The salesman suggested putting a hold on it until the next day when we could call Ford to verify if our truck had the capacity. We found out that it could NOT, so we emailed the salesman Brian, immediately and asked for the money to be refunded. We hoped to find another camper with them instead. We were told NO. They would not refund our money. They claimed that "no refund" was written on the receipt but there was no such disclaimer. When we asked to speak with the sales manager or the owner the salesman laughed at us and said "Good luck getting a hold of him. He's never here." Brian lied at one point and told the secretary to "tell them I AM the sales manager." He was rude and downright unprofessional in the phone. He laughed at us when we politely asked for a refund and told us not to "make it personal". I'm sorry. $1000 is personal to us. He would not return our calls. This company would rather have kept $1000 from a retired Army Vet Green Beret with 9 deployments and a Kindergarten Teacher than offer the money back and ensure that we will be return customers. When the owner, Jett finally returned our calls he was not apologetic at all for the way everything was handled or how unprofessionally Brian treated us. In the end, after bribing us by saying, "If you take down the negative reviews, we will return your money" they finally returned it to us... 2 months later. We will NOT be going back and would NEVER recommend.

I booked the wrong dates 3 months ahead of time and realized it only a couple weeks before the trip. Unfortunately they had nothing available for the particular Rv I rented. I asked Beau if he could please find me something even if a downgrade or upgrade and he came through with a brand new 40 ft. class A Rv. Of course my mistake cost me more but our trip was saved. We had one little quirk with the Rv the first night. I was able to get in contact with Beau and he talked me through it and no further assistance was needed for the rest of the trip. They told me to bring it back. I lived a half an hour away and couldn't get it back later. Had a mechanic look at it who told me I need a battery part. Bought the battery part. Brought it back. It was the wrong battery part complained about the absorbinant bill was told by Brett that there was nothing that could be done. I really felt that there should have been some form of return compensation for the amount of bill that I paid. I was not expecting the whole bill to be credited but just the fact that the boat never ran was upsetting. We've now sold the boat and have had no financial return or physical pleasure from driving that boat. It was a waste of time and money. If you use this company, be sure you check out their rates and fees before giving them the boat and have them give you an approximate time that the boat will be ready and if it's not ready then pull it because they're going to charge you more and more money. He said he could be back in 1 or 2 days with the parts needed. His hourly labor rate is a bit below the regional average. This was my first experience on the Duck River, and it was a great one! Higher Pursuits made…read morebooking online really easy, the pricing was fair, many different options as to what type of boat you wanted for the day, and offered updates on Facebook in regards to weather/closings for the day. The location was really easy to find, once we arrived we checked in and were offered some general information about what to do and the location of changing rooms/restrooms. We were also given instructions about the route we would be floating, the vast collection of mussels we may see, and information about other wildlife we may come across, and safteg information. The launch is a quick drive from the base location. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. They got us all set up and sent us on our way. The water was shallow, but still had some nice current in places. The Duck River was extremely peaceful, and not over crowded (the spacing out between groups from Higher Pursuits helped with that greatly). Getting picked up at the end, and knowing where to stop was also made to be a breeze. Higher Pursuits runs things like a well oiled machine and really has a great system going! Between the ease of everything, the peaceful kayaking location, and the friendly customer service I could not have asked for a better experience!
