This coffee truck is nestled behind Willie's joint, it's a little awkward to turn left out of the lot on a school morning but definitely worth the traffic!!! Yelp you didn't steer me wrong. Was looking for an espresso nearby in the Buda area outside of the normal shops I normally frequent and it let me here, to this great lil trailer parked in the Willie's Joint premises. Ordered a latte and a double espresso just to see what their coffee was going to be like. At the last minute, I changed my espresso order when I read you could have their double espresso as a CUBANO. Well, hell, why not? Their latte was right on point, with a strong espresso presence just I like them. Their Cubano though was something special; they definitely know how to pull espresso shots and added a splash of milk and little sugar. Truly a great drink, one that I will definitely be having more of-props to the barista. They also had a limited menu for Christmas that sounded super good, especially if you'll be here for the Buda Trail of Lights. Stopped here on a Sunday morning; the owners were very friendly and efficient! It's inside the patio area of Willie's Joint, so you're mixed in with that music and crowd, which is totally fine, but they allow smoking and have ash trays on tables, so as long as you don't mind the occasional smoke smell, it's a good spot with shady areas! I got a cold brew and the best almond lemon poppy seed muffin I've ever tasted and it was gigantic! It was so nice to sit out and enjoy this delicious treat mid bike ride. Ron was as friendly as the espresso was fresh-and it was the freshest espresso I've ever had. They have every flavor you can imagine and offer incredibly helpful suggestions on flavors that complement each other well if you're indecisive like me. In addition to the top notch service and coffee it's a great place to take kids. My 8 and 4 year old loved the 8 oz hot coco and I loved the kid friendly price. There's a small jungle gym right next to the tables they can play on while you enjoy your drink. Stagecoach park is right next door as well. There's an excellent walking trail and a larger playground for older kids. If you're more of a drive thru coffee person they have a number you can text your order to.
