Had a AWFUL experience today with a manicure and pedicure. When I came the instruments were sitting on the table, unpacked with signs of use. I asked to change the instruments for new, sterile ones, which were changed but unpacked as well, so I am not sure if they sterilize them. The pedicure was ok, but the manicure was terrible. Everything was in a rush, cuticles were not cleaned and the cover was very unprofessional, Photos are attached. Also, I was not asked what shape I would like and was trimmed as square, when I told the lady that I prefer a round shape, it was changed and was way too short. I also was asked to wash my nails in the bathroom in the middle of the manicure, which was weird. Also, I was asked to change the table a few times in the middle of the manicure. I have never had such a terrible experience and don't recommend anyone to go there. read more

I live just around the corner from this place and finally went in for a mani pedi. The salon itself is very nicely decorated and clea and I felt immediately comfy and relaxed upon entry. The ladies who work there are so kind and caring and just had fun banter. I just got a regular mani pedi and they did an awesome job, it was luxurious and my nails look awesome. I should note that everyone else in there were getting acrylic or gel. The customers were all known by name and clearly had been visiting Natalia Rose for year. They do not sterilize the tools from one person to the next. I saw her using the same tools on me that she used on the person before me without them being washed or sterilized. The basin where your feet go do not have the disposable plastic liner like in other salons. I felt disgusted with my feet in this germ infested basin. your heels are not done. They do not focus on calluses, nor do they offer it. At least they did not to me even after asking. The woman was rushing through and was not professional. This was the first and last time I will come here. I gave it a try, but for $37.50 plus tip I can go elsewhere and get a much better pedicure. read more

The atmosphere is pleasant. The ladies are nice and welcoming but it was not as expected. They did not clean my cuticles well and I had to let her know. I went with a few friends for a mani/pedi day for my friend who is getting married. We had never been to this salon before and wanted to give it a try. Here's my thoughts: Pros: Very friendly and welcoming staff, nice atmosphere and ambiance, good prices. Cons: We waited a while despite a reservation (though they were very apologetic- their staff was short), my gel manicure color faded completely in less than one day* (no excessive sun involved!), and while the lady doing my manicure did an excellent job (except for color issue?) and was very neat and gentle, my friend who received a pedicure got her cuticles pushed so hard she was bleeding on a few of her toes. I had a hard time deciding between 2 and 3 stars but the friendliness of the staff bumped it up to 3. Was happy to get squeezed in last minute. Talia did my nails and she was super friendly. It was awesome to see how the customers all hugged her goodbye and spoke so highly of her and the likewise. The gel fill was quick, and so far looks great. The nails themselves are filed a little crooked, but not too noticeable. I'm super OCD though so I always notice things like that. I called to make an appointment for specifically what I needed, and when I showed up, I showed up to a dirty salon that smelled of cigarettes with two "nail techs," neither of whom could do what I made my appt for. The owner claimed I misrepresented what I needed the appt for, and then said that they couldn't help me. I couldn't go there regardless as it was dirty, smelled of poor hygiene, and neither person looked competent enough to do a manicure based on their own hygiene and nails. read more

On January 25th, 2020 at approximately 10:30 am my boyfriend and I got a facial at Natalia Salon and Spa. Both of our upper back and shoulders were massaged. Later on that day, that same area started to get itchy on his back. The next day he woke up to his shoulders and upper back COVERED in a rash. I thought it would go away, maybe he just reacted to the oils (which has never happened before) but It progressively got worse. A week later and a doctors visit, turns out that he got an infection! It is now scabbing over. I just spoke to the manager of the Salon and she argued with me that she didn't believe me. She wanted him to come down to the Salon and prove it to her. We both are from Boston and I was down there just for the weekend visiting family. I told her that and she still insisted that we needed to drive 3 hours to prove to her. They clearly have record that we were there that day. She told me she wanted to get a doctor down there to test it! What!? I NEVER EVER write bad reviews or want to put someone's business down but this was NOT handled appropriately whatsoever. I simply wanted a refund. I had no plans to put someone's business down. Even though my boyfriends back was infected and people should probably be aware of it regardless. TERRIBLE customer service and DIRTY. Worst pedicure ever! No massage chairs...not very clean considering the virus going on. Then to top it off...charged me 42$ for a regular pedicure! Such a waste of money. I can go to another place and get a "spa pedicure" for 45$. The lady took about 10 minutes on my pedicure and barely washed of massaged my feet. DO NOT go here. I only stopped in as I had purchased a Groupon for a mani/pedi. I was so glad I did, as the salon is clean and the service was excellent. I particularly appreciated the extra time they gave me in the massage chair. Talia even did my manicure in that chair...so much nicer than having to move. This is the only place that actually listens when you ask for something!! My teenage daughter loves coming here to get her "fills" done. She likes them coffin shape and the nail tech nails it! My daughter has small fingers and she makes the fill on her nails so thin and natural looking. We don't feel rushed & the place is clean and relaxing. Love coming here! The location was hard to find, when I went inside they seemed clean, they took the time to get to know my name and they were very friendly; however, my mani and pedi was rushed, they left nail polish all around my nails, and I also had a eyebrow wax which was not at all flattering, I had to go home and fix everything for it to look decent. I love this place, friendly, professional and social and would have given 5 stars if they were more experienced at the SNS nail application. I called to be sure they were familiar with the process and they assured me they were up to date. I soaked for 20 minutes (perfect) to remove the old SNA polish so there was no need to use the 'nail drill' as I call it. However when applying the new SNS I believe the 'drill' should have been used after the 1st coat and all subsequent coats. After a week of SNS (to the cuticle) I'm left with nail beds that get caught in everything....hair, clothing, etc. Requesting more educated nail technicians for SNS nail application at Natalia. Now I'm tasked with having them removed at one nail salon (gently$ and applied at another (correctly). read more

I tried this establishment because of the review I read, and was completly disappointed. I am very particular with my nails, and know a quality manicure/pedicure when I receive one. The worst part is, the person who polished my nails didn't even do so evenly leaving shadowing and spacing around my cuticles. The person didn't speak English to explain what I was upset with and all the other workers were in the break room...I paid close to $50. and walked out of there realizing I now need to go somewhere else to get a proper nail polish application. My mother and I were attending a wedding down the street and we were looking for a place to receive a manicure...let me just say what an AWEFUL experience we had. My mothers manicurist had her daughter with her, which would be fine if she was not throwing Cheerios and pens at her mother and distracting her. My mother never received a top coat and didn't bother to ask for it. I had the great luck of asking for a mani and pedi and the nail polish they used was old...so my entire Color was on my cuticles....they were laughing and spending over an hour trying to get it off. Don't even get me started on how horrible they cut my cuticles and uneven nail trim. I am fairly tolerant when people have crummy days, as I am in customer service myself. But this is completely unacceptable I can't believe I spent $50 on the worst mani pedi of my life!! I will never pass by danbury again without thinking of this horrible place. read more
