5 star nails I absolutely love this nail salon. The techs here are so welcoming and professional. I'm a waitress so I'm always on my feet and people look at my hands often. I get my pedicures, nails and brows done here. Only place that I let arches my brows. Miss Mindy let's my feet soak and shapes my toes nails the way I like it. This spot has come along way since I visited a few years back. The customer service is muuuuucccchh better. A+++ S/O to them for working with me so close to closing time. Although Google does say 8 with nail salons they have to close a bit earlier or they'd be there all night. So I really appreciate them. The young lady that worked with my nails was very kind and sociable. She even suggested this green shimmer polish that I love, although I likely wouldn't have chosen it for myself. Much appreciated. The other staff was very nice this evening. Even though they were swamped all day today and couldn't even eat lunch, it was hard to tell that from their great attitudes. Congrats to them. The attitudes from the techs are ridiculous. I just left from getting my nails reshaped due to Spring Nails across the street totally screwing them up. How hard is it to do a half inch, square shaped full set?? Anywho, the woman seemed as though she had an attitude and initially thought I got my full set done there. I had to tell her multiple times, NO, I got this done across the street at Spring Nails and in return I caught an attitude. And then charged me $10 for less than 5 minutes of shaping. I didn't tip and never plan on coming back here again. I'm sure there's better salons in the Stone Mountain area. read more

Terrible attitudes from the young male tech. The experience in itself was just a nightmare. I don't think all were like that. He just kept making snide side remarks, really came off as a a**hole. This place is ripping people off, they do not have set prices and just makes up a number when you ask. I use to go here often then one they they charged me $50 for a fill and $15 for a polish change(regular polish). When k got my receipt it had extension full sent and eyelash extensions as the service. When I informed them about it and told the that it was wrong they kept telling me it was the correct price. I asked for a recipe with the correct info on it and they refused to give me one. The next day I called and asked how much a full set was and the guy on the phone said 55 and a fill was 45 but you could tell he was guessing. The price sign in the store is not hanged up but on it a fill is listed as 30, which is what I use to pay. read more

I wish I could give no stars. I used to love this place when I was living in this area! I live about 45 mins from here now but I insisted on going here to get my nails done for New Years. Now at first I wanted a freestyle set which is what I usually get when I go here. I was going to tell him some shapes and colors and everything. But I had someone new who wanted a picture so I had to make a decision in 5 minutes because he rushed me. I made my decision and he kept complaining it was hard. I had 3 different shapes I wanted and some gems put on. No nail polish. Just shaping and putting diamonds on. And they were short. I got something similar to this earlier this year and paid $55 but he charged me $85. I assumed because he was new to doing nails and he was complaining it was hard. He took $5 off because he didn't want to do my thumbs. The lady doing my feet ignored me when I said I wanted toe acrylic. So she charged me $50 only. Also they don't have the $25 option anymore. It would have been $35 only if that but they want your money so bad . When they totaled it up altogether it came up to $145. Charged me an extra $10. But I still left a $20 tip because it was my favorite place since I was 16. I got them done 4 days before New Years. Now when I left the FIRST DAY! MY BIG TOE WAS MESSED UP. Then the gems started falling off. She made my toe nail peel a little and this has never happened before. Then I dropped my food and went to pick it up one of my nails flew off. Closed the car door another one came off. Gems been coming off and I'm SUPER Careful with my nails all the time. This has never happened and my nails are usually lasting 3 weeks to a month when I get them done here.... But the time I left they were closing (that's how long it took I got there around 3) and I had work the next day. I had work all week so I couldn't go back. I go back today and they are closed because they are getting new things. Now I'm leaving this review with pictures and contacting support for my money back !! The picture with it looking like blood my nail tech friend said he filed too hard and low. That mail was hurting before it fell off!!! read more

I got a recommendation to come here from one of my friends that apparently sees Anna regularly. I guess I should have asked for her because literally the day after my nails were done they started chipping. A week later one nail broke in half and then just over a week having them two additional nails came completely off (did not pull my nail off by the way so no I didn't snag them.) I have never had this issue before so I will not be going back. I am not paying all that money for a new set ($70 not $17) when the mess won't even last two weeks. read more

If you're a perfectionist like myself, this isn't he place to get your nails done. It's a hit or miss each time you go. Through my perspective and experience of being there a few times, it seems that they care about your money more than your 100% satisfaction of YOUR nails. Why do I have to risk walking out of this place with fat, crooked nails? Why can't they be perfect every time? If you speak up about not liking the way your nails came out, they'll catch an attitude and talk about you in another language. It's obvious. Even during the process of when you see them missing a certain detail, and you ask them to fix it, they'll literally tell you "No" until you beg them to do it. There was only one time I've been there and a young man did my acrylics phenomenally ((even though one of the women shaped my toenails uneven)! Other than that day, it's been nothing but attitude since going back. The only employee I'd trust that works there is the young man but, there's a high chance you won't catch him there most of the time. My suggestion to this establishment is that the young man should reinforce everyone else's skills on shaping and proper customer service. Thank you. read more

If I could give this place zero stars , I would. The service was horrible , they rushed it and didn't care about my opinion and it's my nails. I got a full set for both my hands and feet and the lady was so rough my actual nail came off and she tried putting acrylic powder over it causing it to burn. I came back the following day because I spoke to one of employees over the phone and she said she'll fix it . The guy who did my nails had an attitude and tried blaming me for how his work looked . Overall it was just a terrible service and I payed way too much for this bs. There's a sweet woman that works here, she tried making the situation better but it was only so much she could do. The man literally cut my fingers and made them bleed.. he just wiped the blood and kept doing the same thing it hurt so bad. then i told him i wanted a LETTER on my ring finger, he pulled out glitter. i understand people make mistakes, but he was also rude and him and troody kept arguing the whole time. like LITERALLY ARGUING. it was so annoying. He was rude, didn't ask how i wanted them, he just did them. I usually only go there to get my nails done by troody, but she was busy so i was stuck with the man. I don't recommend him, honestly. I was on the hunt for a new nail salon when I went to Nation Nails yesterday; it was a Sunday. There was no wait but only 4 people working, 2 of which were new so did not do all services. Be did my nails & was able to get the shape I have been wanting just right, she was excellent. Once she was done she had one of the newer people paint by nails & she also did a great job. I walked out extremely happy & only spent $35 on a Fill-In with gel polish & 2 wax services. This is definitely my new nail salon. Only giving 4 stars because they could have more gel polish color options. read more

I frequent this nail shop at least once a month; however, normally I have the same people do my nails... either Ben who does my nails and Sarah who does my toes and applies my gel nail polish. This last time I went I had another lady do my nails the one who is always on her phone face timing every time I visit. Not even a week later my gel nail polish was chipping and showing variations in color. So I went back to ask them to fix my nails as I have never had this king of issue with gel nails and gel polish. The nail tech tries to tell me that my polish is doing that because of me putting my hands in my hair. She then wipes my nails with acetone and nothing comes off. Then she apologizes and says she's not sure what happened and then goes into saying she will fix my nails for $10. I refused to pay for a mistake that she made. If she would have done my nails correctly the first time I would not have had to come back to get them fixed! I do not plan on going back as I refuse to go somewhere where the customer is not appreciated. read more

So I was in the area and need my nails done. Went to check this place out and it was super crowded. So I did have to wait a bit to get started with. Which was not much of a thing I thought maybe this is a good thing that so many women are here. Fast forward to the end of the job. Nothing about the service stood out in any big or small way. Before I was to pay another customer seemingly try to skip out without paying which took the majority of the staff to look into. I guess on a high of that they ask me to pay my bill. Sure I have the money I mentioned to the guy however, I have the worst luck when getting my nails done and asked if he could help me getting my credit card. He passed me my wallet and watched. So I had to go into my wallet myself which messed up my nail. He doesn't say anything about this but when my card comes back I graciously tip (even though I am wondering what they got planned for my nails). When I went to dry them he put another coat on top of the chipped nail. In the end, I would not say I would for sure return but if you are okay with speaking up and speaking out I guess they would accommodate you. read more
