We are very disappointed in the lack of integrity of Tier One and will never hire them again…read more(owner, Nate Hannoush). We hired them to mulch and edge our planting beds. Neither on their quote nor during the pre-work physical walkthrough did they mention that they use a deeply-piercing edger machine that will cut through anything in or near its path (and that they would not repair or replace anything damaged as a result of that). Matter of fact, we brought up the topic of our dog fence, which we said we would mark since it's so shallow (another opportunity they missed to talk about this). Their edging machine destroyed 2 sprinkler heads, cut into 4 sprinkler lines, ripped up our dog fence line in multiple places when they unexpectedly expanded a bed, and ripped a hole in our sump drainage pipe. We offered to cover the cost of fixing the dog fence and the sprinkler system issues and Tier One cover the cost of the sump pipe issue. Tier One said they'd only pay if their insurance will cover it. Then they came back and said their insurance company wouldn't cover it. I feel we were misled by this company on the damage they caused and their refusal to work with us on a solution. Buyer beware with this company or owner! If you have ANYTHING near a planting bed edge, it is EXTREMELY likely to get damaged if you hire this company - including (but not limited to) dog fence lines, sprinkler system lines and heads, cable lines, sump drainage pipe lines, etc
