What a great place to experience a friendly country inn. Anthony the owner was welcoming to me and my city friends who drove up for a reunion. The food is all homemade and delicious We enjoyed the meats balls who were made by Anthony's mom!! It's that kind of inn! It was fun to meet regulars , especially Dave! Food was decent value for the $$. Did not drink as it was midday. We have drive by their boycott sign for quiet a while. What we liked. It's not the Heron where my wife ordered eggs with corn beef (over priced) and wanted the eggs over hard. Was told the chef would not prepare the dish that way. Surprisingly clean & reasonably priced rooms in a great location & wifi plus pet friendly! Cons: small old A/C was struggling to cool the room & No TV. I can only speak to the bar portion of the establishment, and the bartender/owner's amazing ability and niceness to whip up a BLT at 11:30pm, so this is not a review of the grille. This is a review of an amazing owner/operator. She was nothing but gracious, accommodating and generous to this weary traveler at the end of her day and mine. We went for 50¢ wing night as a group of seven. It was our first visit to the pub. The wings were okay. Favorites were the Jack Daniels and garlic flavors. The "hot" wings were so mild that the kids could eat them -- if you're a hot wings fan, maybe bring your own hot sauce. Service was friendly but slow, considering we were the only table ordering food at that hour. The first version of the bill was off by some $40, but they corrected it when we spotted it. I think 50¢ wing night is a new thing at the pub in June 2018. Hopefully it will get better as they work out the kinks. read more

This place is to be avoided at all cost. Unfriendly environment and horrible food. Food will make you ill, like it did my wife and I. I was riding my Harley across the state and unfortunately gave this place a try. Set us back a day and a half I was so ill. I was in a photo exhibit about freckles and the NYC based photographer was hosting his pieces at the an old converted space in Narrowsburg. Mom and I decided to take the ride upstate and we needed a place to stay the night.. The Ye Ol Narrowsburg Inn.. We checked in via the help of the inn's bartender, who double checked our rsvp's, ran our cc's via the bars machine and gave us our keys for the rooms and bathroom... Unfortunately the night we were staying the rooms with their own bathrooms were booked. Public bathrooms.showers were very clean though... The event wasn't until the evening so mom and I took a ride to Bethel Woods (Woodstock site) and surrounding areas.. We went to the event which was a success and back to the Narrowsburg for dinner and drinks. Mom and I ended up closings the bar that night. All the locals loved us city girls. So convenient we only had to stumble up the stairs to go to bed! All in all, extremely cute place to crash for a night. No frills and close to the Delaware Water Gap and seasonal attractions! PS - this place is rumored to be haunted! One of the oldest Inn's in NY State... Boo! read more

FYI This is a review for the "restaurant" portion of the inn. The cook's favorite ingredient is salt and it is on EVERYTHING. We ordered a burger with mushrooms, onions and peppers and it was a disaster. The burger was served on a plate that was literally SOAKED with oil. It looked like whoever cooked the dish poured the sauteed veggies (oil and all) onto the dish. It was completely inedible and just trying to hold the burger was tricky because of all the grease. The meat was completely over cooked (I asked for medium). This was sent back to the kitchen. The philly cheesesteak (decent but only because the burger was so horrendous) was edible. It was completely over salted but we ate this because we were hungry and didn't want to wait for them to re-do our dishes. It took long enough the first time around. The fries would've been good but again, salt. Boo. read more

I have been traveling almost every week for the last 25 years. I have settled into a routine and have come to realize that there are no more surprises for me while traveling. To my surprise I was so wrong. On a recent kayak trip down the wonderful Delaware river with a friend I found myself stranded, no car, no taxi service , no Uber to get me back to my car a short 15 miles back up river. I was about to give up and start hitch hiking when I decided to grab a bite before I tried to thumb it to my car. I proceed to call the only restaurant that I could find, the Narrowsburg Inn, a young woman answered the phone and said "we don't open until 4". I proceed to tell her my sob story when she responded "I'll take you"; sight unseen! I soon found out she was the owner. Fast forward. She took me to my car I then returned for dinner, lots of drinks and a great night sleep (maybe alcohol induced). This place is full of great people f the owner to the bartender to the wait staff. Please stop by and experience the hospitality of the Catskills and the owner at The Narrowsburg Inn (tell her you read this, I hope she remembers me cuz I'm sure I will remember her). Just left after a night in a lovely room. With staff who went out of their way to make it so. The best anniversary celebration ever.

Sandwiches are nothing brag about and very overpriced considering the portion size and mediocre taste!

We love the Narrowsburg Inn and their staff! We come every year for a MOTO event and we can't say enough about how wonderful this establishment is and how friendly they are. We look forward to staying and dining here every year! read more

We came to the Grill portion of the Narrowsburg Inn looking for some quick pub food. We walked in and immediately could tell this was mainly a bar / grill that local regulars went to. The people at the bar immediately got quiet when we walked in and literally stared at us as we walked in and looked for a seat. That made us feel uncomfortable and should've been an indicator that we were better off going somewhere else. We ordered some simple pub food yet had to wait over 45 minutes for it even though there seemed to be no one else eating at the time. When the food finally did come it wasn't very good. As another reviewer mentioned, everything seemed to be doused in salt. The Narrowsburg Inn Grill seems to be the place that locals go to for cheap drinks (ie: $1 Bud Light pints the night we were there) and not for food. I'm not sure how the restaurant side of this place is but I wouldn't recommend the Grill. read more

Great, unpretentious, casual bar/restaurant! Friendly, quirky staff, burgers, wings and nice specials with limited outdoor seating and a spacious bar room. Set inside the inn, which has rooms available, this is the cost corner with finding on the first floor. read more
