Thomas did a great job with my vintage Kenwood receiver and it should last another 40 years!

Instead, they said they fixed, they did not, and then when I took it back they tried to convince me that the screen "burned out", which it absolutely did not. They may be able to help people with printer configuration, phone fixes and that sort of stuff, but when it comes to an actual repair on a laptop, forget it. I have been a software design engineer for 40 years, they don't have a clue outside of simple fixes. I highly recommend seeking other resource for any real repair work. I will still charge almost $90 and they didn't accomplish anything. I will end up having to spend time and repair it myself. Was just trying to save my own hassle, but if you want something done right, I guess you gotta do it yourself. I suggest staying away from the corporate, high volume repair stores, the hire mostly flunkies who don't really have a clue. And they weren't really all that nice to me either. Not impressed. I won't be back, that's for certain.

My iPhone and the toilet had a battle and it was Toilet-1 and iPhone-0! The phone spend 24 hours of time-out in a bag of rice to no avail. I was totally prepared to buy another phone when I thought about giving Lifeline a call. After talking with Travis, we decided to give it a try---he would know within a couple of hours with the phone if he could save it or not. And if, even after spending all of that time on it, he could not get it working, there would be no charge. How can you argue with that? Since I had an appointment with the Apple place set up already, I hoped to know the verdict before I had to put out $300-500 for a new phone. Travis kept me informed throughout the day and was I overjoyed when he told me that it was working! He had to replace the screen and one of the cameras (not the selfie one but the "facing away" one) and the bill came to $180 and change! YES! You read that correctly!!! $180 and NOT $500!!! Plus, when I turned on my phone EVERYTHING was still there...EVERYTHING!!! Folks, these folks are the BEST...no doubt about it. Check with them FIRST and you won't be sorry. Friendly, courteous, efficient, skilled, professional, and so reasonably priced! What more could you ask for!!

He charged for a new power cable, all new caps, and new tubes, it was approximately $250. After about a month or two I dropped the amp down some stairs due to the handle breaking (not his fault, although I wish he would've offered to replace the handle.) but the amp worked that night but stopped working the next day. The amp sat for the next couple months cause I didn't have any money to pay for another repair, and was very busy and I didn't have the chance to look at it. About two weeks ago I took the amp to someone else because Ferg's phone was disconnected. When he called me after looking at the amp, he said it needed all new caps and tubes, and that all the ones on the amp were original (those things need to be changed around every 20 years), to which I replied that doesn't make any sense I paid for that to be done last year, he told me basically one connection on the amp was bridged to make the amp work but those things were never properly replaced. I called Ferg to confront him this morning and he claims he would "never do something like that" and that "he always gives the parts he take out back to you" but he absolutely did not give any parts back to me. The guy at the new place did and I can see that these parts are very clearly not modern components and are most likely the ones that came in the amp. So essentially he either put old components in my amp or just did the absolute bare minimum so when he handed it back to me it would work for a while. Either way don't go to this guy. Literally call any other amp guy in town and ask about Ferg, I bet they'll have a story.

I thought it was going to be expensive and a long wait but he got me in the same day I called and also was very reasonable rate. He does amazing work on Fenders, Marshalls and all amps and builds amazing amps too. This is now my go to guy for all my amps! Thanks again Fergs Your the best in my book!
