Let…read moreme start by saying that it was a good idea for the move because it gave this store an opportunity to expand its market and food operations. I like the fact that it has a lot more vegan options now and it has a deli counter where they serve baked goods and other prepared foods. They still have an extensive vitamin and supplement selection along with now having an expanded section for other home products like soaps and such. Also, they will have those sometimes hard to find products. I have always had good service and the manager has always been very friendly and helpful to get a product that they don't currently carry. The store is always well kept, clean, and is always well stocked. My only knock on it would be the prices. Some of the products can be a bit more expensive than other stores but if you are a member, have a weekly coupon, or catch the sales you can find some good deals (I always check the managers specials cart).

In the past, I've always been hesitant to ask any store associate at the vitamin shop for information on the science behind the products. The majority of the time store associates are there to sell you a product and don't have much information other than what's on the label. The person that helped me here was named, Lydia. She was not only very courteous and friendly, but she was also very knowledgeable. She gave me the science and understanding on many of the products that I had questions about... When I was checking out I told her what a great experience I had. She then proceeded to tell me that she was the store manager. When I am back in town, I will definitely come to this store because of the excellent customer care and service that I received.I wish all store associates at the vVitamin Shoppe stores around the country could be as knowledgeable as Lydia is with helping customers.

The shop is owned by a master herbalist who is clearly dedicated to empowering people to take charge of their physical health. The shop boasts a variety of everything one would need to look and smell good, and feel amazing. There are various dried herbs, herbal supplements, essential oils, soaps (including African Black soap), Shea butters, natural deodorants, fragrance and massage oils, perfumes, and targeted health tonics. He has sea moss, Palo Santo and sage, incense, teas, Alkaline water, honey, apple cider vinegar and other health food items. It's definitely my kind of shop as I am focused on using natural body products, drinking medicinal teas, and I love to create herbal concoctions for various reasons. Everything is reasonable and appropriately priced. There is an adjacent parking lot, which is fantastic for shopping on Livernois. Debit cards are accepted. I didn't have a chance to chat with the owner much, but he did tell me that the shop has been opened for a year.
