She saw a doctor for a few minutes and he said she probably just had a cold and that was it. My mom's symptoms were not of a typical cold. Looking back now, my mom probably had Covid-19. I myself came here some years ago when I was sick and didn't want to bother with an ER. They did some blood work and the next day told me I probably just needed to see a kidney specialist. I went to an ER which I should have from jump and my situation was way worse than I thought. I had renal failure! There were no openings at any of the MinuteClinics and walk-in waits were upwards of 1 hour. I looked around and Yelp helped me find this clinic. I've been to this shopping center hundreds of times and obliviously missed that this exists, maybe because nowhere in the signage does it say "Urgent Care". There were only a few patients on a Sunday afternoon, and I was checked in right away by a friendly young male staff who had the normal requests for information, ID, insurance, and signatures on disclaimers too long to read. A cordial and helpful doctor's assistant took my vitals, led me to a patient room, and a PA-C came in within minutes to do an assessment. The entire visit was under 30 minutes and I was pleasantly surprised how fast, courteous, and professional everyone was and how convenient this facility is. The cost of the visit and tests will of course vary based on your insurance plan, but luckily it did not cost me an arm and a leg. I hope to not have a need to visit again for illness but if I had to pick a place for such a need I would choose this one.

I made an appointment online and was seen at my appointment time. The receptionists were friendly and check in was a breeze. They took down my info and I was on my way to see the doctor in 15 minutes. The waiting area was small but clean. Photos were not allowed in the examination room but the rooms were a bit worn but sanitary for a doctors office). I was first seen by a PA who assessed my situation, asked questions and did a preliminary check. I was then told to wait and a friendly and knowledgeable physician came to explain the diagnosis (thankfully I'm good) and next steps should I continue to experience similar or new symptoms. They both put my mind at ease and we're thorough in their assessment of my situation. Overall positive experience. No one wants to go to the doctor but it's always easier when the staff at the doctors office are warm and inviting. Thanks guys!

The staff are pretty nice but not super gracious. Discharge was pretty quick, though so I was in the car at 2:46p. Wish I could give a 4.5 rating, but I didn't want to do the disservice to the provider. I miss Dr. Taubman, but I really appreciate her recommending Dr. Ampey.

I have been to several appointments with her and each time have experienced a new frustration or unprofessional behavior. Her office cancelled my appointment, was unprepared with the vaccinations that I had requested, and then insulted me for not "reminding them" to check if they had said medicine. I was almost in tears, frustrated, and in need of medical service still. At this point I vowed not to return. When I heard that Dr. Ampey had moved to a new practice, I thought that the things I had experienced before might have been due to her staff (as opposed to her) and decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, at this appointment she rushed out in the middle of my exam to help a woman who was in labor. While I totally understand the necessity of her leaving, I was not provided the opportunity to ask important questions or make sure that I was fully checked out. For something that I only do once a year I find it scary knowing that I did not receive a complete checkup. Overall, I would avoid this OBGYN. Her office has been consistently unprofessional and I have left more times than not feeling as though I did not receive the proper care.

This was misdiagnosed by another neurologist. After my surgery, I've had some residual problems due to damage done to the large tumor. She has patiently treated me in various ways, allowing me to minimize the symptoms and fully enjoy life. Yes, you do sometimes wait to see her, but it's because she takes time with each patient and seen as a person. Following a stroke in 2009,…read moreI was referred to "Dr. G" by my primary care physician, I was away in Florida when the stroke occurred, so I was amazed when Dr. G. assured me that she would find the cause of the stroke (I had doubts, after all, 8 days had passed already)! Dr. G. ordered a TEE test and determined the stroke was to to a PFO (a small bypass hole in my heart that had not closed since birth and allowed a small clot to enter my brain). Following her direction, I was sent to a surgeon who was able to close the PFO with a device, called an Amplatzer, in order to prevent a clot from causing another stroke. Since that time, I have had routine follow-up appointments to monitor my progress to recovery. Dr.G is very popular, but her time and advice has made my life to recovery very happy.

We were there for a difficult situation and everyone involved absolutely made sure the process was as comfortable as it can be. They listened to our concerns. Explained everything in detail. Gave us room to make decisions. They didn't pressure or rush us. It was truly a collaborative effort and breath of fresh air. No arrogance, no condescension, no belittling, no interruptions. Amazing bad side manner. Even the staff went above and beyond. As a person with complicated health problems who has had traumatic experiences with arrogant doctors, I can say I was pleasantly surprised with our experience.
