Always a great meal. Service is excellent and food is fantastic.... All of it. Every time we have dined there it is excellent.

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday around 1 PM with my cousin, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The service was unacceptable. The server, an older woman, was consistently rude and dismissive in her behavior. While I cannot confirm intent, the interaction felt uncomfortable enough to raise concerns about whether bias may have played a role. I have rarely encountered such discourteous treatment in any restaurant. After handing us the menu, she returned to take our order. When my cousin pointed to Thai basil fried rice, she abruptly said it was only available on a different menu or day. I then pointed to "Thai basil vegetables" and asked if that referred to Thai basil fried rice, and she said yes before quickly taking the menu away without properly clarifying. When I asked whether the dish contained egg or meat, she confirmed it did not. She did not ask about water preferences and brought us warm water without ice. When the food arrived, it was not fried rice but plain white rice with vegetables. When I raised the issue, she insisted I had ordered that item. When my cousin tried to explain that he had specifically asked about Thai basil fried rice, she told him to stop speaking for me, which was highly unprofessional. What made the situation worse was that when she tried to justify the order by pointing to the menu, she was unable to locate any listing for Thai basil fried rice on that same menu, which further highlighted the confusion and lack of clarity in her explanation. Eventually, she brought the correct dish, but I noticed the incorrect item was then served to another customer, which was concerning. The portion size was also quite small, though I understand this has been mentioned in other reviews. Toward the end of the meal, she cleared the table prematurely, taking my cousin's plate while he was still eating without asking. That was the final point of frustration. Due to the overall experience, I left no tip and made that clear on the receipt. I strongly caution others to be aware of the service here. If a restaurant is not prepared to treat customers with basic respect and professionalism, it should reconsider its standards of operation. read more

Without a doubt, the best Asian fusion... Thai Malaysian, sushi ... they have incredible variety, and dishes you won't find elsewhere. Over two years of eating here when visiting the area, (I and my wife visit the area every summer to sail the area.) Nasi is our first choice for a nice lunch or dinner out. They always treat us like family... very friendly and kind. Nasi recently updated the interior to a more open plan, with tables along one side, and the sushi bar on the other. Having always ordered Malaysian dishes, we tried their sushi on our most recent visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep in mind this review considers food prep, taste, price, and service. First things first - if you want to pick up, make sure you order from their website, and NOT from uber or DoorDash. Pricing is drastically different. I ordered through Yelp, which defaulted me to DoorDash. The nice woman at the front mentioned this to me, so I looked at the price. I would have saved $9 on the two items I ordered if I ordered through their website. I ordered the Philly sushi roll, and it was very good, and good sized. I also ordered the Pad Thai, got it spicy. It was nicely spiced if you like a little heat. The chicken and tofu were good. Flavor overall was very nice. Only criticism is the noodles were over cooked, but the flavor was nice, so I can overlook that. Got chicken chow fun and wonton soup by delivery, so keep in mind it's probably so better perfectly fresh. The wonton soup was a stand out, its wontons were super bouncy and flavorful, the broth was very sesame forward and delicious. The soup came in a pint container, it was about 2/3 full with three medium dumplings. This was enough for me but wanted to note the portion size. Exactly what I needed in this cold weather. It's certainly an Asian Fusion establishment with sushi, Thai and Malaysian entrees. We have ordered Thai Basil Vegetables with Chicken, Mango Chicken, Red Curry Vegetables, Shrimp Drunken Noodles and the Volcano Roll All the entrees were great as well as the sushi. Even though our entrees, were marked as "Spicy" nothing was particularly hot. Everything was flavorful, but not spicy at all. I love the 2 routine dishes I get here as well as the appetizer. My food is always hot and very tasty. I get pretty basic dishes, shrimp fried rice and Singapore rice noodles. I typically have food from here about once a week. They have now lost a loyal customer over something very simple but for me it's the principle. My issue is when dining in. They serve their dishes in large bowls. I don't eat a lot and always have leftovers. Because of this, I like a plate to eat off of so I can let others enjoy the leftovers. They will provide a plate, however, only a bread plate. On multiple occasions, I have asked for a regular size or larger plate. They definitely have them but I am told I cannot haven, only the bread plate. The plate is so small that I cannot put some of my two dishes on the plate at once. When you try to scoop the rice it fall onto the table because the plate is so small. The workers are all petrified to provide a large plate. I have spoken directly with the owner who has said no. I have decided if my business is not appreciated and you cannot accommodate something so simple, I will take my business elsewhere. It's a shame because I really did like it here. read more

"Malay Thai Sushi" is a new combo for us so we didn't know what to expect walking in. The first thing we ran into was a guy standing behind a counter, much like a bouncer in a bar, but for take out orders. Once we walked past that we saw the seated area and was briskly shown a booth. The menu is extensive and as veggies we had more than a few options. We tried a red curry and drunken noodles. My dining partner loved her red curry, slurping it up like soup! The main dish I chose was the drunken noodles which were quite oily with a little chicken and some strips of peppers fried in. Just ok. Tried the samosas, mostly pastry with a little glob of some slightly curry tasting filling, I would not recommend these. The veggie spring rolls I was expecting to be wrapped in rice paper, but I didn't ask. They were in fact small bits of veggies wrapped in greasy pastry rolls with a somewhat crisp exterior. Not bad tasting, just not what I was expecting. The best thing was the sushi, which I can positively recommend. Fairly well made and fresh tasting, about what you should expect for decent sushi rolls. If I wanted a more authentic Thai dish I would probably try my luck elsewhere next time. If you like to try something more adventurous, you may want to give here a try. This is a family owned restaurant that specialize in Malaysian and Southeast Asian flavors. It is one of the few places that serves Beef Rendang ( Malaysian Beef Curry ) in this part of the US. Beef Rendang was featured on Food Network done by Gordon Ramsay. The sushi selection here is also quite good, with many types of house rolls and specialty rolls. All dishes are flavorful, and reasonable in price. Staff are friendly and attentive. Seating and tables are cozy, and comes with a bar. And if you're in northern part of Delaware, you can also visit their sister restaurant, Rasa Sayang on Rt 202. I'm a little late with this review because it was back on Dec 29. We met up with family here and there were a total of 10 of us. We called ahead and they reserved 2 tables for us by the window. Because it was winter and about 0 degrees that day, it was freezing in there and we all had to wear our coats during the meal. We could feel the cold coming in through the windows. Crystal was our server and she was friendly. My side of the table ordered Malaysian Margaritas which were delicious, Kani Salads, Satay chicken skewers, Shrimp Pad Thai, Godzilla roll, California roll, Yummy Mommy roll, and Spicy Shrimp roll. The prices here for the rolls and pad thai are very reasonable. Our wait was pretty long throughout the meal because of the number of people we had, and the food didn't all come out at the same time for everyone. The one thing about the food is I was sad about the roti canai... just seemed a bit overpriced for a little scoop of sauce and some bread. It was an arrangement of all different veggie in a sashimi style and one roll. The roll had fried sweet potato in it that added a good crunch, it was my favorite of the sushi options. The red curry was spicy but not anything too hot. It had a wide selection of vegetables but was very soupy. We were able to eat most of the veggies but there was a lot of "soup" left over. With the rice there was not nearly enough to soak up the "soup". Everyone else in my party also seemed very satisfied with there meals.
