The service is always great, we have dined in, and we have ordered take out on numerous occasions and every time we go in the staff is always extremely courteous and seem grateful for our business. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant is great for a romantic evening or a quiet family dinner. We love that they have clearly marked on the menu all the vegan options and what is vegetarian to make ordering easy. Ordering online is simple but it's just as easy to call and place an order of you have any questions or concerns. This time I ordered a large pizza with vegan cheese. Half the pizza had artichokes and kalamata olives, the other half was topped with fresh sliced mushrooms and vegan sausage. No canned mushrooms here! I think its great that they know their ingredients. The Vegan cheese is always browned and properly melted. You don't have to tell them extra crispy or well done, they aren't going to give you a pizza that does look and taste delicious! Anytime we are in the Latham area and looking for a place crowd pleaser where we can order for us and the rest of the family that doesn't eat vegan food, Midpoint is at the top of the list! Holy grail of pizzas. I ordered during an absolute blizzard, and although it took two hours to get to me, it was fine because this pizza was so delightful and I don't even like cold pizza. Why was it so good? I got the 10" Chicken Ricotta, and the flavor was on point, perfectly seasoned, and the crust was so fresh. Not doughy, but that good fire pizza fresh. I'm also a sucker for anything that resembles pasta, so when I saw pasta on a pizza, it was a must try. This place is a hidden gem. The menu has sooo many pictures and the food looks like the menu. The staff is very kind but often there is only one waiter or waitress on staff. Upscale but relaxed and peaceful vibe. We ordered a bottle of wine and 2 appetizers to start. The roasted tomatoes were bright and flavorful and we couldn't get enough. We also ordered the oregano spiced octopus. The flavors were terrific but the octopus was just slightly overcooked. Still enjoyable and flavorful and we'd try them again. We also ordered a margherita pizza to share. The blend of sweetness and saltiness was delightful. It was apparent that the restaurant invests in the highest quality cheese and they don't skimp. Another night questioning what's for dinner. Did the usual Yelp search and came across Midpoint. We figured why not?! Good menu with options (and pictures). Our server (Dino) was very good giving us time to decide, taking our order and delivering our hot meal quickly. Subs, both hot and cold; pasta meals, pizza, wings, and more. I had a 6" pie and side salad. (4 generous slices with spinach and garlic. Sufficient cheese and garlic, could always add more spinach on a crispy crust. Caesar salad had chicken and also generous amount of shaved parm) SO had a dozen wings hot. That being said, just to be picky, a little more sauce and a little hotter. Comes with blue cheese and very fresh veggies. Will be putting it our rotation. It's in the Newton Plaza so there's parking. Cauliflower crust pizza was excellent. Love the sauce, the crust was one of the best I've had. My teens agreed too. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The salmon dish I had was kind of plain but it was well prepared and tasted fresh so I was happy! Husband liked his calzone too and they liked the wings too. The salmon came with just a little mashed potatoes. A light portion but the calzone was big. So serving size is big or light depending on what was ordered. Service was great! MidPoint Artisan Pizza has finally opened in Newton Plaza, in the former Crisp space next to Casa Flora. The space was redone nicely to have that old world rustic feel with hard wood flooring, brick face walls, b&w framed pictures, table seating, high top tables, and seating along the front window. They offer full service dining, takeout and delivery through DoorDash. They have a Marana rotary brick pizza oven (open flame) in the open pizza kitchen area in the front of the restaurant. For food, they offer several kinds of pizza slices, whole classic & signature pizzas (12" &16"), calzones, strombolis, classic & MidPoint appetizers, wings, charcuterie boards, sandwiches, paninis, pasta, and desserts. The pricing is moderate here. Coke products and energy drinks served here. There was no alcohol served here at the time of this posting. I stopped by MidPoint Artisan Pizza recently for takeout. The Toast ordering platform was not working and the DoorDash ordering platform was working, but no pizzas were showing. I ended up ordering in person and they also several pizza by the slice (not on the online platforms). I picked out 2 pizza slices ($3.50 plus tax each), Artichoke Pizza and Sausage & Caramelized Onions Pizza and a Sausage Calzone ($16 plus tax). I watched my calzone being made to order and placed in the rotary oven. Also, the pizza slices were warmed up in the same rotary oven a few minutes before the calzone was all set. I brought the calzone and pizza slices home to enjoy. The Artichocke Pizza Slice was topped with garlic sauce, artichokes, spinach, sundried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella on top of a thin firm pizza crust. The Sausage & Caramelized Onions Pizza Slice was topped with garlic sauce, Italian sausage slices, caramelized onions, fresh basil and mozzarella cheese. The pizza crust was a bit dry, but the pizzas tasted just fine. The Calzone was filled with ricotta, mozzarella, and ground sausage in a soft dough pizza pocket, marinara sauce on the side. I will likely return here soon for full service dining in to try out some of their appetizers including the marinated sea bass, fried mussel sticks, and arancinis, along with a pasta dinner. read more

Please don't consider this just a place for pizza. Midpoint has a terrific varied menu from stuffed vine leaves to pizza to paninis to full dinner dishes. Their wine list is quite extensive too. It's almost like being in New York City. Please give it a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

Wow! Found this newish place on Yelp looking for pizza. They have outdoor space, and a lovely remodeled interior. There's a relaxing area with chairs by a fireplace where you can wine and charcuterie. We sat at a high top by the interesting oven. I had a mini pizza funghi that was so delicious and came with a half salad. I picked the Mediterranean- honestly best salad I've had in over a year! I went for lunch and loved it. The vibe is great. Different seating choices; counter, high top, traditional tables. The food and service are 5 stars. If you eat pizza from different restaurants you may find one place you like everything but the sauce, or the crust. Here all components of the pizza are delicious and memorable. Easy 5 Stars. Late lunch on a Friday. They have a gorgeous interior and beautiful patio. We opted for the patio and it was perfect. Everything we ate was delicious and we loved the crispy seasoned bread and olives they brought out right away. Cauliflower pizza dough was awesome. Standard pepperoni pizza was awesome. Their "jumbo" wings were awesome. Fried to perfection and not that gooey or floppy quick fry. Appreciate they cooked them the right way. They came with perfect blue cheese and "gourmet" sliced carrots and celery. Side note - I ordered a Diet Coke and I loved they brought out an ice cold can and with a large glass of ice. Pizza is pretty good and the crust is nice and thin. My gripe is that there was hardly any chicken on my buffalo chicken pizza. Maybe like three chicken tenders chopped up. The chicken was also quite dry. I am down to paying more for quality. When I went in to pick up my order, all the pizza on display had lots of toppings and was very excited....until I saw mine. I also had the baklava and it was ok. I had high hopes for this place, but did not meet my expectations. Based on the reviews, looks like they want feedback to improve. This was our second time at Midpoint Pizza and the 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed it again. Dino has been our server both times and he is a delight. Personable, attentive and very competent. We again shared several appetizers, including my personal favorite, the oregano infused octopus, the hot honey cheese bites and the arancini. All very good. For our main meals we all chose to have various "mini points" a combination of a personal pizza and a half salad. My Mediterranean salad with the chicken basil pizza was great. All of us enjoyed our selections. The salads are very fresh and the wood fired pizzas done perfectly. A great bargain at $16! The restaurant itself is cozy and comfortable. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. Midpoint is officially on our short list of "must go regularly " restaurants in this area. It really should be called Midpoint Mediterranean and Pizza! I ordered their 6-slice cheese pizza with vegan mozzarella, basil, and broccoli, plus their vegan and gluten-free cheesecake. Both are absolutely FANTASTIC. I am not exaggerating when I say that I stopped watching Netflix in order to make a Yelp account so I could give them a good review. Their food is that good. I've had a lot of vegan cheeses, and while I can tell that this is vegan cheese, it is some of the best vegan cheese I've had. We have had three experiences with Midpoint. The first about a month ago was perfect, the food delicious. The second time we went to get their beef and lamb wrapped in naan bread. We ordered drinks and then we came to order, we were informed they were out of that item. So we paid for our drinks and left. Last night we ordered dinner on line using their own software to be delivered. They said it would take about 30 minutes. We waited I went outside to pick the food up since the sprinklers were on. In short, nothing came within the hour. I called and they could not find the order., which I had made and paid for by VISA pressing the ORDER CONFIRM button. It was a chaotic 10 minutes on the phone with them as I got shuffled from person to person. There was no order they insisted, and I had not been charged on my credit card. So, their food is quite good but they definitely lack in customer service and AI (software). So be warned. We won't again until they have a chance to get better organized. read more

This is not my first review for Midpoint Pizza. I've been there several times with my friend and have not been disappointed. Each time we go we try something different. This time we tried the deep fried guacamole bites. Delicious. There are several charcuterie boards and many appetizers to choose from as well. All pizzas have fresh toppings and are wood fired to crispy perfection. Their menu is quite extensive with some very different pizza toppings. It's definitely not your average cheese and pepperoni only. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very inviting. Service is quick and accommodating. Even though I live 20 minutes away, I have driven the distance for take out because there is no other area pizza as good. It certainly is worth giving it a try Or taste.
