I've never driven a boat before, but after a quick lesson I was all set to take on Percy Priest lake. Driving was easy; forward, reverse and neutral. Kaboom, I'm officially a captain. The boat comfortably held four adults and four small children. It had Bluetooth speakers, a dining area and large canopy for hiding from the sun. We couldn't explore the whole lake, but the map we were given was huge and easy to navigate. We paid $400 for a seven hour weekday rental. Basically $100 per adult. If you are researching the boat club you will see the claims they make about nice fleets, availability, and fun. And guess what? They are ALL TRUE. (When was the last time you got everything you were promised from a business? It's rare people.) We enjoy having a fun, exciting boat every weekend (and during the week too!), it's so nice to not be pigeonholed into one type of boat. Pontoon this week? Sure. Wakeboard and surf next week? Sounds like a plan. And all the toys are included, top of the line surfboards, wakeboards, tubes, you name it. Just keep up with your reservations and you will always get what you want. We have never been lacking a boat when we wanted one. The fleet is very well maintained and the boats are really nice; Mastrcraft, Tige, Supra, etc. The staff is amazing, they are so nice in the office and on the docks! So helpful, patient, and kind. If you enjoy trailering a boat to the crowded boat ramp, putting it in, hoping it starts, leaving early because you need to get it back on the trailer, etc then this isn't for you. If you like to just show up and go, never worrying about maintenance or unscheduled repairs and expenses, then run, don't walk, to the boat club. We have already made memories to last a lifetime with our kids and friends out on the water and can't wait to make some more next year!

Within just a few minutes he was able to tell me what was wrong with my Boat ( which was good news). Instead of trying to up charge me and pad the bill he gave me a fair and fairly low bill to fix my boat. He didn't string things out either. He said he could be back in 1 or 2 days with the parts needed. His hourly labor rate is a bit below the regional average. I will sing my praises of him to anyone needed a striaght up guy who does good work.
