Members of my family have been patients with Nashville Restorative Dentistry for 5+ years. I have nothing but affirmations and accolades for the personnel and professionalism of this practice! Dr. Jones, Dr. Estes, Danielle, Eric, Cami, Sue, Pam, Ellen, Cassie, Betsy, Tonya.....they're all outstanding and exemplary in their fields of knowledge and patient care. Recently, however, my out-of-state, graduate-level college daughter experienced a dental emergency. As you would imagine, the available time for the necessary restorations was not part of the graduate level program schedule. In desperation I called this office, explaining the needed care and imploring their help. Given the extensive nature of the work and my trust in this team to do it PROPERLY, I believed the best option was sedative dentistry in which the work could be done in 1-2 days. In short notice, this team went to work on my daughter's behalf. Now keep in mind, she had been living away from home for some time and thus was not a patient on record at this office. Where other offices may have justifiably denied her access to care, Nashville Restorative Dentistry's approach toward her healthcare challenge appeared to anchor from a "how can we" perspective placing the patient care , compassion, and concern as a priority. In the end, the scheduling challenges, new patient challenges, dental emergency challenge, and time challenges were all overcome and this team displayed their outstanding abilities in the field of dentistry! In one day, 9 hours of sedation dentistry with Dr. Estes, and Danielle, with Eric to tag team giving Danielle enough time to grab an PB&J sandwich, my daughter's work was masterfully completed. I say masterfully because the depth of knowledge this team possesses collectively and the professional care that they extend to their patients is EXTRAordinary! In short, no matter where on the dental care spectrum you fall, from a routine cleaning to an emergency dental restoration, you will never go wrong by placing your trust and resources into the care of this practice. Wow! Say goodbye to your anxiety about going to the dentist! I was so impressed with everyone at this practice! They treat you like family. Cami warmly greets you at the front desk and also schedules most appointments. She worked us in several weeks earlier than we were originally scheduled for. When she says she'll do something, she means it! The atmosphere is inviting and tranquil. We were very early, as we drove quite a distance to my daughter's appointment. Our wait was pleasant & my daughter was seen not long after the scheduled time. The dental assistant was very knowledgeable. My daughter was offered a soft blanket that she quickly snuggled into. She's 4, these are important things!:) Dr. Jones was very courteous and knowledgeable! He's was great with my daughter. He offered a treatment plan that we were comfortable with. My family tries to avoid toxins and treat health and dental problems as conservatively as possible. Dr. Jones was able to meet our needs! They do dentistry differently! They are not an insurance based practice, but will check to see if your insurance will pay and file for you. I look forward to going back there. Top notch, A+ dentist with amazing staff! My toddler is having some work done next week and I have been very nervous. Dr Jones said I could email him any time with questions. I have been emailing him asking him soooo many questions about the procedure to help myself be more comfortable. He has responded to every email with a thorough explanation and hasn't made me feel crazy for all the questions I have. We drove 2 hours to see him after visiting several other dentists! I will update with more info after the procedure Update: his procedure was today. I was a mess. Dr. Yezerski the anesthesiologist was amazing. He was so reassuring and Weston gravitated towards him immediately. After meeting him and the nurse I had such a peace about the procedure. The ladies at the desk are also so wonderful and would go check on Weston for me when I was feeling anxious and encouraged me when I was upset as he went back. They gave me homeopathic remedies for pain which I think is amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this office and I'm very picky. I will continue to drive 2 hours for dental care when the experience is this amazing. read more

Seriously, if it weren't for Nashville Restorative Dentistry I likely would have no teeth left in my head. Dr Jones and his staff are wonderful and take good care of me. I am as much a dentalphobic as anyone you'll ever meet but they take care of that part too, making sure I am comfortable at every phase of treatment. Everyone there is just terrific; Dr. Jones, Cami, Eric, Danielle, Betsy, Pam, Cassie, and especially Tonya and ELLEN who is the BESTEST OF ALL. Not sure what I'd do without all these folks...probably I'd be gumming my dinners which might be good for my figure but not much for my overall health. Not only was the staff unbelievably kind to my 2 year old son who was having his very first dentist visit this week, BUT they were exceptionally professional and knowledgable. The fact that their office was luxurious, their computer checkin system efficient, and their products for sale THE BEST ON THE MARKET, it really added to the quality of the visit. I am happy to say that after looking at my sons mouth, the doctor was able to give me a quick solution to his tooth problem that our pediatrician did not recommend. Since he was seen yesterday, he has used the recommended toothpaste twice and my sons teeth look PERFECTLY WHITE AND SPARKLY after months of struggling to get stains off. 24hrs ago I thought we had a big problem, but after the visit yesterday, they completely fixed our problem in under 24hrs. I really like the way they don't pressure you to do everything they propose. I've fixed a lot of dental problems with them and chose them for their cautionary and professional approach to replacing mercury fillings. They did an excellent job! They wanted to take xrays more often than I wanted, but were very gracious in not pushing anything while giving cogent rationale for their approach. They respect the patient as a decision maker... my former dentist just pushed for his approach and said "Trust me... I'm the professional." That doesn't work. I too am a professional and while it would be great if all of my clients agreed on my course of action and were willing to pay for it, not all agree. I like the way Dr. Jones professionally joins with the patient in decision making. read more

I've been going to Dr. Jones for 5 years, and he and his practice staff are magnificent! I just got a crown replaced yesterday and they completed the entire process, including creating the new ceramic crown, right there in the office. No temporary crown! One visit and done. Plus, if you've never heard of it, Dr. Jones uses a relatively new technology for crowns and inlay restorations (cavities), called CEREC. Think 3D printing for new teeth. Super impressive process, and the ceramic material used is not only stronger than regular crowns but more biologically compatible with your body than standard ceramic/metal crowns. And they look great! You cannot tell that a CEREC restoration is a restoration at all. It looks like a natural tooth! read more

I highly recommend NRD. I was diagnosed with being "highly reactive" (allergic) to materials previously used in my fillings. Dr. Estes, Dr. Jones, Eric Jackson and Sue Erwin did a great job with obtaining my dental records, reviewing my biomedical report and planning an appropriate plan-of-care. Eric, Dr. Estes and Dr. Jones were very patient and thorough with the 2-day procedure to remove the previous fillings and replace them with holistic materials that were non-reactive with my immune system. I had 2 teeth removed recently. I felt well-informed and well-prepped every step of the way by the assistant, Danielle. My teeth were hard to get out, but Dr. Jones did not rush anything, and everything came out fine. I appreciated the fact that he called me at home within a few hours to check on me. I iced every 20 minutes on and off for 3 hours before going to bed and took only ibuprofen. The next day I had no swelling, bruising or pain. I haven't had to take one of the prescription pain pills. Not only are they the first (and only) biologic dentist in Middle Tennessee (that's no heavy metals, folks), but everything in their office is state-of-the-art (ie, no spitting!). I had my mercury filling removal today. I was a little nervous and hesitant to have it done but also to go during the covid-19 virus. But right away they put me at ease taking the proper protocol to make sure I was safe and everyone else. My daughter had a pretty bad issue with her teeth and we drove two hours each way from our home in Kentucky to have her seen here because of how compassionate and knowledgeable they are! The restorative Denistry team has achieved remarkable results. After 6 years in the Middle East with no denistry my mouth and teeth were not in good shape. They have correctly identified the condition of both. In 9 months I went from 80% bleeding gums to less than 10%; they also have tracked with my MD Dr the dangerous bacteria in my mouth and they have effectively eradicated the dangerous bacteria. Beyond that each check up and cleaning they performed it with no pain and have used state of the art equipment and techniques. They do an excellent job, well worth the cost. read more
