Yuck. They were interested in seeing the inside of the house so I gave them the grand tour. Was told I would get a quote once they got back from vacation. They seemed like they were very knowledgeable on a game plan for the property but truthfully I was hiring someone because I know nothing on this topic. The scope of work was to bring in clean loam for the front and back, run an 8 zone; 40 head irrigation system and hydro seed the grounds. Upon their return they sent me a message after I reached out to them stating they were not interested in the job. Said that the issues with the build made it such that they didn't want to get "involved." Made zero sense as one had zero to do with the other. At the end of the day they told me in summary...... "We make so much during the winter that the projects we take on during the summer are to pay for their vacations and such." Great to know you run a successful business. Next I was expecting them to show their checking account. So unprofessional in more than one way. Unneeded service provider.

They agreed to become my plow service this winter because I had just gotten divorced and my ex usually snowplowed. They were very nice and took my credit card eagerly. I have never seen such shitty work in my life. I moved from the home, back with my parents where I was safe and the SEVEN different times I returned to the home I was NEVER able to get up to my home!! The driveway has been a sheet of ice EVERY TIME and I have gotten stuck and had to be towed twice!! I just received a phone call from my father who is now stuck in the driveway AGAIN with the locksmith and the tow truck is now stuck!!! They are all stranded waiting for a another tow truck!!! The response from Family Lawn Care: "We just plow...we aren't responsible for ice, sand or salt." However, they didn't mind charging my credit card every single time they "plowed and salted" my driveway. In fact, the last time this happened I spoke with the owner and he said that he would be right over with sand and salt to help. He never showed up. He also told me that he was waiting for the weather to warm up so he could get rid of the ice. On a unusually warm 45 degree day, I immediately called him and asked if he would work on the driveway that day and his response "well now the ice is too heavy because it has turned into slush." If I could give less than one star I would!!! Awful people!! DO NOT USE THEM
