I love taking people here who enjoy frozen drinks. The flights are such a great concept, while I love getting 1 individual drink, I love getting to try 3 drinks all at once. Picking up Narwals on the way to the pool is one of my favorite parts about summer

Took these to go. It took a bit to get them ready but waited at the bar and got to try some flavors while waiting. Felt kinda humid inside but didn't stay to dine in. Drinks were yummy! Preferred the S'mores Martini than the Chocolate Mudslide. S'mores Martini had but of vanilla ice cream and it mixed so well.

I always enjoy my experience at Narwhals! Nice staff, they're happy to give samples and offer suggestions when asked. I tried their new spring flavors! I couldn't wait to get my hands and tastebuds on the matcha!! The raspberry matcha is so good although it could use a bit more fruit flavor. The guava passion fruit margarita is on the tart side which was surprising but my friend liked it! I wasn't a fan of the cherry blossom mojito but to each its own. My favorite from the flight was the Thai Collins! Perfectly balanced, pretty color, delicious.

I'm not familiar with this location but I was in the area and wanted a frozen drink to go. Because of the city ordinance, you have to buy some food item for to go alcohol purchases. They have some inexpensive items so not a big deal. The server was really nice and helped me make a decision on what to get. You can even sample some before you buy. I love that you can mix 2 flavors together for that perfect blend. They were pretty packed and I wish there was a small waiting area so you aren't in the way of people coming in. If I'm in the area, I would come to this location again. Seems to be a popular spot as they were busy. A nice place to meet up with friends and chat over some fun drinks.

Narwhals is a fun cocktail bar that serves slushee cocktails, on the rocks cocktails, hot cocktails, and mocktails. Generally they have their staple cocktails that they offer as well as seasonal specials. Their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side. You can order at the bar or order using a QR code at your table. They also have the option to get a variety of sizes or a 3 drink sampler flight. They have multiple locations and I visited their midtown location today. In the spirit of the holidays I ordered their yummy spiked s'mores hot chocolate. The drink was warm and cozy, and the alcohol in the drink was a nice addition that was not overpowering. This cocktail bar is nice for both large and small groups, with many areas for seating including their indoor area and indoor/outdoor patio with fire pits. I look forward to coming back!

Had a great experience with Narwhals! We took their Mardi Gras shuttle, which was so convenient and only $15 round trip--definitely doing this again next year. Got the King Cake drink, which was very sweet, tasty, and perfectly festive for the occasion. It's a fun spot that clearly knows how to celebrate and make things easy for their customers. Highly recommend!

Love this place and the friendly staff. Their fun menu has something for any pallet be it vodka, rum, tequila or whiskey. Our group must have tried 8 different kinds and in various sizes. The fishbowl was a hit and could be brought back for a reduced price. Also learned that you can rent the machines if you want to bring fun drinks to a party. The outdoor patio gave a vacation vibe. Staff allowed us to bring our own food to enjoy with our drinks. Highly recommend.

Fun spot to hang out with friends since I've never been to a "slushy bar" and it did not disappoint! Lots of slushy flavor combos and other drinks on the rocks or drafts. My only thing is if you're not a fan of sweet drinks, mightttt not be the spot for you. Tried all the slushies from tap before ordering and all are very sweet, as expected. Ordered an aperol spritz and gotta say, it was quite bad and asked them to remake. So that's my only ding. Service was super great.

The flight with Strawberry Peach Bellini, Hurricane Tony and Winter Margarita

Customer service is everything. This was my first time going to Narwhal's. My friends and I arrived, stood next to the podium and waited to be seated. The young lady at the podium was busy writing out reservation markers for the tables and totally ignored us. No greeting at all, didn't acknowledge us nor seat us and walked away. We went over to the counter, ordered and complained about the lack of service and was given an excuse as to why we weren't acknowledged. After we seated ourselves, received our drinks, the same young lady approached our table at 5:23pm with a reserved marker for 5:30pm. She tells us the table we're sitting at is reserved and we have to move. Mind you, there were 4 empty tables around us. I told her we're not moving. About 5:35pm the young lady comes back to our table, removes the reserved marker and places it on another table that a lady had just come in and sat down at. I'm unsure if this is the way business is usually handled but businesses need to train their workers and teach them proper customer service skills. My flight of drinks was ok. I had the Strawberry Peach Bellini (the best) , Winter Margarita (just ok) and Hurricane Tony (not good, I couldn't finish it, taste like medicine).

My friend and I visited narwhals on Friday evening after work. When we walked in, there was a lot of congestion at the entrance (not sure why) but we moved through that quickly and made our way out to the patio where we found seating quickly. Using the QR code, we ordered our drinks and they were delivered quickly. The patio had a decent crowd and since they are pup friendly, there were 2 pups as well. The service was quick and the atmosphere was nice. They had the heat on which made it a bit warmer than I expected, but someone opened the back door to allow a breeze to cool it off a bit. Overall, this was a nice place to spend the end of a crazy work week and I'll be back soon.

This place was great! We have a similar place called 'Wet Willies' back in NJ which I enjoy and this is pretty great too. The space is really nice and the staff is super friendly and helpful! My husband and I did not have any food items, only drinks. My husband got the 'Blood Orange Margarita' which he enjoyed. I ordered the flight and you could choose any 3 drinks. I ordered the 'Chocolate Mudslide', 'Dragonfruit Vodka Tonic' and 'Strawberry Basil Lemonade'. They were all DELICIOUS! I hate strong drinks and while they were strong, they were SO flavorful and did not taste much like alcohol which is just how I like it. However, they did get my husband and I tipsy just from those small amounts. This place would be so dangerous if it opened by me. I would definitely come back if I was in the area and 100% recommend for a nice space to sit, drink and enjoy!

I mean. Slushy. Boozy. Drinks. Need I say more?! I will. Tasty lineup including seasonal rotations you can taste before buying. I love the flight so I can get all the flavors and still get my Slushy fix. They have recently expanded to west county and it was great to have some space for catching up with friends over a Slushy drink in chesterfield. My faves are the orange dreamscicle and the holiday apple old fashioned kinda thing. Great service every time. Go for happy hour!!

Do they have a Happy Hour?

We do indeed have a Happy Hour from 3-6pm Monday-Friday, and all frozen cocktails are $1 off!

Are dogs welcome on the patio?

    Yes

Do all the drink have a dairy base?

No, most all the drinks are non dairy based, except the Banana Dave and one other. A lot of different options including beer, wine, mixed drinks and the sushi drinks

Do they do drinks to go? Just curious if it's like Trops, where you could take your drink with you.

They have someone posted at the door and they make you throw out any alcohol that you haven't finished.

Is this kid friendly around 6pm?

Short answer: no Longer answer: I would say they are a bar- they don't have food or anything that isn't based around some alcohol, so I wouldn't think it's a good place for…

I know you can order delivery from Picklemanns to Narwhal's, but can you bring in other outside food? Specifically wondering about BLK MLT Eats next door. Thanks!

Absolutely - we welcome any outside food to be brought in! BLK MKT is pretty awesome though!

Does anyone know if they have virgin versions of the icees?

Yep - we have a few N/A smoothie options we can make on the fly!

The bouncer was super nice and he actually walked me all the way in. our waitress was also very nice and attentive. It was not busy when we were there and we had reservations for a group of six, which is apparently the most you can have on a reservation. We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday and everyone got a variety of drinks from the cocktail menu. I got their version of the whiskey sour with the cherry froth on top and it was so good. The waitress said it is the most popular and I can see why I really enjoyed it and would've ordered more if it wasn't so expensive for one drink the table, got a variety of the small bites such as the cheese and the Barada. They also got some bread which looked awesome. I did not try personally, but it looked very impressive. the atmosphere is dark and mysterious. It smelled good and felt fancy. The decor is very tasteful and makes you feel like you are truly in a speakeasy. The location is outstanding with it being near the foundry. If you're looking for a place to grab a drink, this is definitely a fun stop however, don't expect a full meal. Overall would be back!

We showed up without a reservation, which I wouldn't necessarily recommend. We were initially told the wait would probably be around an hour and a half, so reservations are definitely a good idea. Somehow, we got super lucky and received a text that they were ready for us only about 10 or 15 minutes later. We ended up sitting at the bar, which honestly made the experience even better. If you enjoy watching bartenders work their magic, I highly recommend sitting there if you get the chance. The cocktails here are unlike anything we've had before, and it was so much fun watching all the different drinks being made and seeing the creativity that goes into each one. Our bartender, John, was amazing. He was incredibly personable, answered all of our questions, and was genuinely enjoyable to talk to throughout the evening. Between the two of us, we tried four cocktails. I started with the Linea Uno and asked John if he could make it less bitter after the woman sitting next to me mentioned that was an option. It was delicious, although I apparently didn't pay enough attention to the menu when ordering because it was tequila-based, and tequila normally isn't my first choice. The Trade Winds was one of the coolest drinks of the night, made with clarified rum, apricot, and coconut and topped with mango air. The mango air literally looked like bubbles but smelled like mango. Such a unique presentation, and the drink itself was really enjoyable. My husband tried the New York Whiskey Sour, made with clarified whiskey, yuzu, tart cherry, and black lime cordial with a red wine foam. Again, the presentation was beautiful, and it tasted just as good as it looked. My personal favorite was Ankra's Passion Fruit Martini, made with vodka, vanilla, passion fruit, lime, and bubbles. It came with a small glass of champagne on the side, which was a really nice touch. John mentioned that I could drink the champagne separately or add it to the martini as I went. I ended up pouring some into the cocktail, and for me, it balanced out the sweetness of the passion fruit perfectly. The entire speakeasy experience was just fun, from trying to find the entrance to making our way inside and finally settling in at the bar. We took plenty of pictures and videos along the way, but I'm intentionally not posting most of them because I don't want to ruin the surprise for anyone visiting for the first time. I will share a picture of the red light you need to look for at The Foundry since we initially had a little trouble figuring out where to go, along with some photos of our drinks. The rest of the journey inside is something I think you should experience for yourself. Creative cocktails, beautiful presentations, a genuinely fun atmosphere, and fantastic service from John made this an easy five-star experience for us. If you're visiting The Foundry and enjoy unique cocktails and hidden speakeasies, None of the Above is absolutely worth finding. Just learn from us and make a reservation. We got very lucky!

I'm disappointed that it took me so long to make my way here. They won me over with the tiny dedicated parking lot. At my big age, difficult parking situations are a turn off and I will go home if I can't get reasonable parking. I was able to snag a space in the lot and headed in. The space is a bit dark with rich sage, brass, and terracotta. There are several hanging plants making it an inviting place. The bar has plenty of comfortable seating and cozy tables if you decide to bring some friends. Caleb was our server during our visit. He was an absolute delight. He made excellent cocktail suggestions. He looked after our group without being overly doting. Just a gem of a human. We tried approximately 9 cocktails during our visit. Did I mention we were at brunch! I highly recommend the peach bite and the Side Car. Every cocktail is thoughtfully made and well executed. They offer a small brunch menu along with the regular menu. I usually always get chilaquiles when they are available. But today the ruby trout and grits sounded perfect. This dish was amazing!! The trout was thin with crispy skin. The grits were creamy and delicious. The dish is topped with a house made radish pico and salsa macha. We also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was paired with the crispiest breakfast potatoes I've ever had. The burger and fries are also a good option. The seasoning on the fries is next level. The brunch menu has a sticky toffee roll that is a perfect size for sharing or not. Salty sweet fork tender cinnamon roll. Lastly, the deviled eggs were a group favorite. I am a big fan of Passenger Chili Crisp. If you are unfamiliar please look them up! It's hands down the best chili crisp I've ever had. It's locally made here in STL and can also be found in several dishes at restaurants around town. The eggs were creamy with the right amount of tang from the mustard. The chili crisp made these deviled eggs easily top five best I've ever had! Planning to stop in again soon for happy hour with more friends

The space is intimate, stylish, and perfectly appointed -- the kind of place that feels like you've stumbled into a secret little jewel box in the city. It's cozy in the best possible way, with an atmosphere that invites laughter, celebration, and maybe just a little fabulous mischief. The bartenders? Absolute pros. Warm, welcoming, and clearly masters of their craft. Naturally, I ordered my classic gin and tonic, and it was perfection in a glass -- crisp, balanced, and exactly what a proper G&T should be. I heard from the birthday boy and his wonderful wife that the owners were incredibly accommodating, and you could feel that hospitality throughout the entire evening. Everything felt effortless and welcoming -- the kind of place where people clearly care about creating a great night. And then... the party truly began. We had drag queens serving glamour and joy, music, laughter echoing through the room, and pizza delivered from the birthday boy's favorite local pizza spot that honestly deserves its own standing ovation. If you want to know where that pizza came from, drop a comment -- because it was outrageously good. By the end of the night I couldn't stop thinking: this place really is a Hidden Gem. A perfect little pocket of St. Louis where good drinks, great people, and a bit of fabulous chaos come together. Sparkle-tastic. Gem-tastic. Pure joy. One of the biggest perks of Hidden Gems is their back room, which allows them to host events and fun pop-up experiences. I've been to a few, and most recently attended the "Taylor Swift: Bejeweled" experience. The space was decked out in all things Taylor, with every era clearly represented. Giant friendship bracelets hung from the ceilings and lined the walls, which was such a fun touch. And of course, there were plenty of photo ops with my close personal bff, Taylor herself! The drink menu was themed to match the eras, with tons of creative options. My friends and I tried several cocktails, along with a few NA options as well. I really appreciate that they offer non-alcoholic drinks as I've been cutting back on alcohol over the past few months, and it's nice to still have fun choices that actually taste good! The Mirrorball was easily my favorite drink of the night. It tasted just like an orange creamsicle and was served in a disco ball...so good and so fun. My last drink of the night was "So Long London," which was almost like a dessert in a glass. Highly recommend ending your night with that one!

The restaurant itself is quite small and is located on the other side of Yellow Belly. The entrance has minimal space that looks to be able to accommodate 4 or 6 people if you're waiting for a table. Inside, the spacing is fairly decent for being a smaller location. I didn't feel too crammed dining and the 2-seater table was of normal size so there was enough room. We were seated right by the entrance with a curtain separating the area. True to its name, a Tiger statue sits at the entrance which is decorated in tropical manner. The theme continues within the restaurant. Lazy Tiger has a happy hour which if I remember correctly, ended at 6:30. Their cocktails are $12 during happy hour (rather than $14) and they have a selection of snack type items which you could have as appetizers if you'd like. We both got a cocktail. My husband had the human costume (gin, amaro, blanc vermouth, melon, gnartruese, malic acid) and I had the humble brag (gin, rhum, salted banana, forbidden rice, coconut, lemon). Both were refreshing and different but in a good and surprising way. We started with the nachos from the happy hour menu and added some pork belly per our writer's recommendation. I love pork belly anything anyway. The nacho was a huge serving! And it was very tasty with a good amount of crispy pork belly peppered throughout. I had the Morrocan spiced halibut served with couscous, asparagus, Spanish chorizo, tomatoes, pistachio dukkah. Halibut was well seasoned and prepared perfectly. We also shared an order of the vegetable fried rice and added some spam because I am a sucker for spam fried rice. It came with some chili crisps which brought the dish to another level. My husband had the tamales which he thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't get to try some but it looked fantastic. We ended up taking home the rest of my meal and the rest of the fried rice which have been devoured over the weekend. Service was fantastic. I love the vibe, I love the food!

Fantastic happy hour from 3-5…read more The Elephant Never Forgets is an amazing creation. Best cocktail I've had in quite some time. I usually only have a cocktail when dining out...but I would buy a gallon of this to take home if I could. It's that good! The rest of the cocktail list is full of creativeness and I feel you can't go wrong with any of them. And then the dips! So good plus the homemade pita is delicious. Dinner menu starts at 5 so we stayed to try more of what The Rabbit has to offer. We ordered the onion rings, gnocchi and meatballs. Unexpectedly, the gnocchi was in a light yet very flavorful broth. It was our favorite dish from the dinner menu. The onion rings were okay and pretty greasy. The labneh sauce was the standout part of the onion rings. The meatballs were also flavorful with a hint of spice yet a tad bit dry. Still worth ordering.

We ordered the NOR and Lillian's revenge cocktails, onion rings, mac & cheese, red snapper, pork tenderloin, and gooey butter cake. I love it when I get to experience flavors I've never had before and every dish gave me a revelation. The cocktails were perfectly balanced, the pork was cooked sous vide and so succulent, and the veggies were tender with drool-worthy flavor. Most of all, everything tasted so delicious and real. It was also not too expensive for this high quality of dining, delivered with warm, genuine service. Our dining experience was an incredible 10/10. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and can't wait to return.
