Nashville Powder Coating picked up, sandblasted, and powder coated my fifteen year old patio furniture then delivered it back to me. It took a bit of time as they were not satisfied the first time they coated it and did it over on their own. I am beyond happy with the results. I purchased 6 cast iron urns 16 years ago. We moved to Virginia, Seattle Washington and back to the Nashville area in that time. These urns were in need of attention- because you could not tell what the original color of the urns were due to the rust. Through my google search I contacted Nashville Powder Coating and spoke with Andy. We set up a date when they would pick up the urns, discussed color choices and when the work would be completed, along with the cost. Andy was extremely helpful and professional. Yesterday Ray and Fallon delivered our urns to us and we couldn't be any happier with how they turned out. The color Andy recommended was PERFECT. My experience was very positive from start to finish. I brought in an old bathroom cabinet to Nashville Powder Coating that needed sandblasting and painting. I was told it would be about a month, but after two months had not heard back. I called, and it was not quite ready; but they finished it later that day. Apparently bigger and more important jobs sidelined my cabinet. I was warned that the sandblasting might mess up the thin metal sides of the cabinet, which I though was just a standard disclaimer. Well, it was not...the right side of the cabinet was damaged quite a bit, including making a small hole. However, the left side, had no damage at all. So maybe it was two different people sandblasting or perhaps the technician just needed a little more practice; which he got tearing up the first side of my cabinet. When I picked up the cabinet, no mention was made of the mess. There were also a lot of splashed stains around the bottom of the cabinet, from where it had been sitting so long; some paint chipping where it had been banged by someone; a bit of paint that had dripped on the front. Besides the sandblasting damage these are small things, but perhaps indicate what they thought of my business. read more

I have been using these guys for a while now but ate last year I began having issues with their quality of work. I was called to pick up several batches of parts that I had to reject some of because of lack of coverage and or coating parts with the wrong color. One particular part wasn't coated correctly three times in a row after a very thorough explanation of what I wanted. Another time, two identical parts were masked differently. They always redid the parts that had issues but they wasted large amounts of my time by not even looking over their work to catch these issues before trying to give them back to me. Even after having a talk with the owner over their attempt to put a minimum charge on a small order after they had just screwed up a large order of mine, I kept trying to use their services as they are near my shop and the price was always good. Earlier this year I decided to give them one last chance to do a good job. I brought them a decent sized steel panel to coat. When I was called to pick it up, there were multiple spots with scarce or non existent coverage so I rejected it. They attempted to redo the bare spots by mixing powder with MEK to touch up the bare spots and baking the part again. This time they delivered the panel to me wrapped up. Once I unwrapped it I found a sloppy touch up job that was glossy instead of matte black. I had to bring the panel back to them for their 3rd attempt. They tried to overcoat the entire thing this time but it gave them problems and they decided to completely strip the entire thing and coat it again. The 4th attempt left many of the previously mentioned bare spots looking like globs of bubbly black crap and the other spots looked like crappy welds in what were clean and sharp corners with no welds, yet they still called me down to come and get it. Again I rejected it and that is when one of the guys there threw up his arms and yelled "What is it? What's wrong now?" Then he stormed off. Next I spoke with another guy and the owner I believe. At that point I asked for my money back and reimbursement for my now ruined part. They didn't like that at all and they were both less than professional with me. Am I expected to wait months for them to get it right when they have repeatedly demonstrated their inability to get it right? How many times should I be expected to come and get parts that had obvious visual issues? This place seemingly has no amount of quality control or they just don't care about my parts. I'll be taking all of my parts elsewhere from now on. read more
