Don't bother. Go to one of the wineries nearby. We were seated, drink and appy order taken. After about 10 minutes, we were informed they were out of the appy we had selected. No problem. We skipped the appy and ordered mains. I ordered a veggie quesadilla. This was disgusting. It was full of OLIVES. The fries were decent though. Stopped in for a late lunch with a service dog. They welcome people and dogs. Dogs are allowed in outside seating and inside if they are certified service dogs! This is a great place with draught Guinness and excellent food! read more

Well, this place has a great atmosphere if you're partial to country style locals. In that sense, it's a gem. I specifically went to check out their wing specials on Wednesday. The service is hit and miss, depending on who you get. My server was wonderful this time round, she came a few times to ask how I was doing. Other times the servers generally ignore me or I see them when I go and ask for the bill. The drinks, i.e. beers, are fine, can't really screw drinks up unless you go for cocktails, those are mediocre. According to my server, there are no driink specials, even happy hour which is a bummer. Big positive though, pool table was free when I went there on Wednesday which is pretty cool. However, and that's a big HOWEVER, as I mentioned I only went to try out the wing specials on Wednesday...what can I say.....well, the hot wings were good, these came out hot, and spicy, no complaints. The size of the wings were average, not small, not big. Also, I went early so had the benefit of getting them before they got busy which is typically when the quality of the wings go down. My only major concern is that these are by far the most expensive wings that I've ever had in North America, possibly the world. When these aren't on special, they are $17.95/lb, and don't get me wrong, that's only 8 wings whether the server says 8 or 10. This makes each wing $2.24/wing on regular, non special days. On Wing Wednesdays, the price drops down to $11.95/lb...for 8 wings. This makes them $1.49/wing. That's generally the regular price of every other place in North America. So to summarize, atmosphere good, beers good, service good some times, pool good, wings specials not worth it; go somewhere else for wings. Otherwise, come here with friends and enjoy the atmosphere, food and drinks but bring your Benjamins or in our Canadian case, bring your Bordens. read more

Stopped in here on Saturday for a late lunch/early dinner and was completely charmed. Got the obligatory suspicious yet not at all unfriendly looks from the locals at the bar (this to me is a positive) as we walked in and found our way to a table. We had no idea there was a meat draw going on at the time (whoops), so the fact that we were served IMMEDIATELY, with a smile and welcoming demeanour was fantastic. The ambiance is very welcoming and comfortable and I'm bummed out that I don't live locally, as I would love to have a neighborhood pub like this to hang out at. Ordered Caesars and Fish n Chips; drinks were great as was the food. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that the oil in the deep fryer needs to either be filtered or changed. Everything was a bit too brown, and as someone who used to cook in greasy spoons and small town bars? I always notice that. No shade to the cook or ANY of the staff; things happen and we were more than happy with our experience here. I'll be back the next time I am in the area for sure. read more

We are given the menu, we select something and when the server comes back to take our order we are told they are out of what we wanted. So she left again, we selected something else, and our order was taken. Then we waited...and waited. 45 minutes waiting for their burger on special and a Caesar salad. We finally left without eating. We tried to be patient given the COVID restrictions which has caused staff shortages, but we couldn't wait anymore. read more

The good: food! Everyone was super pleased with the quality of food. I had the nachos and it was loaded! The wings were plenty and delicious. The Reuben was very enjoyable (and the side salad was a proper salad, with veg and fruit). And the prices for the food and drinks were really reasonable! The bad: the service. We waited for our food for almost 40 minutes. And the place was near dead. Apparently that's normal for the place. The place is super cute. Inside and outside seating available. Terrible food and service. Avoid it like the plague. Harvest Burger is a Costco burger patty with what they called special sauce. Pretty sure the special sauce was mayonnaise. Chicken burger was worse. The "Crispy chicken patty is one of those $2.00 chicken mystery meat cutlets and the same "special sauce". The Bench salad was okay. Sunday, late afternoon. We are new to Naramata but were told the place to eat was the pub. We want to feel part of the community. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived. The lovely waitress came almost immediately. She recommended the specials: a pork roast with all the trimmings and a roast beef dinner. We rarely eat red meat but thought we would give them a go. One of each, $12.99 each. Fantastic! When I saw the size of the portions, I thought oh well, I will leave the mashed potatoes. But no, I could have licked the plate if that wouldn't have been rude. I am of English background and I must say the Yorkshire puds were perfect. Fast, hot and delicious and at $12.99 each, WOW! read more

Worst pub service. We ordered appy platter and salad. The plate was dirty and we asked for it to be replaced. 30 minutes later the food arrived missing the dipping sauce and salad dressing. Taste like Costco frozen food. To top it off when I went to the men's room the tp holder was empty. Normally I wouldn't have stayed but were hungry. I should have asked to see the manager, but did not, we are on vacation. Seeing the owners unacceptable response to another negative review on Google reviews now tells me he would not have listened. No we aren't having a bad day, do not blame covid for your failure as a manager. When you get several negative reviews in 3 weeks you have a huge problem,look in the mirror. A cost neighbourhood pub that's got a surprisingly lively atmosphere! We've been by here a number of times (before it changed hands too) as it's right by Boyfriend's parents place. The decor is super rustic and perfect for a local pub like this. The staff are friendly, and the patrons are a good mix of demographics - some older, some younger, and some very fresh faced who also seemed to be regulars! It's great to see so much life and energy in a little pub like this. We had a great time playing cards and drinking Naramata Nut Brown beer (always a win). Their drinks menu isn't bad at all, and the food menu looks good. I have yet to try it, but I'll let you know! If you're in the area I'd recommend stopping by in between wine tours - it's a good way to cleanse the palate! read more

Dropped in for a light lunch a few weeks ago, but the "chicken" soup was disappointing, and the fries are a long way from the gold-standard: authentic hand-cut. When the kitchen first Re-opened under the current management the food was superb. Not so now. If I was to sum up, the place is suffering from a lack of care and attention. Our dinner was not good. We ordered the fish tacos and I couldn't even find the fish, let alone taste it. My husband ordered the quesidella and neither of us could determine what was in it. This place was absolutely terrible service! Hardly anyone was in the pub and we waited 15 minutes to just get a water. While we wanted to order, we had to watch as the waitress was more interested in taking care of her husband and kid who were sitting across from us, which btw couldn't stop gropping each other. It then took 45 minutes to get our food, which was mediocre at best. The other waitress kept apologizing for how long it was taking to get our food, and after we got it, she said sorry - but we are swamped! Swamped with what I thought? The 10 guests you have between 3 wait staff? Steer clear of this place if you want to spend time at the wineries instead of waiting for the waitresses to finish getting fondled by their significant others instead of serving you! Yesterday, our family four had lunch at the Naramata Pub & Grill. We have 2 small children ages 5 and 3. The waitress didn't ask us for a booster seat or provide any thing like crayons or paper to keep the kids occupied. 15 minutes later another table was sat nearby and they were given crayons and paper to colour on. There is no kids menu. We ordered a hamburger for the kids to share and asked to have it plain. My wife had the fajita. The burger for the kids came with garlic aioli and red pepper mayo slathered on the bun. The kids wouldn't touch the burger bun so I'd asked for plain bun. I was charged a $1 extra even though the waitress knew we had small children and asked to have a plain burger. My wife's fajitas came to the table with no fajita shells. The waitress took the plate and then returned with naan bread as fajita shells. The guacamole for the fajita was incredibly salty and completely in edible. I alerted the waitress of extra charge for the bun and she brushed it off. Summary: bad food, no kid menu, not kid friendly, poor service with extra charges. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Avoid and move on. read more

Been going before the new owners, was great then. Since the new owners they have very unknowledgeable waitress that can't handle rushes or even groups, not even slow nights, I gave them a chance from reopening night and came again but nothing has changed. We came in, no tables were cleared, garbage still on the floor and tables and the waitress passed us menus without even thinking about wiping the table down turned around to walk away then quickly turned back and asked if we'd like water or something. We ask for some specialty shots and they didn't know what was in them and didn't bother to ask and gave us something that wasn't even close. Foods ok, they've changed the recipes and lost a lot of flavour by doing so. Haven't been so disappointed in going somewhere. Will never recommend it to anyone. read more

Worst experience ever! We stopped in on a Monday for lunch, four tables on the patio and one in the pub were taken, we were the sixth group (5 of us). When we ordered the waiter, and I use the term loosely, told us that the kitchen was slammed and that it would be 30 minutes for our food. 30 minutes for 2 beef dips, a club sandwich, a corned beef sandwich and a turkey burger. We should have walked then, but we waited, and waited and waited. It took over an hour to get the smallest beef dips I have ever seen in my life, the corned beef was burnt on one side and soggy on the other, the lettuce on the club and turkey burger was rotting around the edges. Fries were disgusting, soggy and greasy. Absolutely without a doubt the absolute worst meal any of us have ever had. Unfortunately we were hungry and one of our group was a diabetic and needed to eat, if not, I would have walked when they brought out that mess. I will NEVER make the mistake of stopping there again. I'm surprised that none of us came down with food poisoning, then again, with food (and service) that awful, how could you tell. read more
