Well... first of all I do not vape, my wife (as of tomorrow ) however does. She had been doing…read morebusiness here for about 3 years, and has never really been blown away by the customer service, in fact quite the opposite. Despite the proclamations by the owner that he prides himself on customer service, he has often treated her with disdain ,bordering on contempt.
She went in last week to pick up supplies , and had her sale rejected by the owner, who told her he could not sell her the amount she wants because If he did so, he would run out of his supplies, and not have it available for other customers... He bemoaned the fact That he always runs out and can never service everyone who wants it .
Quick side note, I feel I have to mention that being in management for 20 years, I have learned that one key to a successful business is Having product on hand, instead of deriding A paying customer for wanting to purchase the product, perhaps it would be more beneficial for him to order more inventory, so that he can actually sell to guests who want to buy. The way he runs his stocking, seems counterproductive to a successful business, but that's just me.
Anyway, he asked why she wanted so much, and she said she was stocking up... We are getting ready to be married, we are going out of town, she wanted to make sure she had an ample supply of a product she knew she liked... Lloyd( the owner/ manager) Chose to showcase his exemplary customer service by remarking to her "why do you need to stock up, what is going on a zombie apocalypse or something I don't know about" ... I don't know, maybe I'm weird, but to me that seems to Have all the attributes of the opposite of good customer service... But what do I know?
She came back out to the car, visibly annoyed by the interaction, and after hearing her tale of woe, I decided, being the gentleman I am, I had to go to my fair lady's rescue and defend her honor, so I decided to go buy the stuff for her (yes, I truly am a hero)
OK, here's where it gets a little dicey... I'm kind of... Extra... I can be a patronizing annoying smart ass, and no, it does not require an awful lot of effort...So when I went in, I was looking to be as annoying and passively aggressive as I could.
I went in posing as a Vapor smoker,
Being perhaps a bit loud and flamboyant... Of course I mentioned that I was stocking up because the dead rising and a zombie apocalypse was close his hand (Just echoing back to the rude comment he made to my wife), Bought the product, and made sure to proclaim loudly to my wife who is waiting in the car as I exited the store that I did not believe the owner liked me either.
Consequently, Apparently my wife is now banned, as I would assume I am... And that is fine, that is his prerogative as an owner... Just as it is my prerogative to leave a review... where it gets silly is that he threw a tantrum and deleted my wife's mother's rewards points .
Lol , seems a bit childish to me,But whatever...
Anyway, just felt I would rant... Listen, I don't want to go to lose Business, other than my own LOL, I just want him to try to not be so snarky, not be so rude or condescending... Then he can avoid having sincerely irritating people such as myself come in just to give him agitation... Just saying...I'm giving a three star because quite frankly, I don't want to see the guy go out of business, on a personal note is probably closer to a one...Just try to be nicer dude, LOL... I'm sure my wife can find this garbage anywhere, but, seriously, she's been a customer for years, you really couldn't treat her any better than that?
