One, more "seasoned" sales person told the other that she just randomly makes up the price when it is not marked on an item and if customer is "stupid enough to accept the price" then that is what it is sold for. Both employees laughed it off. My sister had already purchased an item before we heard this exchange which she did not hear. Since then, Friday April 10, 2026, we have shared this information to discourage other "stupid" shoppers from giving this store any business. Shame on them for their LOW CLASS treatment of consumers. We came across this company on some Instagram stories, and my wife was exited to make her very own hat. Located inside the L&L Market, we walked past it at first since we were looking for a storefront, but found the booth near the Thai restaurant. Two people were working and both of them were amazingly helpful, friendly, and skilled. You are well-served to have an appointment (which we did) because those take priority over walk-in. Plan on spending at least an hour. You start with picking the hat which will be the base of your creation. They can trim, shape, burn, etc the hat to match your wishes. You can add stitching, wraps, jewels, have them hand-carved burned designs, and more. There's so many options! These artists are endlessly patient and offer great suggestions. One of our design choices (an intricate burned design) needed more time, so we came back another day to pick it up when finished. The work was great. You'll spend a decent chunk here ($200-400 range depending on what you do), but for a custom piece of art that doesn't seem awful. If you're reading this review you're probably already interested, so just let me reassure you that it'll be a good experience!

Was super excited to see the creation. Met Eddie, he was the person who helped me design the most beautiful hat ever. He was extremely helpful super sweet, patient and helpful. He gave me so many ideas and choices and options, he is the go to. At the end the hat was absolutely stunning, will be sharing a pix of it in daylight since lighting at the shop is not too good, you wouldn't be able to appreciate the art. Tucked between the Broadway Honky-tonks, Nashville Gifts may not be honky-tonking the greatest price, however, their selection is impressive. For example, their t-shirts were over $20 and Nashville caps cost around $30. But to be honest, I saw that the only Downtown Walgreens charged similar prices for Nashville caps. As far as selection, I am a fan. They provide a grand array of gifts from t-shirts to place mats. As for me, I am a magnet collector, and purchased a Nashville magnet to add to my refrigerator collection. In hindsight I would've purchased a Nashville book mark. Just like a popular honky-tonk, Nashville Gifts was extraordinarily busy in similar style to Legends Gifts across the street. I am not a fan of crowds. On our last full day in Nashville when my Dad and Brother returned to pick up more souvenirs, I waited outside on Broadway taking in the horse drawn carriages with the AT&T Tower towering above the historic streetscape. Due to solid management, the long lines moved fast with good customer service that included the clerk wrapping up my magnet. That magnet with my pictures and yelps are my reminders of visiting Music City USA.

The staff members mostly stay around register to help customers with checkout. We stopped by this store multiple times, bought stuff like a book, magnet and picture frame from here. We went during weekend peak hours, so had to wait about 10 minutes to checkout.
