The furniture made it feel very cozy. I honestly didn't expect to find a coffee shop like this in Buda. The barista was very nice and gave recommendations. My mom and I both ordered Iced Pecan Pie Lattes which was a seasonal drink that they were featuring. We ordered our drinks to go, but then decided to sit in the cafe and enjoy our beverages. The coffee is legit! We both liked our beverages. I really enjoyed the pecan flavor and the sweetness level was perfect. The barista informed us that they make all of their syrups in house. I noticed that there were plenty of outlets for work or study. There's quite a bit of seating including couches. They have QR codes at each table that you can order from which is so convenient. In addition to coffee (which is served until 5 pm), they also have wellness drinks, wine, beer and cocktails. They have a nice sized stage for live music. I have to say this was some of the best shrimp and grits I've had. The portion was perfect, not too heavy on the grits and plenty of gravy, perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked jumbo shrimp. As I looked over the menu, I realized that they have some amazing seafood choices and their raw oysters on the half shell are very high-quality for the area. Our service was wonderful. Our server was very attentive and offered coffee refills on the regular. The restaurant itself and bar are so well decorated. It's such a comfortable place. What makes it even better is they have a huge covered outdoor area for overflow or if you just want to sit outside. Everything about Taste on Main makes it one of my favorites in the area. Progress needs to monitor their food trucks better and revisit those contracts PARKING: Now that Progress has subleased a portion of their building to an insurance agent, the alternate lot is reserved for insurance patrons only. We did a build your own boil bag with 3 lb of crawfish, half pound of shrimp, half pound of crab legs, with 1 sausage, 2 potatoes, 2 corn & some little mushrooms. Paid just a little over $80 for that. The crawfish was good with really good flavor and spice, But most of them were still pretty small due to the season. The shrimp was good!
