What should have been a routine appointment became a nightmare. Lien was clearly overwhelmed, trying to juggle too many clients at once--particularly squeezing in several men's haircuts--while I was left to over-process unattended. The result? My long, healthy, blonde hair was fried all the way to the scalp. I was devastated, physically and emotionally, especially heading into the holidays. The damage was so severe that I had no choice but to take legal action--and I won. It was shocking how she tried to lie and deny any wrongdoing, but I had clear, indisputable evidence, and the judge saw right through her. The court recognized the extent of the harm and ordered her to pay for all of my hair repair and damages. After more than a decade of loyalty, I never imagined it would end this way. I would never recommend trusting your hair to Lien Do! No history of good service can excuse such carelessness, dishonesty, and unprofessional behavior. My hair, my time, and my trust were all seriously damaged--and no one else should have to go through that.

The Benchmark Haircut is advertised as a high-end service designed to leave you feeling refreshed and pampered, but his experience was anything but that. From the moment he walked in, the atmosphere was chaotic. The two stylists spent most of the appointment chatting loudly across the room, barely paying attention to my husband or engaging with him about his haircut. Kids were running around unsupervised, one screaming the entire time, and the whole place just felt disorganized and unprofessional. Since this was a surprise and my husband had never been to this salon before, he had no idea what to expect, and the stylist was so focused on her conversation with the other stylist that she couldn't take the time to explain what was included in the service. Instead of the relaxing break I had hoped for, he walked out feeling frustrated and annoyed. For the price of a premium service, we expected way better. The whole experience felt rushed and impersonal, and no one seemed to care about the environment they were creating. My husband kept saying how awful the experience was and that he would never go back. Given the cost and the reputation of the Boardroom Salon, we left feeling really disappointed.
