A little background,…read moreI travel quite frequently so stay in lots of hotels, Extended Stay most frequently over past 2 years. Well I work out of the rooms so the FREE Hotel internet is a must have. Well I guess for security reasons, Apple has increased the frequency of changing it's product IP Addresses from every 6 months to what seems like every couple weeks now. This is a real pain in the #$% because you'll get an internet error saying you've reached the maximum amount of devices for your FREE service, you'll need to now pay to have "upgraded" internet service. This didn't make sense so asked the front desk what's the deal, they always have NO CLUE, they'll say that you've probably added new devices and recommend paying for the upgraded internet with unlimited devices. I wasn't buying it so found the 866 support# and called. Well thank god the support service is provided by Velocity. They said let's see what they can find out, I explained I added no new devices, have had the same devices connected with a combination of Android & Apple devices. The Tech did some research and after 10 minutes says I got it, he explained how frequently Apple will switch the IP addresses on their devices to help with security. Well the Hotel system still sees the old addresses and then thinks you've added all these new devices, which takes you over the limit for the FREE internet, which then prompts them to recommend paying for the better internet. The Tech found the room I was in, erased all the old addresses, had me sign in again and everything then was working fine! I've now had Velocity help with this problem 6 times over the past 8 months and they're ALWAYS available!! I mean evenings, weekends, Sundays etc, someone always picks up quickly, they speak fluent English, they're articulate and understandable, everyone is always knowledgeable regarding my issue and again, always there!! They've been a life saver for me from a business standpoint because I cannot video conference with the office or customers if I don't have internet access. Listen, If you're a business researching an IT company to contract with to support your staff and/or customers, I cannot recommend them more highly, you will not be disappointed!

You have a concierge to answer questions when you purchase & a dispatcher to tell you where the movers are via text and/or phone call. A $400 down payment is required. Our rate was $160/hour all inclusive, no minimum # of hours required. We had about 25 items moved, all big stuff like mattresses, washer, dryer, couch, dressers... it took them 3 hours, including 25 minute travel time. All payment can be made online via PayPal. Tommy, Mark and Matt, our movers, were phenomenal. They offered to move any item we wanted & were great conversationalist. While they deserved several breaks, they didn't stop until they were done. The service, friendliness and communication from booking the appointment to the last item moved exceeded my expectations. In general, hiring movers is worth every penny. I can not recommend Local Anything enough! The only complaint I had was they arrived an hour and a half later than the 2 hour buffer/service time. Though they quickly made up for that small annoyance.

My home is a 4 bedroom house with a basement but not everything needed to be moved out. It took them way longer than expected to complete the move (12 hours one day and had to come back the next day to finish for 8 hours or so!). The total bill charged ended up being way more (obviously) than I anticipated.... Way too expensive than the competitors. To make matters worse, during our move (8/11/2019), the movers scratched my hardwood floor but were prompt in recognizing the issue and submitting it right away to their "Claims" department (I doubt there is such a department as I have yet to receive a call from them or anyone from this company in the matter). I have been calling them constantly to follow up on the claim as I am in the process of finalizing a sale on my house and have still not gotten a resolution. I keep getting the run arounds every time I call them and never get any followup call backs as they always promise. It's 8/30/19 today and still no resolution and I am closing on my house in less than a week. My latest call conversation was on Wednesday, 8/28/19 and the representative promised he would give me a status update on the same day and still nothing 2 days later. Mind you, when they were partially down with the work on the first day, they requested payment to be made right before they could leave my house but it's taking them weeks to even attempt to process my claim. SO FRUSTRATING TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!!! NEVER USING THEM, EVER AGAIN!!!

I've held off on writing a review for ECDI until I got to go through their whole process and see…read morewhat they had to offer and how they offered it. That being said, I wish I knew about this place two years ago. They are one of the best, if not the best, utilities you can use if you are trying to start your own business. If you are unfamiliar with what these guys do, they focus on helping people start up their own business from the ground up. Their specialty is working with people starting a micro-business (less than 10 employees) but they do work with small business owners too. Their process starts with a 6 week class on how to write a business plan, where to get financing, how to pitch your business idea to investors, how to get up and running, how to manage through your first few years in business, and so much more. The class is quite worthwhile and you make a lot of good connections with others who are going through the same process as you. Some of them may even be beneficial for your own business. After you go through that class they help setting you up with needed faculties like CPAs, HR reps, marketing people, etc. Then they sit down one-on-one and work on how to go about getting financing. They offer some micro-loans up to $100K and some other grants as well. If you choose to go down that path then they review your request, set you up with actually talking to a loan officer and helping you with other items like a location for you store. Everyone I've worked with at ECDI has been very helpful and professional. They definitely are a great place to go to if you find yourself getting stuck on your business planning and don't know were to turn to next.
