This restaurant was not busy at all. It's a cute place with good customer service and great atmosphere. The chef (possibly owner) was there with her children and they were so pleasant! Everything I ordered came out promptly and was delicious. I love spicy food, and ordered the spicy beef soup and soup dumplings, with a cold tea.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy. The lady that waited on me was personable and attentive. The food was fresh, plentiful and tasted great. Service did not take long and the temperature was great.

Came in for a quick lunch. Super friendly staff and the spot is really clean and tidy. I ordered the beef soup and it was really good. The broth was really flavorful, and spicy as requested. I would have preferred the veggie version, as I wasn't in the mood for the cut of meat. There was a fresh orange for me at the end of the meal and that was really refreshing!

This is a small noodle restaurant I first noticed when dropping off packages to the UPS Store. We went for lunch on a Monday and found the place nicely decorated for a strip mall restaurant. I had a small Sesame Chicken with noodles and my wife had the Pad Thai. It was wonderful. Fresh ingredients and great service from the couple (perhaps the owners?) running the place.

New restaurant located conveniently near the Christiana hospital. The restaurant seemed to be family owned. The restaurant has plenty of seating. The menu had several items that I would come back and try. I decided to try out the general tso chicken. I upgraded to noodles instead of rice. The portion size was pretty big and I had plenty leftover. The beef bulgogi buns were huge! I only was able to finish one. The bun was soft, but was a little mushy from all juices from the beef. This is definitely a place to check out. I hope they get some businesses during lunch time. I was surprised to see an empty restaurant during dinner time.

Absolutely love this place! The noodles are top-notch--authentic and easily the best in the North Delaware area. Don't skip the A1 Spicy Sweet Cucumber--it's fire. And you must get the hot tea--fragrant with floral notes, not the sad tea bag stuff other spots serve.

Excellent place for very tasty noodles and other asian dishes. I went on a monday night for takeout, not busy. Its a sit down or take out place. very clean, modern decor, very casual. I ordered the Chicken Ramen Soup, $13.95, and the Shrimp Shumai. Waited about 5-10 minutes, and the friendly courteous cashier brought out my order snd bagged it very neatly & securely, it was $19.90 I drove home smelling the wonderful aroma. Got home & unpacked my order and put my soup together- the broth was in a separate container. The Shrimp Shumai was just aweome. nicely grilled, tender, flavorful, came with a dipping sauce. The Chicken Ramen Soup was just wonderful- lots of noodles, tasty chicken peices, veggies, a hard boiled egg, all in a tasty creamy broth. So very delicious. would definitely go back.

The consistency! Food is fresh, flavorful. With great portion sizes. The egg rolls are amazing, a great crisp and filling. Shumai isn't too bready, very fresh. Soup dumplings are awesome and filling. General Tso is a little sweeter than preferred. Mongolian beef is good, tender. The pad Thai is wonderful and plentiful. Spicy cucumber is good, not too spicy. Service is great, quick and inviting. Casual ambiance with moderate seating. Good for a quick eat.

On a cold, blustery November day there's nothing better than a steaming bowl of chicken pad Thai along with a delicious Thai iced tea: I got both at Asian Noodle House. It doesn't look like much on the outside. It seems like just another strip mall restaurant but the decor inside is nice: nice mural on the wall, nice booths, decorative bowls. Also the portion sizes are quite big so you're getting your money's worth.

Small, quiet and delicious. Soup dumplings are the best I've had in Delaware. Can't wait sit to take some home for my partner and kid!

With me being Asian and my family being familiar with Asian cuisine we looked forward to trying this new restaurant. We usually do a quick scan of the clientele to see if Asians are actually dining in the Asian restaurant. Didn't see many. I may have been the only Asian in our section. Staff consisted of mix of Asians and non-Asians. Before the food came out our waiter brought over a little black plate with 4 white towelettes rolled up like little marshmallows. My youngest thought it was a marshmallow and tried to eat it. We stopped him! Coincidentally, the booth behind us had a large party of adults and one of the adults did the same. Makes for a good laugh but down the road this could be a huge liability. Osaka restaurant should change up the presentation before a customer chokes on the little towelette. We started out with scallion pancakes, egg rolls, wonton soup, and hot & sour soup. Scallion pancakes were hot, crispy, and tasty. Egg rolls were blah. No flavor and all cabbage. No protein mixed in. Wonton soup is as basic as you can get. It was delicious! However, Hot and sour soup was a huge disappointment. It was dark colored water with a slight soy sauce and black pepper flavor. Where was the sour? Where was the heat? No black mushrooms. This had to be an off night for this restaurant. Taste test the batch before serving. The entrées. My son ordered sweet & sour chicken. Without requesting separate sauce, Osaka served the sauce on the side. Perfect for my son. He likes to dip the chicken into the sauce and eat with white rice. Since the chicken was served plain we all tried a piece to taste test the quality. Actually not bad. My son finished his whole dinner. Portion was huge too. My other son ordered Mala chicken. Delicious mix of chicken and vegetables with spicy heat. Huge portion. Definitely a favorite. My husband ordered Orange Chicken. Chicken was crispy on the outside, tender inside and sauce was sweet with orange flavor. Mild spice. He devoured almost all of it. Again another huge portion. I ordered the Teriyaki beef. It came with a side of steamed broccoli and rice. I chose brown rice. This beef was so tender and tasty. Melt in your mouth kind of tender. Teriyaki flavor could have been a little more intense but not bad at all. I would definitely order this again. Huge portion served. I ended up taking half of this home. It made for a pretty good lunch the next day. We finished off our meal with a shared dessert; Fried banana with vanilla ice cream. Order this dessert!! Don't live with regret missing out on this happy ending. My overall take on this place... try it out. It's Asian food in the suburbs. Not quite Chinatown or upper mainline but it's pretty good for Asian food in Downingtown. Huge portions. Some things are hit or miss but my guess is it's just starting out. Osaka is definitely worth checking out and coming back for your favorite dishes. (The other restaurants owned with Osaka are pretty good too.)

It's a bit of a conundrum to find the entrance; it's on the back side, up a flight of stairs. The dining room brims with families, couples, groups of friends, seniors--all walks of life. One table away from me, sat a father and young son heartily munching on their dinners. I decided to ask them about the menu. The father told me that they come here once a month because his son is a picky eater, but loves GuGu's cooking, so consumes everything on his plate; and the dad thinks the place is the bomb. Started with the gyoza appetizer and enjoyed it very much. My seaweed salad was fresh and generous although the dressing was not to my liking, however able to change it up with some soy sauce and wasabi. A red curry duck main that I went with was luscious, meaty and satisfying. All dishes were nicely presented. Service is professional. I appreciate the linen-like, deposable napkins that are a part of the place setting--nicely absorbent. I agree with others that it takes time for food to arrive, but worth the wait.

Each bento comes with rice, edamame, two steamed dumplings, miso soup, and a California roll. You can upgrade the roll for $2 so we got the shrimp tempura roll. They thoughtfully packed the sauce separately so that our shrimp and beef would not get soggy. The sauce for the yuzu shrimp was delicious. I really enjoyed the twist on the typical walnut shrimp dish. I liked the fried shrimp in the bang bang dish best. My only gripe about that dish was that there was not enough sauce. The shrimp in the Thai basil dish was small and I would not get that again. The miso soup was on the salty side for us but it is a generous portion. The shrimp tempura roll was good and comes with 5 larger pieces. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and think that they do a really nice job with take-out. Would come back here again when I'm in the area.
