My daughter and I walked in at 6:45 on a Wednesday. They close at 7:30. We were in a chair within 10 minutes. My daughters nails weren't wrapped up until 8:25. They did not rush because they were closed and did beautiful work. She wanted a lot with her nails lol! Diane dud my gel manicure and her manicure was thorough, felt good and she listened to me. They offered beverages. I noticed men were also in here. Overall wonderful experience. Too bad I'm just in town for a few days or this would be our spot! read more

I came here for the first time right before going on vacation. I showed a picture of how I wanted my nails done to the tech (mind you they were not difficult at all)! She said she could do it. On almost every nail there was something wrong. One of the designs included a double French which is really just 2 lines. I kept asking her to make the lines thicker because they were so thin, like fine tip pen. After 3 times, I gave up and just let it be. The other design she kept messing up and then trying to convince me it looked like the picture as if we weren't looking at the same picture lol. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I gave up on that too and just asked her to do something different and she seemed frustrated that she had to remove it. If it looks bad, why are you the one frustrated![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Meanwhile she was rushing me the whole time because she was trying to leave 30 minutes early from what the closing time states. I arrived an hour and a half before they were supposed to close and only got my hands done. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She walked right out the door with me so I knew she was rushing me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you go here, just get something simple, she's not very skilled with designs, even basic ones. I was very disappointed. I posted pictures of what I wanted versus what I got. One of the designs I just told her to do something else which is why I have pearls. I have been struggling to find a decent nail salon. I checked yelped and found Serenity and thank goodness. I popped in with no appt was immediately seated. I got sns and gel pedicure. Literally took 35 minutes in and out. The place was super clean, music wasn't ridiculously loud and the staff was real sweet. It is moderately priced and totally worth it. read more

Came here for a gel manicure and pedicure. Overall did a great job on my nails. My friend worked with Diane and she did a fantastic job on her nails too! Had a beverage of choice, chose wine. Overall great experience. Came here as a walk-in Friday evening and was serviced immediately. We were one of the last few to leave before they closed. read more

I'm disappointed! Fast dry spray + air drying 30+ minutes... watered down polish wiped off. What polish stayed on was nearly transparent because polish-de-gumming solution thinned the color. Very disappointed! read more

I found this shop after a quick search on yelp and wasn't sure what I'd end up with, especially since I'm not from ATL. I showed Annie a picture of what I wanted, she told me how much it would cost and got to work. Very considerate, she was accommodating and told me to let me know if she was hurting me at all. Which, on a side note, is appreciated because sometimes you go to nail shops and the technicians are not as mindful about if the drill is burning you or too close to your nail bed or cuticle. What an amazing experience I had here in this heartwarming and friendly salon. I haven't gotten my nails done in over 10 months in the states, and it was such a remarking experience. We were passing through Georgia, for a couple days, and I found this salon on yelp, and had to try it! Boy, am I glad I did. I called an hour before to make an appointment for a pedicure and fresh French set, and you would've never known they were short-staffed by 3 people. They were super busy, which is always a good sign! However, I was treated with a smile and engaging conversation the entire time by Stacy. I just got back from living 10 months in Italy, and boy was it nice to get my feet done properly in the states. They really paid attention to the cuticle line and ingrown skin on your feet. Thank fucking god!! I can't explain how nice it was to experience anew my nails in this salon! They are more on the high-end, in regards to service and foreseeing the customers needs, before the customer even asks. Very excellent quality and well-run establishment. I'll go back! I came for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon, around 4ish. There weren't many customers when I walked in, but I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen. I wanted a basic SNS manicure, with no nail enhancements. My nails were already natural, so there was no need for any removal services. I dislike getting my nails done often, so as to not damage my nails too bad, so I was a bit hesitant to get SNS, but Stacy (my nail tech), was really nice and made it clear that she would make sure to not damage my nails. The whole SNS (dip powder) with manicure took about 1hr, and my nails look great! I was charged $58 (not including tip) for SNS dip on natural nails (no nail enhancements) with basic manicure. Prices here are a bit steep for basic nail services, but I guess inflation is jacking up prices everywhere! They do have a menu that lists all their prices, and taking a quick glance at the menu, I was stunned to learn they charge for everrryyttthing! Like literally! The next time I come, which will be to remove this SNS, I'll probably be spending $45 just for a regular manicure and SNS removal. I will say, Stacy did make my dip really thick (but not bulky) so I feel like my manicure will last a while, which I am happy about because I refuse to shell out $58 every couple of weeks for a basic SNS manicure. There's parking behind the nail salon, but unfortunately when I came, I couldn't find the garage/parking deck they said was for the business, so I parked across the street in the public parking garage. Lucky for me, I didn't have to pay, as the gate was broken, but I think it's $6.50 for a couple of hours (don't quote me on that), in the public parking garage across the street from the nail salon. Next time, I'll come really early to see if I can find the free parking they claim to have. All in all, for a first time visit, not too bad. I think I'll come back and request Stacy. read more

DON'T GO HERE!! I would give zero stars if I could. The nail technician kept using the N word and when I POLITELY asked her to not say that word around me she got very upset and had a huge attitude. Very unprofessional. Never going back to this mail salon. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for almost two years now and they always do a great job. I can go to any for SNS and expect it to look good. My favorite nail tech is Cathy though. She's very creative and can guide you in making a nice set. In terms of covid, everyone wears a mask and face shield. There's also plexiglass between you and your tech. It felt very safe and clean. read more

Serenity Nail Salon is my go to nail salon and has been for the past year or so since I relocated to ATL. I tried a few other places at first that are actually closer to me but I found Serenity's quality of work and consistency just better by far. I usually get a dip manicure and gel pedicure and have never left disappointed. It's a well-run, cleanly and organized studio. I like the ambiance and space - it's a smaller salon with a chill atmosphere. The staff are professional and friendly. The studio manager/staff do a good job answering the phone, even when it gets really busy, and they'll be upfront with you if and when they can fit you in (if you don't have an appointment). The location is great, right off the Beltline in Inman Park, so very walkable but there is also street and garage parking close by. Also, they have a loyalty program so if you sign up with your name and number, you can get a couple dollars off a future service after several visits. Overall, really pleased and happy to have found Serenity Nail Salon! read more

My nails were cut painfully short and despite their online advertising, when I asked for a nail design they said they couldn't do it because of the color choices. Later, they said they could do it. Then they said, "How handsome your nail. Why you want color?" At that point I paid the 28 bucks for nothing and walked out. read more

A quaint nail salon with no frills. I did a walk in on a Saturday morning for a regular mani-pedi. I was instantly greeted and asked to choose a color. Within 5 minutes, someone was already working on my feet and hands. I was asked what type of pedicure I wanted and opted for the essential pedicure for $30 and $18 for manicure. I was not asked what kind of manicure I wanted, so I'm assuming there's none to choose from. The overall work took about 30 mins. People complement nails all the time. You know why? Cause my girl Emily keeps me looking fresh. If you're looking for someone to help you with your nail inspirations come to life, Emily is it. Emily has foil, nail chains, Japanese style nail decorations, nail stamps, etc. She has all the things! If she doesn't have the things, she'll order them to make your nail dreams a reality. SNS nail art is about $65 and up but it will last you for at least three weeks. People always are amazed that my nails hold up for a month without any chipping or something falling off (when I have like chains and stuff happening on my nails). I went to Serenity 10 days ago for a new full set my acrylic nails. As of today 3 of them haven't broken. Not only have they broken, all 3 broke the same way. The tips snapped off. As someone who has been wearing acrylics for 15+ years ... it's obvious that the acrylic was too thin and this often is done on purpose so you have this issue and have to return to pay for Repairs and a fill. I think it's hit or miss. The lady who was assigned to do my pedicure. Didn't start off right so I told her never mind. I had already been soaking in the water and she started cutting my cuticles right away without pushing them back. I told her to push my cuticles back and she just took the tool and just passed over it. I knew then it wasn't going right and told her to stop. She said I needed to soak and then she can cut it. Keep in mind I was already soaking for 10 minutes. She started speaking in Korean (I think) to the other nail technicians which is fine...lol. She stayed in front of me and said let me try again. I said cool and told her I really like my cuticles pushed back and taken off. She did the same as before and I told her to stop. It's fine. Then again talking to the other nail techs in Korean about me, b/c everyone started looking my way. Manager came over and asked what the problem was. I just said I didn't like the way she started my pedicure and that was that. No biggie. The situation I didn't like was when my male friend who is black wanted the guy that did our friends nails to do his and he said, "I don't do men hands." Then I asked for him to did my feet and he said he doesn't do feet either. That was disrespectful and rude. But like I said it's fine, there are other nail shops in Georgia. Just beware. Btw. Manager does great nails and Sarah does great feet! That's all. read more

Hi Yelp world! For starters, I have been coming to this nail salon for about 7 years. I was usually a walk- in and was serviced by whoever was available for the service I requested. These days, I make appointments with my girl Kathy. It took me a while to find someone here who took the time and had the skill to do my nails AND my toes. I don't always get the same service, but no matter what she can do it! We laugh and joke and have a good time. I enjoy my biweekly visits to Serenity as well as a chance to hang with Kathy! She takes her time and always delivers for me. I got gold SNS nails there and my technician used the nail drill a TON, especially down near my cuticles, which are still red and slightly painful now (next morning). The technician also used the nail file under and on the sides of my nails like 6 or 7 times. At the end of the manicure, I had to put my nails under the UV/LED light, which I've never had to do for any of the dozen other times I've gotten SNS. The manicure took over 45 minutes, and I came in with bare nails. I'm dreading when I get the polish taken off for how destroyed my nail beds will be. The nails themselves look good, but the weird process and still being in pain is very frustrating. I probably won't be returning. One final note is that the buffers and files were used, and it didn't look like they had been sterilized from the last use. read more

With only two people in the shop, someone had to help me, and that fell on him. While he finished up, the front desk lady was actually sweet about the service. She brought over colors and even suggested a fun option: a clear SNS base with gel polish on top for a jelly color effect. I loved the idea and agreed. When he was ready, he held his hands out without a word and got to work. No greeting, no conversation. He soaked my nails in what I can only describe as boiling water before filing everything off, which was genuinely painful. When I mentioned the jelly color technique the lady suggested, he said it wasn't possible, started doing my nails anyway, and never explained further. The paint job was rough. It looked like I did it myself with my non dominant hand. The whole service felt rushed despite the salon being practically empty, which made it more frustrating given that I called ahead specifically to be considerate of their time. Five days later my nails are destroyed. The SNS has cracked on most fingers and taken chunks of my actual nails with it. The gel polish is flaking off. Press ons would have held up better. STarted coming to this salon about 3 months ago. I love Mandee, Navi and Kathy. Mandee was who did my nails my first two visits. She slayed my SNS both times and conversation is always amazing and a good time. Navi is also amazing. She did my pedicure and did an amazing job while making me feel comfortable, plus GREAT CONVERSATION! During COVID-19, they closed for a while but when they did open, they took great precautions to be safe and make clients feel comfortable. KATHY!!!!! She is holding it down by herself. I love that she is honest and advised upfront that she did not do full sets or acrylic nails. I was lucky because I was there for SNS. She did amazing with that and my pedicure. I come to serenity nail salon every two weeks, I love all the girls in there! They keep the salon and tools clean. Very professional girls in this salon. This place has the best service and that's why I return. The massage chairs are super comfortable and you don't have to repeat yourself because they speak English. A lot of the other salons you go to are pretty complicated. You have to explain what you want 100 times and at the end of the day you leave with something you never really wanted! So overall I give this nail salon 5 stars! I believe that some people are never satisfied, these girls have a hard job and does their best! Customer service is great. Parking: The building is easily accessible and there is parking on both sides of the building. It is located in a very busy area (east Atlanta village). When I walked in I was addressed immediately and was treated so kindly. Something I really liked was when u come in they ask u to wash your hands first then pick out your color. That way so many germs aren't e transferred from ppls hands to the nail polish bottles and vice versa. When I washed my hands there were no paper towels but instead there were clean white towels u could dry your hands with. Process: at this point I'm impressed. I picked out two polishes but I couldn't make up my mind which one I wanted. But then this happened.... the nail tech OFFERED to paint my toes with both colors just to see which one I wanted, I almost cried. lol. I REALLY appreciated that. My nail tech, Minh, was very gentle with my pedicure and didnt make me feel rushed. She also immediately greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. The manager was helping clients out of their massage chairs and asked me how I was enjoying my pedicure. The other male nail tech was pulling out chairs like a gentleman for his clients. They highly recommend making an appointment but the tech did say that if they're not too busy, they will take walk-ins. I made my appointment on their website. Deluxe pedicure: They have the massaging/vibrating chairs. For me that's a requirement. My pedicure consisted of the standard nail trimming/cleaning/cuticle cutting. Then the following steps: sugar scrub leg and foot massage, a skin mask, hot towels wrapped around your legs, a lotion foot/leg massage then finally the polish. I love my techs massaging skills. She was firm but gentle. Usually this part really hurts me bc previous techs were very rough. Payment: you can pay with debit, Venmo or cash app. They even have signs with QR code's so if you didn't already have it, u can download it onto your phone. Overall experience: I can honesty say that I have never been to a nail salon where I was treated no nicely. I had such a pleasant experience. I can say I found my new nail salon. . I also watched how they treated other clients and everyone was courteous and accommodating. The only down side was during my pedicure one of the techs was playing his music on speakerphone for 15- 20 min. That is one of my pet peeves. Whenever I'm out in public, I do NOT want to hear ppls conversations or music on speaker phone.
