This will forever be a cool park to come too. My dog loves it. Theres always cool things to see, we saw a deer last time and a giant mushroom. Theres a lot of different trails to take, you can walk or ride bikes, most of the cement is even smooth enough to long board on. Theres a large grassy field and a playground for kids. Always lots of parking. Always cute dogs to pass on the trails. People are usually friendly. Its a good time

This trail was name dedicated to the first fallen soldier to die overseas from Puyallup. This all-paved secluded path is surrounded by forest on either side on the 1.6 mile walk between heritage park and Rogers Highschool. It is simple and beautiful. I enjoy it! There are a couple ponds, you may see frogs and bugs. Its a good place to slip away for a few minutes... Not a lot of people know about it... it's nice to find a park in Puyallup that isn't crowded. Bradley lake park is pretty but crowded!! Same with Desorsey Park. This park doesn't provide as cool of a water feature, but still the "get lost, and get away from it all" feeling. Perfect "safe place" for riding a bike with kids! The actual play center for the kids has two swings. A smaller section for little kids with a tunnel, and larger section for older kids with a couple of monkey bars. The park is small. There is also a very large field for playing football, freesbee, catch or whatever... There are not a lot of garbage cans and no bathrooms except at the park or the highschool park so keep that in mind before you go into the 1.6 mile trail that connects the the park and highschool! There is parking lots on both side of the trail so if you don't wish you walk, and only wanted to play at the park, or play at the highschools ball fields you could.... But the trail is the best part!

The trail is great for running, walking or with your dog or stroller! It's pretty flat, a few tiny inclines, but nothing to be worried about. The arrows are a little confusing to follow, but it's about 3 miles total. It's a loop, so you'll always end back up where you started.

How have I not reviewed Wildwood?! My first visit was years ago, but I recently took my kids for a…read morelast summer excursion. As per usual, it was a great experience. This is a great park for the summer. It's CRAZY shaded so you don't have to worry about the slides getting hot (which is crazy because they're metal). There are two play structures - one being suited to toddlers and one to older kids. The highlight of the park is obviously the creek. It was a warm day and I dressed my kids accordingly because I knew they'd play in the water! Annnnnnddd they did. I'm glad that they did because it's a great element to the park. I don't think this'll be a fall season park choice, but for warmer days, it is THE spot. Worth the visit! There's also trails surrounding the park if you're looking for a little oasis tucked into the city.

Several of the pieces of equipment on the fitness trail are kaput, but it's still a nice place to walk through. Lots of picnic shelters that can be reserved, though some are kinda really in disrepair. The log cabin style one looks rustically nice, but there are a lot of holes in the roof. There's also a creek with easy access so you can dip your feet in on the hot days. Definitely awesome when our giant sky oppressor is in full force since you can hide under the trees, but a good option regardless of weather.

This trail is near my home. It's a great trail for walking or biking. You can walk down to the river. This trail goes all the way down to Enumclaw or Buckley. Lots of beautiful scenery, flowers in bloom and majestic views of Mt Rainier. I have yet to do the full trail. I will as soon as I get my Ebike LOL! I often walk this trail to walk Havanna my grandfur baby. It's always enjoyable.

Continuing to really enjoy the Foothills Trail! On the last outing Steve and I (as well as a…read morefriend) went from the McMillin Trailhead to the East Puyallup Trailhead which was about 4 miles one way. To avoid a very long walk we parked one car at the East Puyallup Trailhead and began our walk in by parking with our other car at the McMillan Trailhead. The walk was very enjoyable and the summer day we chose couldn't have been perfect with warm but mild temperatures. More forested scenery to enjoy as you walk between these two trailheads as opposed to going the opposite way to Orting. I am eager to tackle more chunks of this trail but have held off due to other summer time activities and we also learned that parts of the trail would be closed for maintenance for a part of the summer due to needed improvements so we are holding off to continue more pieces of the trail until Autumn where we hope these closures have expired and the maintenance is finished.
