I feel that they feel for the animals and really try to find them the best homes. The only reason I rate less than 5 stars is because once I found a cat that my neighbors abandoned (didn't realize until they cat showed up on my doorstep starving). I tried to find the guy a home, but I couldn't get anyone to take him. My dogs are not cat-friendly, so I couldn't keep him locked up in a bathroom forever. I took him to the Humane Society, and they were initially nice, but they quickly tried to "vet" me to see if I was just dropping off my own cat. It was very accusatory. However, they still took the cat. Of note, this IS a kill shelter.
