He responded within a day to my email inquiry of his services and then followed through by showing up promptly for the scheduled appointment, just a couple of days later. Nathan was professional, kind and patient with my elderly mother . Even when we took an extra 30 minutes of his time due to the rather trying circumstances, he remained calm & focused and did not even ask to be paid additionally for his time. We have 4 interactions with Nathan so far and each time he has impressed us with his courteousness and professionalism. He is extremely helpful and goes out of his way to help people who need his services. The first time we contacted him was on superbowl evening where we needed to get something notarized urgently. Where all others said they would charge $40+ just to come over in addition to signing fees, Nathan didn't charge us more than a very reasonable signing fees. And we had forgotten to take photocopies of one of the documents. He waited patiently while we went to the nearby kinkos and brought back the photocopy to be notarized. Another time, we requested him to come over to our house to notarize a document and we didnt have all the required documents (again!!). He was very patient and didn't charge any fees at all. I was previously rejected by multiple different notaries, because of some issues with the paperwork that was prepared by my lawyers. I was the trustee for my dad's estate after he died and there a million forms to deal with, some of which needed to be notarized. I actually just did a Google search for "notary San Jose" and Nathan's name popped up. His reviews looked pretty good so I decided to try him out, and I'm glad I did. Nathan has a web form on his site that you fill out with basic information about what you need notarized and the day/time you prefer. He emails back almost immediately and sets up the best time. Keep in mind that he only works 6-9 on weekdays (and weekends by request), but since most people work, that actually works out pretty well. He can come to your house for a small charge or you can go out to his home in Evergreen. He only charges $5 per signature, which is really reasonable. One thing I liked is that he always knew exactly what the documents were that I brought him--often helping to explain to me what we were signing. He's very thorough and makes sure that the dates and names are totally correct (for example, he made sure I signed with my middle initial, since that's what the document asked for, even though I rarely sign with my middle initial. It's the type of detail that can hang up a document's approval). He's quick and professional and I'd definitely go back if I ever needed him. read more

I needed to get some professional licensing documents notarized. Nathan popped up first when I googled him. I was able to set up an appt with him the next day, where he promptly arrived ahead of time and notarized my documents. He only charged $5 per document. The second time, I needed a document notarized the same day. I wrote to nathan and he was very courteous and agreed to meet me that evening, even though he had to be somewhere right after. He did not charge me for the one document he notarized, the second time, since I drove 15 miles to see him. Such a great guy. My fiance and I contacted this guy regarding a routine document and he did not know what it was. Ok, that's fine but then when he said that he was going to get back to me in a few hours after he'd do some research, I didn't hear back from him until 8 hours later. I emailed Nathan late at night probably almost midnight on a weekend because I needed some documents to be notarized on by the Sunday that weekend. I thought I wouldn't get any response probably until Sunday morning and would probably get the documents notarized by Monday. 5 minutes later Nathan responded to my email and we arranged the meeting on Sunday afternoon to get the documents notarized.
