

Mick and Ron were simply awesome. The are extremely professional and most important personable. They arrived on time and were very flexible. We each had our own side car and the ride was smooth and so enjoyable. I have been riding since I was 5 years old. I have never been the passenger on. MC. This was a treat to just sit back literally and enjoy. I felt totally safe on the German Iron horse. You can arrange your own itinerary or let Mick make the arrangements. Wine tasting, scenic tour among the vines picnic the possibilities are endless. Safety is a priority to Mick and Ron. You can tell they love what they do and it translates to a great adventure. Well done Mick and Ron I will see you again soon. Call Mick and schedule your side car tour you will not be Disappointed.

We had a great time with Ron. He was very knowledgeable of the area, seasons, and grapes. We had a great time and would definitely do it again.

Just had the pleasure of taking this tour and it was an experience we'll never forget! Our guide, Ron, was an absolute joy to spend the day with. He told us about all the interesting history of Napa Valley and took us to some of the most beautiful viewpoints of the vineyards and rolling hills. The highlight of the tour was the winery Ron introduced us to - a hidden gem we never would have discovered on our own and loved it so much we ended up buying a couple bottles! We can't recommend this tour enough and will be telling everyone we know about it!

Ron was an amazing driver last week. Very genuine individual and accommodating! We had a great time. Thank you Ron.

If you visit or live in Napa you MUST do Sidecar Tours! We had guests from Indiana and this tour knocked it out of the park for them (and us). Our drivers, Rob and Ron were great and really accommodating. We felt 100% safe too. It was such a blast for all of us and I'd go do it all over again in an heartbeat! DO THIS!

We had a great time with Ron today on our tour! We visited Vinoce which was a small winery in town. Recommend the morning tour as you get to the places early and we had the whole place to ourselves which was awesome. Ron was very informative and knew the area really well. Helmets were provided and goggles too but we had our own goggles. We loved it! Great views and wonderful weather. Highly recommend it!

    Cheers!

I had the opportunity to play tourist in my own backyard yesterday. We live in Sonoma County, but decided to do something out of the ordinary and take a tour through Sonoma with some friends via the Sidecar Tours, Inc. Our tour started outside of Sonoma at the Viansa winery. We met Mario and his other two drivers, Dave and Kelly. Mario gave us a thorough briefing of the days events, along with some safety tips and explanation of these beautiful sidecars. To be honest, a couple people in our group were a bit apprehensive about riding in the sidecars. These worries were quickly extinguished, upon seeing them close up. They're large, big enough to fit two people with ample room. A friend of ours is 6'5" and he fit comfortably with his wife. Helmets and goggles were provided as well. The ride was surprisingly smooth. Besides the scenic tour, we stopped at two wineries. The tasting fee and scheduling were included in the price. We started out our tasting at a wonderful winery, Homewood. I would never have discovered this fabulous winery if it weren't for Sidecar Tours. We were in awe at the presentation and taste of the wines offered, but that's another Yelp review. After our tasting, we took a scenic drive to the city of Sonoma, where we stopped at the picturesque city hall for some photos and learned a bit more about our guides. After this stop, we then drove to our final stop, again at Viansa. Viansa is a gorgeous setting, sitting atop a hill overlooking the plains outside Sonoma. Again, more tasting and a charcuterie board was included. Throughout our tour, we kept saying how amazing this tour was and how we want to book again. Mario, Kelly and Dave were awesome guides. They were very personable and there to help. There is also an extra package where you can get a GoPro video of your day. I received my video the next day. FYI, there is enough room in the basket, in back of the sidecars, to fit plenty of wine that you'll purchase during your stops. Finally, as this tour says Napa Valley, as we did...you can also travel through Sonoma. Don't hesitate to book this tour. It's a unique experience that'll bring lasting memories.

Omg! Ron, Rob and Zane were amazing! We had a ball and would do it again! Napa through the eyes of a sidecar ride was nothing like I've ever experienced!

We had a great time touring Napa with Ron. He is a great driver and very knowledgeable about the area. It was so much fun riding and sightseeing everything. Thanks Ron!!!

Last stop was Speakeasy where we had 4 samples and played Cards Against Humanity. There were 4 people in my group and another couple who joined us. Last year, we signed up for our first combo tour: Alcatraz + Haight walking tour. Due to the 2018 fires, our SF trip was severely affected, including the cancellation of the Alcatraz portion. The walking tour was still made available at our own risk given the horrible air quality, but SF on Tap staff were very flexible, refunded our Alcatraz portion, and still conducted a great walking tour led by Lina. The history we learned, the beer knowledge, and the breweries we visited was fantastic. By the end of the tour, our little group was happy, tipsy, and chatty. It was a great first experience! So this year, we went back to San Francisco and did the Alcatraz + Fisherman's Wharf walking tour. Weather was fantastic this time, and the process for getting our tickets plus the actual day of activites was seamless. Prepare for a long day of walking if you do the combo tour. Dress comfortably and wear very comfy shoes. We did the Alcatraz audio tour, which helps you cover the main portions of the site, but there is definitely more to explore, so don't anticipate being able to do it all when you have to be back on shore with time to spare for lunch plus arriving for the 2pm beer tour. So....plan your morning accordingly. After Alcatraz, we had lunch at Boudin at Pier 39 then took a 5min Lyft ride to Ghirardelli Square for the start of our Fisherman's Wharf beer tour. Our guide was Dylan. Dylan did a great job and took us on quite an adventure through Fisherman's Wharf and Little Italy area. Although the beers on this particular tour were not my favorite (except for the barley wine and sour at the end!), I appreciated deepening my knowledge of the neighborhood and of course....brewing! I also love the intimate nature of the tour, like when we get to the breweries / pubs, and there is already dedicated space for us to sit, enjoy, learn, and drink! Dylan did his best to personalize our beer options to our tastes, so that was much appreciated. At the end of the tour, Dylan provided some fantastic dinner recommendations, since the tours end by 6pm. Trust me, you will be hungry! Both Lina and Dylan provided us with memorable craft beer experiences. My boyfriend and I look forward to going 3 for 3 and doing the SoMA walking tour next year! We are true SF on Tap fans!! You won't regret booking with SF on Tap, especially if you want a personalized craft beer experience and want to learn about the city's rich history and the details of brewing.

Of our 3 locations - one an add on because we were running far ahead of schedule - we had to pay for the tasting at one winery, we were hassled at another because the tasting fee had not been paid and the third was fine but not enough to make up for the rest. None of the places we visited had ever heard of Bohemian Highway. Uber and Uber Eats wouldn't have been much more inconvenient and a much better value. In others, we were left to enjoy the company of our newly-made friends. Although I didn't have any food restrictions, Rooted Fork does honor them and we had 4 people on our tour who did have certain restrictions, including 2 vegetarians. Unfortunately it seemed that some of the restaurants didn't understand. In one place, the 2 vegetarians were served heaping plates of fish. The funny thing is that's not what everyone else was served so this means they prepared these fish dishes specifically for people who do not eat fish. Thankfully, once explained to the servers a few times over, they brought out alternate dishes for these folks. We met our tour guide at Independent Brewing Company. He was very friendly and considerate that we were a little late. Before we got started, he asked what type of drinks we were interested in. He took us Seawolf first, then Slainte and we finished at Heinold's First and Last Chance Saloon. All were great choices although Slainte was my favorite. Neat Irish tavern with people playing live music inside. Heinold's was a little small and claustrophobic, but they are known for their beer. When we returned to our vehicle after the second bar, our tour guide came in clutch and stocked our cup holders with pretzels and water. Please don't forget to tip your tour guides! The tour was about 2 hours long. No, drinks are not included in the fee. But this was a fun way to get around the neighborhood, drink, laugh, dance, sing, and overall just be together with friends.
