Great time at the park: - Gluten free options - not sure - Great atmosphere - Prices reasonable - Friendly staff - Entertaining staff Sounds lost to the Stripers but we all had a great time!

We have wanted to visit the Nashville Sounds Triple-A club for several years. We want to view their massive guitar scoreboard; believe me, it is most impressive. We went to a game with a special giveaway, a Vihuelas de Nashville Scarf Giveaway. The crowd started to arrive two hours before game time since the giveaway was limited to the first 1,000 fans. Since it was our first time at the ballpark, I was unaware of where to park; I noticed a parking garage next to the stadium called First Horizon Park Parking. The wife asked some locals about parking there since the website for the Sounds states, "There will be a fee associated with this garage. The parking garage is NOT available Monday through Friday before 5:30 p.m." That's what deters a lot of fans from venturing out to unknown destinations: the stress of parking. Again, it was right next to the ballpark and free. Zero issues. Next, we purchased tickets at the ticket window and waited two hours for the gates to open. We received our scarves and walked around checking out the stadium's features. We quickly noticed several features that differed from other Triple-A clubs--enough said. Stop and check out a game if you're in the Nashville area or passing through on a game day.

Amazing vibes ... they really knocked it out of the park ;) there aren't any hot dogs like these. they're succulent iykyk avoid the pepperoni sauce ... it's like the inside of a tostino's pizza roll ... #interesting

Always a fun time at Nashville Sounds games! They involve the community in serval ways. For example, last night a local high school sang the National Anthem. Stadium is beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of food options, variety of seating options and ticket prices.

Had an excellent adventure and family time at the Sounds game. Private seating with our own dedicated servers was great and had a nice view of the field and the fans. Food was tasty and beer was cold. No cash used and no smoking inside the venue.

I love coming to games here! There's something for everyone to enjoy! We love the lawn seating. We bring blankets, lay out and Enjoy! Mini golf is fun, lots of food options (even though the lines are typically terribly long), and great scenery! We've caught a ball during the game, and have even found ourselves up on the jumbotron!

This was fun and cheap! I literally know nothing of baseball. This can be a great first date place to go! Ladies bring a wallet and not a purse!

Had so much fun here last night. We went on a Wednesday and it was busier than I thought. Really good vibes, games, drinks, food. and a good crowd of people. The stadium is very clean and plenty of shade!

Bark at the park was a BLAST! We need more events like these more often. The foods great, and being able to bring your dog and enjoy baseball is even better!

We have visited many baseball stadiums and First Horizon Park is definitely one of the better ones. It not only is an affordable option to watch a decent game, the park has a lot to offer. The guitar shaped scoreboard is in line with Music City's atmosphere. There is a miniature golf, batting cage and several game options , i.e. ping pong, corn hole, shuffleboard etc. The Band Box has many drink options and Thirsty Thursday is an affordable option . The whiskey slushies are a fan favorite, mine too, even though a bit pricey. There are many drink and food options throughout the park. The food options are the standard ballpark food. During the game the food lines are very long. The park does have a no purse/bag policy and only clear bags are allowed.

Why was this guy let in with a backpack & I got turned away bc of a 9 inch wristlet?
    Hayley M.

I wasn't allowed to enter the stadium bc my wristlet was too big. It's 9 inches long. I had to walk all the way back to my car in Germantown to put it there. When I returned I saw this man with basically a backpack. What are the rules here??

    Legends of country music race

Nice park nestled in downtown Nashville. Foodies should order from the Band Box, a food stand (near the bar of the same name) that offers slightly more interesting options (all other concessions have the usual overpriced ballpark fare). The only reason I deducted one star is that the prices are too high for a minor league park. To that end, if you're not part of a large group, buy a general admission ticket for the berm and then find a better seat once the game starts. I've never seen it sold out in the 5 times I've been there. The fans are great and welcoming (or at least tolerant) of fans for the opposing team. And don't miss the legends of country music race!

The only bad seat is the general admission grass seating. Eat before you go as the food is very pricey!

The Tennessee Titans rate somewhere around three ("OK") to four stars ("Good") for me. On the one…read morehand, this isn't a bad team. They've had many playoff appearances. If you go back to the team's first two seasons, 1960 and 1961, they won back-to-back AFL championships. The AFL is what we know today as the AFC. Back then, the Titans were the Houston Oilers. On the other hand, since the Super Bowl era began in 1967, the Oilers/Titans have zero Super Bowl championships and only one Super Bowl appearance (Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000; 1999 season). If you look at the team's history as the Tennessee Titans (1999-present), again, it's not bad, but it's not great either. The team has made the playoffs 10 of the last 23 years. They've advanced to the AFC Championship Game three times (2000, 2003, and 2020 for the 1999, 2002, and 2019 seasons, respectively) and won the AFC title once. Jeff Fisher was the man in Tennessee (and Houston). He was the head coach of the Titans (and Oilers) from 1994 to 2010, 16+ seasons. He had to deal with rebuilding the team plus moves from Houston to Memphis to Nashville. Ultimately, Fisher went 142-120 (.542) in the regular season and 5-6 (.455) in the postseason as the Titans head coach. Since Fisher, coaches Mike Munchak, Ken Whisenhunt (Georgia Tech alum), and Mike Mularkey combined for only one Titans playoff appearance in seven seasons. Current head coach Mike Vrabel, who won three Super Bowls as a linebacker for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, currently has the Titans on the right track. Vrabel was a highly-successful player in college (Ohio State) and the pros and now he's proving his worth as a first-time NFL head coach. So far, Vrabel has led Tennessee to a winning record every year since he signed on in 2018. Since the 2019 season, the Titans have qualified for the playoffs every year. Also since 2019, the team's regular season record has improved every year: 9-7 in 2019, 11-5 in 2020, and 12-5 in 2021. Vrabel was named NFL Coach of the Year for the 2021 season and in February 2022, the Titans extended his contract. Rest in peace, Steve McNair (1973-2009). He was the Titans' starting QB in Super Bowl XXXIV. He was also the league MVP in 2003. Other standouts during the Tennessee Titans era include running backs Eddie George (1996-2003), Chris Johnson (2008-2013), and Derrick Henry (2016-present). I had Henry on one of my fantasy football teams last season (2021). He suffered a major injury in Week 8. Before the injury, he was on pace to be the top-producing player in fantasy football. Both Johnson and Henry won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award: Johnson in 2009 and Henry in 2020. Johnson and Henry are two of only eight players in NFL history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a single season. The Titans are the only team to have more than one player in the "2,000-yard club."

The club level was excellent, and I felt it was a good value for the ticket price. Unfortunately, the Titans fans in our section were already inebriated at kickoff, and cussed each other throughout the game, and had to be physically restrained multiple times (they settled down momentarily when a security officer stopped by). My son felt unsafe, and I couldn't enjoy the game, wondering if I'd have to shield him from a fight(s). I doubt we will be going to any Titans games in the future, and definitely not during evening games.

Since that time, the team ranks fifth in the league in all-time points percentage (regular season). After getting off to a slow start that included five consecutive seasons of zero playoff appearances, Nashville now routinely qualifies for the playoffs. The team won its first conference championship (Western Conference) in 2017 and advanced to the Stanley Cup Finals. All in all, not bad. The 2017 Finals pitted the Predators against the well-established Pittsburgh Penguins and NHL superstar Sidney Crosby. The Preds fared relatively well against the Pens, extending the series to six games which, unfortunately, ended on a 2-0 home loss inside Bridgestone Arena. That season (2016-17), Nashville was led by team captain Mike Fisher and guys like Filip Forsberg, Viktor Arvidsson, Ryan Johansen, and Roman Josi. Forsberg, Johansen, and Rosi still play for Nashville today and all three rank among the franchise's all-time leaders in points, goals, and assists. The all-time leader in all three categories is David Legwand. Legwand was drafted by the Predators in 1998 (2nd overall pick) and played 15 seasons for Nashville. The 2017 Predators were coached by current Washington Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette. Laviolette led the Carolina Hurricanes to the 2006 Stanley Cup championship and also led the Philadelphia Flyers to the 2010 Stanley Cup Finals. He's one of only four coaches to lead three different NHL teams to the Finals. Nashville's appearance in the 2017 Finals was the first time a major professional sports team from Tennessee advanced to a championship game. With Laviolette (2014-2020) and the franchise's first head coach, Barry Trotz (1998-2014), the Predators have had some pretty decent coaches. Now a seasoned veteran, the beloved Trotz got his NHL head coaching start in Nashville. Four years after leaving Nashville in 2014, Trotz led the Caps to the Stanley Cup title in 2018. In January 2020, current Preds head coach John Hynes signed a three-year deal that will see him through the 2021-22 NHL season. It will be interesting to see if Nashville sticks with Hynes past 2022.

The game Footy is some kind of hybrid between American Football, Soccer, and Rugby. The way the do the scoring is related to soccer, and football with a certain number of points assigned based on whether the ball is kicked over a goal post or whether it is carried across the line. I don't completely understand the rules yet, but it is a lot of fun to watch. The game is very fast paced, and I really like the way the do the scoring for the game. Each goal has a score keeper and the score keeper has two flags. Based on the score the flag bearer does some choreographed moves to indicate the score. He wears a white coat and hat and waves the flags in a very formal way. It is enough fun for me just to go and watch the flags wave. Also, the men that seem to gravitate to this sport are quiet buff.
