When I asked if Alpers could install a lock the counter person without looking up gave a snarky "we don't do handyman work" as a response. I'll think twice before going back to Alpers, and will first choose Ace Hardware, or even Home Depot.

Got home and asked my Mom if she'd had any issues with me and she told me a story about a recent visit where she needed help identifying a lightbulb that needed replacing. She enlisted the of the sales woman, who asked her "What do I look like, a psychic?" Go to this store if you want to be belittled and treated poorly.

I can tolerate Lowes occasionally and Home Depot only if I am desperate. Its amazing how most of these small stores still have everything you need, and if for some reason they don't, they know exactly what the real name of the thingy is your trying to find. Parking here is street and about 4 spots in the back.

She became very nasty when she realized I was standing there and did not get her attention. How was I to know that your peripheral vision was non existent. I explained that I was trying not to be rude and interrupt her. She then continue huffing and puffing and mumbling on and on. Note to the owner: this employee is miserable at this job and taking it out on your customers for no reason. Please replace her if your value your customers and your business.
