I rarely ever write reviews but after working with this company, I feel compelled to spread the word. We needed a notary this past Sunday when we found a buyer for our car. The buyer drove over an hour to look at it, so waiting till Monday to sign it over was out of the question. Luckily, when doing a search for mobile notaries we came across Notary One. I felt confidant with using Roger when I read that he has triple certification and 30+ years of experience. When dealing with legal documents, we wanted to be sure everything was done properly to avoid any issues done the road. Despite it being middle of the day on a Sunday, Roger was available pretty much immediately. It was an absolute pleasure working with Roger. He was professional, personable, took the time to thoroughly answer our questions and his rates were very reasonable. Whole process took up very little time. Easy to make an appointment, fast response, reasonable fee with travel fee, knowledgeable. Affidavit needed to be notarized and I have to share what a great service I had with Roger; - It was very easy to make an appointment.  Roger was very quick to respond via text, and accommodated my appointment in the afternoon on the same day I contacted him. - Process was very fast and he knew exactly what need to be done. - Total cost is reasonably priced with travel fee. - He is very knowledgeable for any notary processes included international notary regulations. I felt it was very convenient/helpful to have the service at a library so that my children could read quietly without any interruptions and I did not have to wait in a long line. (Affidavit could not be processed at BMV which I found out after I waited 40 minutes on a long line in the morning) I recommend Roger and definitely contact him again when I need the service next time! read more

Extremely rude. I was selling a motorcycle and contacted Roger and was quoted $35 with travel. The buyer backed out at the last minute. Roger showed up early to my house knowing that I needed to show the motorcycle to the buyer and after I explained the situation he demanded reimbursement for travel ($25). I was fine with paying him for travel but after explaining that I have an online bank and do not have cash he started shouting and threatening to call the cops. He said I was committing fraud against an officer of the court. I offered multiple times to Venmo, PayPal or mail him a check but he continued to shout at a volume that my neighbors could hear. Extremely upset with Rogers lack of professionalism. I also have this whole encounter on surveillance video if he wishes to dispute it. read more

My husband and I have worked with Roger on several occasions over the past 3 years. He was one of the first people that we met in Columbus, having moved here from California, and we "lucked out" by choosing him as our notary to close the paperwork on our house. We were immediately impressed by both his professionalism and warm and friendly manner. He presented to us at our first meeting,a list of things to see and do in Columbus that are family friendly. I bought a house out of state and needed to have a notary for my closing docs. I didn't know of any notaries and due to COVID-19, I was hesitant to go to a bank and wait until a notary was available. Roger at Notary One is Awesome. We have used him several times to come to the home of my mom whom is 87 years old and it is very hard to get her out to a notary. One of the best notary experience! We needed our passport related documents notarized and getting it done by Roger was so convenient. We exchanged a couple of texts to setup a same day appointment and received an estimate price. Roger travels to the location of your choice (provided its within columbus range) . We needed documents notarized for our new home we are building out of state. When we went to the bank we were surprised when they told us they couldn't notarize those particular documents - and they needed to be notarized that day! My wife and I needed to sign/notarize some papers for the sale of our house and the bank only gave us a 1 day window. I called Roger at 9:30pm on Monday, and Tuesday morning he met me at the hospital that my wife works at. She couldn't call off on such a short notice, so we had to go to her.
