I Hired Apco to put new siding on my house, it did not need it we really just wanted a color change…read moreand a new look, what a mistake! I am giving one star only because you must to leave a review. I told the salesman that I had extensive construction back ground and wanted to make sure the siding was installed correctly, he told me that there crews are so good they never have problems! I said I want to make sure the siding is left with proper room to expand when hot and shrink when cold, also nails are to be in the nail slots loosely so siding can move horizontally when expanding. I was told it woud take six weeks for them to start, at eight weeks I was calling them beause I had not heard anything and weather was now getting cold, finally they called with a start date. The day they came out Jay who was the supervisor showed up to meet me and we talked for ten minutes and he left! I went to an appointment, when I came back nine workers none of which could speak any English were there. Hitting the nails far to forcefully there work was beyond sloppy, siding cut to long or to short! The salesman said it would take seven to eight days to complete the Job, they were done in one day! These people do not know what a level is used for evidently, I have siding that is not level and started at different heights on each side of electical conduit on the front of my home so it looks ridiculous! Our house house has several exposed areas where improper cuts were made and are now subject to water infiltration. We have had them out two times to let them fix some of the visual problems, I have wasted my time walking around showing Jay the superintendent all of the eye sores and he gets two items fixed and says they are done! At this point we have siding up high on the east side of our house that was cut to short, but clearly not nailed properly because it is starting to come off! Our experience to this point has been terrible and we are still trying to let them make it right. The biggest problem is the siding being nailed to tight and cuts that are to tight, which leads to warping and leaking in the years to come. I have the manufacturers istallation instructions which were clearly not followed, and voids the manufacturers warranty. The proper solution would be to tear the siding off and have a trained supervised crew start over! I could go on but this is already to long save yourself a lot of grief and premature aging and find a company that cares about quality!

The sales manager walked me through every line item; removal, new vents and gaskets, plywood, waterproof underlayment, insulation, ventilation, chimney flashing, etc. Our roof was measured 3 times by three different men on different days; the salesman, the job manager, and the crew leader. They have managers on site daily, along with team leaders. They followed the entire process with drone pictures and provided these for me to send to my homeowners insurance. Their pricing is honest and without surprises. The job, which is a filthy, messy, and dangerous undertaking, was performed with great skill. The crew arrived promptly at 0730 each morning and were working by 0800, cleaned debris daily with attention to detail. They used massive tarps to protect landscaping and plywood over the air conditioner. They blew debris from my roof and gutters daily, power washed and reapplied gutter guards, resecured solar panels for cameras, installed and wired 2 attic ventilation fans. Every piece of metal, which was created on site, was custom cut to our Mansard roof. I saw certificates and licenses for multiple trades. The workmanship is superb. Every member of the Gator Roofing team, from the offices to the crew members were professional, knowledgeable, top-quality people. I give Gator Roofing an A-ONE in customer service and craftsmanship and recommend them highly. I had 7 roofing estimates before I started. Gator was in the middle and explained everything so thoroughly that I chose them on the spot and had a new roof within a few weeks in spite of all the Spring rain.
