This place has the areas most consistently good pizzas-especially their Sicilian! Not to mention this place has some fantastic employees. I went in today to pick up my weekly Sicilian and the pizza chef mentioned to me that it was a little well done because a couple of "bubbles" on the pizza. He asked me if it was ok or if I would like him to remake it. I told him it was totally fine and still looked delicious. He asked me "if I was 100% sure", to which I replied, "absolutely!" He then told me to take a slice of cheesecake on the house. In this tough time for restaurants this simple act of customer service prompted me to write a review. This is definitely a great place to eat from. Kind of small for eating in. If you and a buddy want to grab a slice at lunch time you're good to go. For more than 2/3 people for a quick bite order it to go. There is a bar along the window that seats 4 and 2 tables that seat 2-3 each. That being said the food is awesome. I loved the sub and even though it was a little more expensive than the average place they definitely use quality meat (seemed to be fresh sliced per order) and gave me the extra tomatoes I asked for. Drives me crazy extra tomatoes still usually means the sub does not have them end to end. Great place. Will be back to try other things here when in the area. This is the real deal. We stopped on our way home tonight to grab some slices at the new place. I have been seeing the posts on Facebook about the family recipes and ingredients and while excited, I was afraid that I would be disappointed. This was not the case. Both owners were there working on this Sunday night which I think says a lot. There were samples of fresh zeppoles to be tried and while I am not above being bought, it wasn't necessary. They were delicious and spoiler alert, everything else was too. We grabbed a slice of cheese for our toddler. I wouldn't typically order plain cheese but this was delicious. It really was some of the best pizza I've ever had. It was incredibly flavorful and tasted extremely fresh. The crust was perfectly cooked, not too soft not too crispy. The buffalo chicken pizza is the first time I've ever tasted one that actually tasted like chicken wings. The buffalo was mostly missing but I didn't miss it although I could see some being a little mislead by the name. They are confident in what they are putting out and they should be. They also carry juniors cheesecakes, the real juniors cheesecake. I'm concerned with how close I live to here. They have plans to expand to lots more food too, definitely give these guys a shot! read more

Where to start.... inconsistent. I stopped in about a 45 days ago to pick up a pizza and one of the main pizza makers, NO MASK. I'm not being a Karen but.... So order again and ask for a well done pizza.... brown and practically no toppings. I was done but my Mom said they were good. I was like when the place was Double Ds. Gave them another shot for half white and red pizza. I was told white pizza comes with Ricotta. Amazing! We had mushrooms on the whole pie and onions on the red. Perfect. Not NYC pie but it was ok. Tonight I ordered the same pie that I ordered last Friday. All red, no ricotta, skimpy toppings for $24 in Malta? I could get an amazing pie at Patsy's on the UWS for the same price and it was crispy fold over pie. I flagged down the driver tonight in the rain and he admitted the "new" guy was clueless... I called and the owner argued with me over a pizza and PUT THE PHONE DOWN. Wow. Next thing the doorbell rings and it's the deliver man giving me my money back. Then I called the owner who doesn't get customer service and loves to speak over his clientele. It's a flipping pizza. Jeez. Just get your act together and be polite, consistent and admit you messed up and apologize. I'm moving tomorrow and don't have any food in my house and this guy would rather give me my money back vs make a pizza. The margins on pizza are insanely profitable and this pissant puts down the phone and walks away when I was telling him that it wasn't a white pizza. I travel frequently in this area and this was recommended by the hotel and an account of mine. I ordered a hero and a slice. First the hero/sub/grinder review: great meat and fixings. Roll is too hard. Not that it is stale, just hard. It causes the insides to spill out. Boars Head meats and cheese are used and that's great. I think if they went to a fresh soft roll this would be an outstanding sandwich but because of the bread I rate it 6 out of 10. The pizza in this area is different. I am a fan of Greek pizza with a good spicy marinara. The pizza crust here is good, corn meal burned flavor stays with it though. The sauce is sweet and tangy so I am not a fan. I rate the pizza 5 out of 10. I would eat here again, but I would not get a pie. read more

Growing up in the Utica area I got spoiled with great wings and great pizza I moved out here about 8 years ago. I couldn't find a place that had pizza or wings that could even compare and then had Napoli's and they are by far the best I have had. We ordered online (the manager later told me don't use this option) they never put our order in despite my husband calling to verify they got it. When picking up and it wasn't ready the manager basically told me it was the girl that answered the phone second day and "too bad". I understand it was her second day but train her... our pizza was over cooked and burnt on the bottom. We have ordered from here in the past and had amazing pizza. Having been here 3 times since its opening, it is very pleasing to have one of these establishments that puts quality of ingredients as a top priority in preparing to serve customers. Up to this time I have had different items from their menu and have been very pleased with every visit. I don't like to bash places but I had a very bad experience for lunch yesterday. First of all - There was an older gentlemen who works there or owns the place sitting in the waiting area. The place starts getting busy and he proceeds to walk behind the counter, grab a slice of the thick Sicilian pizza with bare hands, touching the adjacent pieces to rip apart (no stop to wash hands mind you), and shoves it in his mouth eating it right over the other pizzas. Come on! So I am now not ordering pizza! Should have walked out! So I order a chef salad! I should not be eating pizza for lunch anyway! The salad is bagged and on my way I go. Upon opening the bag it is just a container of lettuce and maybe 3 pinwheels of turkey, ham, and cheese. WTH, (see other review by Robert U from Mechanicville - same thing and good picture and funny review Robert) I drive back to complain. And I am told "that is what is says on menu" They are correct as I read it - but it sucks. They did offer to make me a new one (why it sucks). Why not put meat on the house salad that now that I look at the menu online states it has other veggies (cucumber, tomatoes, onions, carrots - you know a salad). A bowl of lettuce is not a salad - its a bowl of lettuce. After eating my 3 slices of cold cuts I was left with lettuce. Never go here again! $8.99 for lettuce and 3 slices of cold cuts.
