Having to step over gym bags and tripods in the middle of the gym floor. Multiple people using benches just to sit or to place their stuff but not using it to lift. People sitting on their phones for 10 or more minutes (yes I've timed it) with no regard for other gym members. People standing thisclose to the free weights and then upset when you try to grab some. The gym is usually dirty. The AC doesn't work well in the main area of the gym but it's frigid in the barbell/leg room. If the gym members actually followed any rules or gym etiquette maybe I could get a decent work out it but nope...

I asked the front desk, they then asked the Manager and was told that it was company policy that the hooks are for the mats, not intended to hang members towels on.. so I asked can the matts be placed somewhere else? Answer was no.. I asked if the mats were cleaned with soap and disinfected to insure that all bacteria was removed from the mats nightly and got a blank stare in reply.... Over the past two weeks management still has this policy in place for I personally have seen the mats hanging from the hooks outside shower stalls.

The staff are usually friendly, gracious, and efficient with getting you through the door and onto equipment. I really love how most of the equipment faces out towards nature rather than more rows of equipment. While this happens occassionally, I'm usually able to navigate towards a nature-facing space. If I had to be picky, the only drawback is for my introverts: this gym is usually quite popular, whether during the day with elder gym-goers or during the later night with college-age students. The only time I've found as relatively less populated is during the hour before lunch or slightly before school pick-up for parents with kids around that age. This is obviously not that convenient for most families or individuals. Parking is plentiful but usually pretty full. Be careful with the traffic around here. It's usually pretty calm, but there's just a lot of people going in and out. The pool is currently (12/2024) closed for remodeling but otherwise a fully functional gym. Some additional amenities include: a walking track, stairmasters, treadmills, free weights, power racks, bikes, row machines, and your standard machine weights.

I was hesitant at first because I am certainly not an athlete, but it is SO inclusive and I truly felt like I belonged. The workouts can be modified up or down to ANY level. The staff is so friendly and the trainers are super knowledgable and always take time for one on one training. The best part is the community. We truly are all here to support each other and wholeheartedly celebrate each other's victories big or small. The price to me is completely worth it. You get so much more than just a gym; free childcare, nutrition guidance, universal membership, accountability, trainers who truly want you to succeed, friends for life. I very highly recommend Burn.
